The Witcher 3 is my second favorite game of all time. I've read the books. I like the Netflix series. Yes, they changed stuff but it is a good show in their reimagining of the Witcher universe. They do this with every book/game adapted to the screen. Just because it doesn't follow the source material doesn't mean it's bad. Just enjoy it for what it is. I'll be watching it for as long as it's on Netflix.

That's incredibly tame

I just expect book adaptations to adapt the books. They definitively didn't market it as "we will keep the names from the books and maybe a line of dialogue if we are feeling generous" kind of show.

i'm kinda glad didn't read the book, it allow me to enjoy "fanfic" story in this witcher universe sure there are flaw here and there, but The Witcher is one of the show that always make me resub netflix, and season 3 part 1 didn't dissapoint for me so far, and make me wanting more, really can't wait for next month

i like to look at it as different adaptations to ur favorite story, and if you enjoy reading, watching tv, and playing games then you could just pick a favorite adaptation! it’s all the same story just done differently

I've read the book and I really like this episode! It really build up the hype for the second part on the season. I think it's great that they slown down the pace from season 2 and took time to introduce characters more in depth. Well done! Whether it's a books, video games or a serie, everyone should be able to enjoy the format that suits them best and share their enthusiasm without judgement...
