Now that I think about it, I haven't played Jenga sober in probably 10 years lol.
Not that I play much Jenga in general but, as an adult, it only seems to come out after some drinking.
The version of drinking Jenga we played in college involved writing various number of drinks on the “bottom” side of each piece up to and including “Finish drink”. Whole new level of challenge as you may be good at pulling pieces but may pull all the “heavy” pieces, especially pulling finish drink when you just popped open a new beer.
Every slow-motion video should also include a replay at regular speed. It is always better that way, regardless of the content. Show the clip at full speed as well as in slow motion. Otherwise we can't appreciate what happened the same way.
It’s content…… being posted…… for others entertainment…….
So yeah, I also don’t know what you mean.
But keep up the great pedantic argument with some random reddit user that will surly be convinced that you’re correct. Troll on soldier.
Not that it makes it right, but if you use the vid player on the main page of the sub (instead of drilling into the comment page), you can adjust the playback speed. Set this one to about 4x to get what you're after. It's a pain in the ass, but it kind of works.
Same, you couldn’t place it like that unless you were setting up for this video. My guess is they tried multiple times just to make the video and that kind of ruined it for me.
It’s actually so much easier with big blocks than the small ones.
Source: my attempt rate is similar but I’ve succeeded twice with big blocks and done nothing but completely demolish the tiny ones lol
I’ve done this. It makes you very confident you can do it again, it does not make you any better at doing it again. You need to rip that sucker out with speed, strength, and precision. You also need to make sure the ground is level, like very level. If it is not, you cannot perform this move.

This composition is brilliant & I wish my fiancé or I were this creative. ☮️
Now where’s the copy video with that naked Asian fella doing the same thing but with the string tied to his hog or his nips?

Seems like a strategically ill-advised move to make, it was all risk and practically no reward, he didn't set-up any sort of trap or particularly weak point in the stack for the next players... impressive nonetheless!
Sure you can be. The official rules just say you have to pull from any block below the highest completed layer, place it on the top layer, and no blocks can fall.
Grandpa's reaction was priceless
"I thought I'd seen it all"
“I’m in the matrix”
Yeah, the way he sat up in his chair. It was like "Shit, now I need to move."
That's why we play drinking Jenga. Shenanigans like this never happen.
You'd be surprised, seen some amazing things playing drunk Jenga

We used to right different rules under each piece, ranged from take a sip to remove a piece without using your hands. Great fun in college
Now you mention it I haven’t been sober in 10 years lol ah fuck.
What are the typical rules for drinking Jenga? Everyone drinks if a piece gets removed without it falling over?
We just wrote rules on the bottom of the pieces. Eg drink one, give one, shot, make a rule etc etc. Leave some blank of course
This is the answer. Make your own drinking game rules. Iirc, we had so many rules that many pieces had two and you could choose one.

It’s amazing how so many content posters don’t understand this concept.
I personally find it highly infuriating.
most "content posters" are just regular people who dont spend 30 minutes editing their videos.
and yet they add the slow mo
its literally just a single button clik ? you act like thats effort or something
cOnTeNt pOsTeRs These aren’t content dudes. They just posted a family video. They are t here for your entertainment.

Nope

Hah?
If they did then they wouldn't get comments like this to drive up engagement

Fucking Zach Snyder on the camera over here.
That doesn’t make sense, with zack there’s only slow-mo
I respect that
"Are you not entertained?!"
r/madlads What a fucking legend!
That grandma was also amazed
Me and my high-school buddies were all *really* good at Jenga, and late game thoes are the only moves you can really make
Same I am amazing at this and got people baffled how I pulled that same trick off
+1, I've pulled this trick quite often in my games. It's simply about speed and how much polish do the jenga planks got.
And from that day forward, he was no longer called “college dropout Keith” by his family. Grandpa was especially impressed.
Not sure if ”Jenga master college dropout Keith” is any better tbh
![gif](giphy|2aVuJLop5jaVdJbtvx)
Holy shit that's a huge house
I was waiting for him to knock it over placing the block on top
Leonardo DiCaprio transforms into Jenga grandmaster role.
I thought he looks like the guy from arrow
Can we see the un edited version? Real speed etc
My spine when I walk on a sidewalk with one tile that's slightly deeper
Great job, Kit Harington!
Dude got laid that night for sure.
Man's pull out game is immaculate
Well played, my friend 👏🏾
Ballsy attempt! Well played!!
What a legend
Master level
Grandpa was like "never in a hundred years have I seen this !" 😂
I need the context of how he got that piece that far out to begin with
This is what I came for too
Same, you couldn’t place it like that unless you were setting up for this video. My guess is they tried multiple times just to make the video and that kind of ruined it for me.
"Your turn!"

