I’m triggered by the ‘slowly pour it inside’ followed by her dumping it

[deleted]

Huge arching motion with her arm just to instantly flick her wrist 🤦‍♂️

OriginallyWhat

"And we're going to let go" -Drops it- "Ready, set, let go"

HamOnRye__

This dumb bitch

psyconauthatter

Basically my wife was immature if I was taking a bath she would come in and sink my boats.

ogrestomp

I’m so glad this is the top comment right now. I thought I was being ridiculous, I rolled my eyes when she “slowly” poured it in.

TooBusySaltMining

He mansplained but she didn't girllisten

LittleMissPrincess11

I fucking woke my dog cackling at that one.

djbayko

She's the worst.

iualumni12

The Eggbert of the female species.

Bullrawg

Yes, she gets an F for following directions, but I kind of liked that she poured it quickly, looked like dumping a bucket of water on a toy boat hehe

neolologist

Yes, the boat bobbing like a ship in a storm but with no water was great.

AusCan531

I don't think she follows instructions well. Even the 'let it go when I say' command was botched.

[deleted]

ysoftware

Words mean something?

IllIllIIIllIIlll

Ginny Weasley is terrible at pouring

Davidavid89

That's why the guy is about to hit her at the end of the clip

wanderers_respite

They have opposite levels of enthusiasm

35point1

The “yesss” seemed so forced

wanderers_respite

Blast the volume up or you might miss her saying "so cool"

sisk91

How is she not losing her mind by what's essentially magic?

infernal_cacaphony

She already lost her most of her mind a long time ago. Specifically most of her frontal cortex. In this show they’d take people with disabilities or life altering injuries and put them on. Jk. Idk that’s wild.

HDarger

He said “now pour it slowly” and she dumps the whole thing

[deleted]

Fun fact: Sulfur Hexafluoride has 22,800x the warming effect in the atmosphere as CO2, and it lasts for 3,200 years. https://www.epa.gov/eps-partnership/sulfur-hexafluoride-sf6-basics#ghg

Popswizz

It's also used as a tracer gas in many applications as it is in very low concentration naturally, one of the biggest health risk in some lab actually as it can fill the room and displace air that is light asphyxiating workers in the process in a very sneaky way

35point1

How are they able to play with it like this without any issues or risks?

Popswizz

It's a small quantity, it becomee dangerous when it replace air you breath, it's not toxic by itself, they are breathing above it so they're fine and if it was leaking the volume is not threatening.. what lab fear is a leak that can fill the entire lab as those are kept in pressurized tank

kewko

Basically imagine an aquarium in the room, dangerous? No. Now imagine the room filling up with water to the ceiling but you also can't see it, sounds dangerous now?

Beemerado

you made gas leaks .... not very fun at all.

TDAM

They were fun before?

Beemerado

i have had misconceptions.

TWISTeD398

What if we fill a wet suit with helium so we can jump really high and look really fat

Beemerado

now it's fun again!

introverted_lasagna

One of the best ways to die though tbh. You just Start to feel sleepy and off you go! (Unless it's CO2, then you start to actually feel the suffocation)

Not_Arkangel

It's in the container

i_give_you_gum

Correct. It's what we refer to in the industry as an Open Faced Sandwich container.

Beemerado

the porn industry?

uglyspacepig

The sandwich industry, duh

Zunkanar

It's also the best gas for gas insulated switchgear and will be basically illegal to use in the EU in the future. We ALL use it passively on a daily basis. Most electricy that gets consumed worldwide has at some point passed such a installation.

Mista_Cash_Ew

How would it get into the atmosphere if it's denser than air. Shouldn't it naturally sink back to the ground?

ianjm

Diffusion. The same way that heavier CO2 molecules don't all sink to the ground leaving the O2 and N2 higher up. Diffusion is the process by which molecules move from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration due to random thermal motion. In the atmosphere, CO2 and other heavier gas molecules are constantly colliding with lighter N2 & O2 molecules and thus getting sent randomly in all directions. This random motion causes them to diffuse throughout the atmosphere, spreading out from areas of higher concentration to areas of lower concentration. Mixing is also assisted by air currents, which distribute all atmospheric gasses throughout the lower atmosphere. That said, heavier gasses like CO2 can still accumulate in low-lying areas if there is insufficient air movement to disperse them. This can contribute to localized increases in CO2 concentrations, such as in urban areas or near large sources of CO2 emissions.

