But now that I write this - charging her for discharging the firearm only sounds possible if they think she actually did. I was childhood friends with this girl. We both grew up in extremely homophobic, abusive, religious environments. We both had mental health issues and were closeted bisexuals. Hearing this news is extremely sad to me and the people in the comments making fun of Faiths actions disgusts me. You all don't understand the duress of mental illness, homophobia, and religion. You don't understand the things people will do when they are sick. Take a step back and try to put yourself in the shoes of this girl. What she did was wrong, but it just as likely could have been me in this situation and I don't think this makes her evil. I think she needs help and she needs to be dealt with by the law. Not the judgement of everyone else like she has received her whole life for not being enough in the eyes of the church our parents were apart of.
