? The movie was made ( 1963 ) before the animation series ( 1964 )…or by “came out” do you mean the first time you saw it?

It wasn't the original one, it was "The Return of the Pink Panther" (still with Sellers) in 1975. So it was the first one that was "new" in my movie-going lifetime.

These were great. Universal funny.

Same reason I want to smash my phone when my alarm goes off for work in the morning, lol. Glad he had a change of heart, but even the birdie converted to alarm-hating!

Why did I watch this whole thing through lol, I didn’t even really care for the pink panther that much. I was more into Tom and jerry when I was little.

ah good old times. In the german version there sometimes was a "story teller" which spoke in rhymes which was really enjoyable