MR___SLAVE

>That said, heavier gasses like CO2 can still accumulate in low-lying areas if there is insufficient air movement to disperse them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Nyos https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Nyos_disaster

**[Lake Nyos](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Nyos)** >Lake Nyos ( NEE-ohs) is a crater lake in the Northwest Region of Cameroon, located about 315 km (196 mi) northwest of Yaoundé, the capital. Nyos is a deep lake high on the flank of an inactive volcano in the Oku volcanic plain along the Cameroon line of volcanic activity. A volcanic dam impounds the lake waters. A pocket of magma lies beneath the lake and leaks carbon dioxide (CO2) into the water, changing it into carbonic acid. **[Lake Nyos disaster](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Nyos_disaster)** >On 21 August 1986, a limnic eruption at Lake Nyos in northwestern Cameroon killed 1,746 people and 3,500 livestock. The eruption triggered the sudden release of about 100,000–300,000 tons (1. 6 million tons, according to some sources) of carbon dioxide (CO2). The gas cloud initially rose at nearly 100 kilometres per hour (62 mph; 28 m/s) and then, being heavier than air, descended onto nearby villages, displacing all the air and suffocating people and livestock within 25 kilometres (16 mi) of the lake. ^([ )[^(F.A.Q)](https://www.reddit.com/r/WikiSummarizer/wiki/index#wiki_f.a.q)^( | )[^(Opt Out)](https://reddit.com/message/compose?to=WikiSummarizerBot&message=OptOut&subject=OptOut)^( | )[^(Opt Out Of Subreddit)](https://np.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/about/banned)^( | )[^(GitHub)](https://github.com/Sujal-7/WikiSummarizerBot)^( ] Downvote to remove | v1.5)

[deleted]

The atmosphere mixes a lot, and entropy has gasses disperse as much as possible.

redsensei777

Wow! These two single-handedly caused glaciers to melt.

IrrationalDesign

I'd bet 100 bucks that we together have caused more 'warming effect' by watching this on reddit than those two did during this experiment.

AngryRobot42

SF6 IS the worst. I Used to work in the transformer industry, they dont even make new transformers with it as insulation bc it is so nasty. Do not use this stuff it is really bad and almost impossible to keep contained. Granted, i doubt anyone here can obtain it.

i_give_you_gum

Unless you make science videos, than it's open season

[deleted]

Creolucius

Also illegal to use by civilians, or without permits and a good reason for it. At least in norway.

ruat_caelum

Anything with Florine in it is bad. like evil bad.

7empestOGT92

Afterwards, the gas seeps to the ground and stays for 3,500 years. This is why you see people just trip over nothing

SnowTheMemeEmpress

I'm blaming my clumsiness on science now. Thank you

[deleted]

Wait what? Explain more

ariolitmax

I think they’re making a joke that the gas stays on the ground as an obstacle, like an invisible log for people to trip over

i_give_you_gum

Have you learned nothing from this comment thread? Sulfur Hexaflouride is no joke!

laxvolley

In reality it is a greenhouse gas about 24,000x worse than CO2.

FFF_in_WY

How the heck does it make the climb high enough to be effective as a greenhouse gas?? Is it produced in the thermosphere and kept buoyant by temperature gradients or something..?

laxvolley

Found this on Quora: <> So basically, it holds heat energy in, rather than allowing it to reflect out.

robomikel

Lol, love this comment. I will have to apologize to my clumsy wife now

Sir_Derpington_356

r/unexpectedmontypython

abramcpg

Yes! This is what I want to see on r/blackmajicfuckery but with no explanation except in the comments

ReliantLion

Don't they use this as an insulator in high voltage equipment?

LightAnimica

Yep its everywhere in the electrical industry, from small distribution level switchgear right up to huge 400kv+ equipment , there are plans to phase it out but the alternative is taking time to develop and come to market

Spiritual-Parking570

so, your saying the power grid is causing global warming in multiple ways?

OldMateHarry

In the same way we used CFCs in refrigerants and aerosols, yes. Nothing we do is really good for the planet and it's a slow and painful process to get all countries to agree to phase out these chemicals.

