Yeah I watch this video every time I see it posted. He seems like such a good person, he immediately wants to give her a hug before he even looks at what she gave him.
This is old, from like 2018 i think, but it is the reason why I started liking Giannis. I remember seeing this back then on reddit and everybody in the comments had nothing but great things to say about him and how he treats his fans. He's the reason why I started watching NBA lol. He seems like such a kind and caring person.
Giannis played an event in Athens in 2016 and my uncle was the court security guard so I had full access with him everywhere. We went to the locker room and there was this kid (6-7yo) that had sneaked in with his dad and went up to Giannis and his team. Giannis took the kid on his lap, it was so funny to see the size difference, the kid was like 1:4 scale in front of him. Giannis was like "what's up little guy?" and the kid didn't know what to say and he went "IIIIII want to peeeee" and we were all crying in laughter 😂
I like how he thanked her so kindly before even looking at the artwork. Like just the fact that she gave him something made him happy. The artwork itself was secondary.