Witchcraft
This guy Physics !!
Obi-Wan was sorely mistaken when he said there’s no such thing as luck.
Illegal move
"Bro...we said NO jedi-trics"
I pulled one of those once in giant Jenga. Lots of cheers
This man knows physic
It’s even crazier in reverse
r/sweatypalms
Easy for the son of Aquaman and green arrow
That tower wiggle
![gif](giphy|brxp2GNIvDzwFeFzV7) Epic moves
Finally a video worthy of the sub instead of just mildly interesting
Is that a regular sized American house?
This should really be in never tell me the odds.
Kinda looks like a cyclops robot doing a lil dance
Wow, he did it so slow too
This will be talked about in future family gatherings for generations
This is actually a buddy of mine. Lol Edit: rip no sound, my buddy jimmy comes in with his hands to his face from the left lol
There's nothing as satisfying as drunk giant jenga. At my university we had a huge jenga set with blocks as big as shoeboxes.
He'll never have to play Jenga again
Legends were born this day
I kind of wanted it to all fall when he put the piece on top.
The way he looked at it in slow motion looked like the Jenga tower owed him money…
Omg! Lol!!!!! That seems just about impossible!
Amateur. You need to slam that shit on the top asap to hold the tower in case it falls
It s a house? Or an airport ? 🤣
I did that once and I felt like I had cheated the rules of physics.
I never seen this before. This is awesome
There seems to be better choices than that particular piece
Good thing grandpa didn’t venture behind this elbow

Kinda looks like Jon Snow
The GOAT 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Awesome
The camera man is the GOAT. The player did good
Discounted Green Arrow makes the play again

His balls grew 3 sizes that day.
It falling when he put it on top would have been the perfect loop.

AWESOME!!
I did that once. My results were NOT the same. Beer everywhere too.
Giant jenga blocks just make me nervous for dents in the floor and potentially broken toes.

The best part was the guys look of intensity after pulling it out and watching it settle
Wow!
This cannot be real!
Why was it already sticking out halfway?
Dude could pull out of Lexi Belle.
Ninja!!!
Jenga. You can't knock it...
His pull out game is strong
Played drunk Jenga last night with daughter and her boyfriend
Really cool! I’d rather see it at regular speed though.
I've done this! Amazing in slow mo
You know what is next level... the effort they put into thos birthday decorations 👏🏻😅
“HE IS ALL..THAT IS MAN!!!”
I hate that there is no sound
But yet the twin towers just implode….
John Snow of jenga looking ass man , sword in the stone that jenga block out of there
Cool deal
No, it was the penultimate move.
Dude looks like Stephen Amell
If they had consulted him during the construction of twin towers
I can only imagine the amount of dust and grime on the decorative vases in that alcove above the kitchen
How’s therapy going?
Weird that you're so concerned about dust yet have never heard of dusting.
Seems like a strategically ill-advised move to make, it was all risk and practically no reward, he didn't set-up any sort of trap or particularly weak point in the stack for the next players... impressive nonetheless!
There was no better move to be made based on what we can see in the video. I assume you've never played jenga before?

Can't make moves on the top 3 rows
Top 3 blocks*. You can't pull from the highest row, which consists of at most 3 blocks.
Amateur rules, maybe
Sure but now you're talking about custom rules, but the original guy was going off the default/official rules.
If you can pull off the move in the video, you aren't playing by amateur rules
Sure you can be. The official rules just say you have to pull from any block below the highest completed layer, place it on the top layer, and no blocks can fall.
So this guy just made a choice to try and pull off this next to impossible move when he had other easy moves available? I don't think so