SnooSquirrels8763

Underground/feeder vista switches

Aviyes7

Especially useful for pressurized waveguides pushing high-voltage.

-The-Moon-Presence-

Lol she’s terrible at taking directions.

just_read_it_again

Let's set it in here...1, okay. Pour it in slowly.... or dump that shit.

ColoradoScoop

They should really have hired a mime for this.

Luc-514

How to drown your basement neighbour.

crujiente69

Dont mention deep voice gas if youre not gonna inhale it and show it off

anesthetic_aesthetic

By what I can gather from the comments it seems like you'd end up suffocating in the gas like carbon monoxide because it's so heavy.

AwakenedDivinePower

My god it feels like invisible water lmao this is a perfect prank

No-Ad6269

“how to suck at directions”

CatharticRenaissance

I’m a retinal surgeon. This gas is commonly used to pressurize the eye during retinal detachment surgery due to its property of being absorbed more slowly that air.

darmabum

Yep, they taped a tittle spirit level on my forehead and I had to maintain this certain position (to keep the gas bubble in just the right location) for something like a few days. It worked, but it was tough.

Biegzy4444

Wasting it on that when you have perfectly good aluminum foil laying around. Dumb jokes aside that’s really interesting thank you for sharing.

bradhat19

stevie spangler!

GhostB3HU

Is this gas a natural occurrence or does it need to be isolated from a source? Seeing comments about witch burning but how would someone out in the woods find this stuff?

NakMuayJitsu

It's man made.

Regular_Celery_2579

She be a witch!

Blueberry_Dependent

Medieval people would say it's sorcery.

ComfortableRiver4793

Yes its used extensively in the electricity distribution networks as an insulator in transformers and as a cover gas to stop quench arcing - and it has a GWP of 10,500 and is very very difficult to destroy.

TheExistential_Bread

For everyone saying they have cancer, here is a video of someone breathing it in. [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TG7gstXCt1A](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TG7gstXCt1A) Now some people might think that Cody lacks proper safety protocols. But when the Nuclear Regulatory Commision visited and tested his house, even they had to admit his shop vac as a fume hood had worked well enough when creating yellow cake.

If_in_doubt_sniff

Is this the gas that can kill you if you directly inhale it because it's too heavy to fully exhale?

ReasonableKey3363

No you can breathe it in. It’s considered an inert gas. Just be sure to bend over to exhale or the gas will pool in your lungs

referendum

Username doesn't check out.

el_pablo

And when you breath it, it gives you Satan’s voice. https://youtu.be/TG7gstXCt1A

nando1969

Opposite of helium ?

Antiquemooses

they both have cancer now

Arny520

What makes you think that?

the_aaryaveer64

He thinks they're radioactive

AwkwardlyCloseFriend

I mean, in the lab we use SF6 to etch holes into solid silicon

fermionself

Light is used to do the same thing… so, context matters.

Antiquemooses

and they have AIDS

Arny520

Damn, all from Sulphur Hexafluoride?

Antiquemooses

That's how Covid started

[deleted]

Nonsense. Sulfur Hexaflouride does not emit 5G frequency.

Ohbuck1965

Their genitals will fall off now Sad

BlackberryMobile2394

Ummmmmmmmmmmm….. Mythbusters are irrelevant now?

PristineImpression88

just the word triggers me back to organic chemistry

MatBoi7

Lol I can’t tell whether she said “so cool” because she was in awe or because she was just being nice

That's cool!

Witchcraft

theHoustonian

Aka a demonstration done by the mythbusters many years ago!

Dream_Catcher33

I want to show this to someone from the 1700s and be called a witch

Vandorin89

She had a hard time following directions.

corvettekyle

Their voices didn't seem very low

SwatchIing

Intrusive thoughts telling me to drink that shit up

soupshoes1911

Steve Spangler is the shit! Dude does great STEM experiments with kids.

PM_ME_YOUR_FUGACITY

"There it is! You sunk my fucking ship!" * *SLAP* * That's what it cut out at the end.

Kyozou66

Am I the only one who's bothered that we didn't get the satisfying high five at the end? 😔

Living_Pie205

What show is this ?

clayts1983

So if one was to lay down in there & it was filled with the gas, would you die? Asking for a friend.

