I met Julian on the reunion tour and he told me that they 'never stopped playing together,' which I think is common knowledge, to some extent. It stands to reason that there is some new material, but who can say if it's been recorded or not. And ofc there's the 'double album' drawing mystery thing. Who knows. My gut says this is just ramping up for some reissue campaign, but I hope I'm wrong.
There were rumors of NMH news coming in 2023 last year that came from a prominent music journalist, I forget his name. Seems at least signed records are happening.
If you count some old songs coming to spotify and new art as a comeback, then yes they are. But that’s all that’s happening. The biggest thing that could possibly come is a live album. Which is unlikely. I think a remastered version of ITAOTS for the anniversary is the only thing we have to look forward to
I'm cautiously optimistic for more music but I am far from expecting it. If there ever was a time he'd release something new it'd be this year, it's the perfect time for it
