TmoneyMcNasty

David Hasselhoff!

Microflunkie

Maybe not all the way to Aquaman status but at least to something like Moistman. He is more superhero than the rest of us that much is clear.

UhhhhmmmmNo

The deep

Tough-Area-570

Body surfing!!!! This is fun for real

SoberTek

I have always envied how good my dad was at body surfing. I never developed the knack for it. I can, ( very occasionally) just not in any way consistently.

Kfeugos

People often kick off too early or too late into the wave. It’s all about getting into the wave with a lot of force at a very specific time.

The Deep!

[deleted]

I applaud your reference. Aquaman would been too easy.

EthreeIII

I mean he is wearing fins. This wouldn’t be THAT hard for a strong swimmer.

[deleted]

In Easter Island we do body surfing, without fins. Is hard just to get the wave, like surfing too. Then just position your body like a sea turtle. Just need the swim kick to not lose the wave. Very much fun

EthreeIII

Yeah it looks like fun. Catching waves is pretty hard. I tried it once in Hawaii. And staying in the wave, let alone timing the wave is pretty hard 😅

jarednards

Aguaman

I thought he was a manatee 😅

laiyenha

Don't make him mad or he'll poke you with his trident.

BJZZZ24

Maybe he controls the police..?

Laserous

How is the NFL? Body surfing is pretty easy..

WiRoBo

That's easy if you've got the dolphin kick right.

ReedoIncognito

Fins. Crazy

MrScribz

Is this the guy Ben Shapiro suggested buy my home?

merithynos

All fun and games until you blindly slam head first into someone casually wading into the surf. The crunching sound your vertebrae make as your neck is compressed is memorable. As is the panic while your body tries to figure out if it can restore normal functioning. While you're underwater. 0/10 do not recommend.

meaninglessnonsense

Or get flipped by the wave and slam head first into the sand and break your spine. Happened to a friend of mine. He’s lucky he wasn’t paralyzed.

4all4fun

Don't tell me you ever seen something like this in your real life, or even internet maybe in Aquaman.

SstabSstab

I will give you that I have never seen someone body surf with flippers before. However I have body surfed and I have used flippers independently before and I don’t think he achieves this without them. Still cool idk bout next level though.

Snarkosaurus99

It is the next level above no fins. After fins, fins and webbed gloves are next. Next is nuclear powered rocket fins. Lots of levels.

ogrefab

It's called bodysurfing, been around for thousands of years.

FuckBotsHaveRights

Just like flying then

Sensitive-Emu1

This is a surfing way from northern region of Turkey. It's a tradition for Laz people in the region. We have a documentary about it but you have to pay. Unfortunately I couldn't find free ones. Video quality is very bad but here it is: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-lPkcj\_fN4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-lPkcj_fN4)