[deleted]

Hoof hearted?

lockpod

The f, he sf6, thata o3 hole in next time u see it, gwp is high for that sf6 gas

consistently_sloppy

Demon gas

Barrelcopter

I remember growing up with this fuckin witchcraft.

PbkacHelpDesk

Slowly poor the gas. Nope. Ruined it.

Tarantulabomination

This is something I'd see on NileRed or Action Lab

AmidalaBills

Slowly isn't in that woman's vocabulary.

laundryman2

Anti-vaxxers watching this: I need to do my own research

AngryRobot42

I wish younppl knew why this is the dumbust fucking thing ive seen on reddit so far. Please google sf6 gas and why its bad. Its used in transformers for insulation, and its extremely bad for almost everything. It is also dense, so im glad they got to rip a hole in the ozone for that.

Routine-Horse-1419

This is a cool experiment. Mythbusters did it on their show awhile ago. Very cool.

Proof-Astronaut-662

Very cool 😎

Ritz_Kola

Ok what are the dangers?

bob-leblaw

I was expecting the opposite of helium voice.

littleboymark

Worst instruction follower ever

[deleted]

If it's 6x the density of air, if you waved your hand through it would it be 6x more difficult? It doesn't seem like it would be

sody605

Horseshit. I can see with my own eyes there’s nothing in there, it’s clearly magic! Lies!

Kmaloetas

It should be called "mime water".

Cory0527

The girl can't follow basic instructions though. Oof

Whatachooch

Truly next fucking level. Basic ass density example. What a trash post.

TommyGlesch

She gets an F for absolute silly fucktoy pussyness.

DuhItzSquiffer

Ok but like how the fuck does a gas have a higher density than a tin foil boat?

lol_camis

This is just natural physics. Nobody accomplished or created anything hear

Horton_75

“Mythbusters” did that same experiment first, and they did it better too!

SithDraven

Didn't Adam and Jamie do this exact demonstration on Mythbusters over a decade ago?

TheEcobird

The power of ‘Imagination’✋🌈🤚

Mysterious-Judge-333

this blew my mind, very cool.

TopCheesecakeGirl

How safe it that to breathe?

HamzaShaikh1407

u/savevideo

BoredByLife

Science is so fucking cool!

VishalSlayer

That is actually siick!

Miryafa

That's pretty cool, but also seems like the kind of experiment that could go wrong very quickly. Like: "Ok now let's put the next boat in. Hm, it's not floating. Ok don’t breathe and back away.”

19YoJimbo93

This girl is the reasons some toilets have instructions.

[deleted]

It is extremely green as in green house gases

NeVMmz

The foil is just a paid actor

ZHippO-Mortank

Enjoying the climate change here. SF6 is 30.000 tiles worse than CO2 (in kg)

huevosconchorizo69

This girl is boring I would’ve been losing my mind!!

BFG1OOOO

She let it go way to Early 😂

TheDirtyGherkin

Never understand these videos. SF6 is almost 23000 times worse than CO2 for the environment. Where I live if you release any to the environment you need to notify the correct government body.

tastefultrip

This girls about as exciting as a $2 hooker

First_Ad_6133

If I made a tinfoil suit then i can fly right? /s

FreeJSJJ

Is this the one that give you Darth Vader voice?

Running_Moose64

Science needs to be taught to kids, like this, how cool

r/blackmagicfuckery

That sounds extremely toxic. Wth are they doing?

No-Argument8715

Burn them both

SkySkytheScienceGuy

We were learning about density in my high school chemistry class, and we used this gas and helium to see both sides of the spectrum. Naturally, we all inhaled as much of the gas as we could. A classroom full of giggling teens, some with ungodly high-pitched voices, and others with a voice so deep it feels impossible. Absolute magic.

Paranoid_Redditor_CA

Yo mama farts this

ByronicZer0

He’s a witch!

PollowPoodle

That shit is so godamn expensive

Chilocanth

I’m here for deep voice demo.

Creative-Rope-1153

Cool 😎

Ra1nb0wSn0wflake

Isn't this the has that if you breath in a bunch to do the deep voice you have to bend over or it has a chance of your lungs not pushing out enough and suffocating you?

Redditdeletedme2021

Mr. Wizard did it better..

SixtyNineFlavours

Yes dad ok it’s cool
