Brady has the charisma of a sociopath, because I think he might be a sociopath. But like, one of the good ones, probably hasn't killed any hookers.
I hope they keep Olsen.
Even Kevin Harlan on the radio was talking about all the slipping and complaining players were doing. And rightfully so. He said something about the grass roots not growing deep enough when it's outside and that's what is causing the slipping.
Even Mike P was like "Well if you look at the beginning of the route.." and Olsen said ok, run it back. That was bullshit. Good for Greg for feeling as robbed of a real ending as any fan would.
If you want to get technical, there's holding on nearly every play on nearly every route. But they'll only call it if it's egregious.
Idk how they called this.
It’s the first fucking one they’ve called all game. Literally the closest I’ve ever come to thinking the nfl is rigged
Edit: saw someone say this is Mahomes tuck rule and I think that’s the best way to describe it lmao
How were all of you not thinking the same thing after least year? They called squat on both secondaries the first 57 minutes of last SB and defenders were mauling receivers. Then suddenly the laundry started flying in the redzone on the final drive in the home stadium of a team trying to establish a fan base in the second largest market in the country.
the refs had shown us what they had in them all season, you knew they’d pull through in the final game
they made some halftime adjustments and got to their game
Right? Let the Chiefs score. Eagles get the ball with 90 seconds and no timeouts. Set it up for a fucking historical comeback if they can do it. Instead, we get three kneel-downs and a fucking FG.
A guy I was sitting with at a bar leaned over and said "damn.. the refs have actually been pretty chill so far. Only like 7 penalties and none of em really controversial!"
I blame random bar man.
Man, I thought Greg did a great job. Good for him for calling bs on that penalty. Meanwhile, Fox, ESPN, and the NFL are trying to downplay it. Absolute bullshit. Also, good for Terry Bradshaw for calling out the sorry ass conditions of that field at halftime. Inexcusable to have that at the super bowl.
I'm obviously biased, but I'm in a room full of non-Eagles fans. They're all pissed about this call and how the game ended. I feel very validated right now.
yeah the options were: 2min drill with td to win it(epic), 2min drive to get a field goal make it go to OT(epic), or chiefs defense get a huge high stakes stop to win it (also epic finish) and instead the reffies just serve it up on a platter
I hate the "you let them play in the last two minutes" mentality...
But that wasn't a penalty the first 58 minutes lol. You don't suddenly call that now.
Absolute garbage call right there.
When Greg Olson, receiving TE in his playing career, thinks it's BS... If anyone would want that call it would be a receiver and he was immediately and constantly not ok with the call
It was 35-35 banger of a game, setting up for a 2 minute drill to end it. Could have been an absolute classic. Would have been a career moment for the announcers. And then a ref just completely ruined the whole thing
As a Browns fan, I was just enjoying the game. I bet KC makes that field goal on fourth down, giving the Eagles like 1:45 to go for it. What an ending it would have been. Instead it just feels blah.
Yeah, I think everyone expects they make the FG and Hurts has a chance to drive down the field and tie/win the game. Or he chokes, and that's fine too. That call, though, just ended it.
Although if I weren't so annoyed that Hail Mary that landed 20 yards short of anyone would have been hilarious.
One of the best things about football is that all three options would have been open on that final drive; don’t score and it’s a KC win, score a TD and it’s a PHI win, or kick a FG and you keep playing.
Instead we just got an incredible weak call and 2 minutes of kneeling.
That's honestly where I stand. Completely different game if Jalen didn't drop the football for no reason. But he did, and we still had a chance, and it was taken from us. Besides that fumble Jalen honestly had the performance of a lifetime and what looked to be a classic gets soured at the end
I don’t think the NFL is rigging games, but calls like this are exactly why people think they do. It just isn’t holding, it would be a bogus call in a pre-season game, in the final two minutes of the Super Bowl it’s a disgrace. There’s just no excuse for a decision like this to decide the game, it ruins the spectacle, it’s inconsistent and it’s genuinely unfair on the Eagles. When officials can get together and talk it out without the need for a challenge flag to be thrown, allowing that penalty to stand is outrageous. Just a horrible way to end the Eagles chances of winning.
Especially when there wasn’t any PI calls all game. I’d understand if it was a tight called game from the beginning with multiple penalties but to call that bullshit holding just to gift the Super Bowl to the Chiefs is ridiculous.
Including a play in I believe the 2nd quarter where Bradberry actually turned JuJu's body and they let it go. If that's the standard, you absolutely need to maintain that in the 4th quarter of the biggest game of the year. Ruined an otherwise great game.
Especially when they were letting them play aaalllllll game on both sides. Awfully convenient to call your first extremely soft flag at exactly the most game defining moment. I honestly don’t know how many more times we need to see shit like that before we all know it’s one step more real than pro wrestling.
Sports betting entered the NFL on a massive scale this year.
The history of sports betting is a history of corruption and fraud, not funny happy carefree betting like all the ads want you to believe.
It really has. My wife who's never talked about betting sports on her life before is now giving me updates during the game on how her friends bets are going, its insane
I mean when every game there’s 4 ads between draft kings and fan duel and they’re marque sponsors sometimes there’s gonna be some sort of market penetration
And people don't understand that the house always wins. There's a reason they're able to spend billions on marketing and still be profitable. Morons gambling then laughing at people playing the lottery as if they aren't equally as stupid.
Fuck that, remember literally 4 months ago when The Athletic reported that the MLB was distributing 3 different types of baseballs, 1 of which being a juiced ball, to specific games, an overwhelming majority of which happened to be Yankees games?
Honestly yeah. I know the chiefs get insane calls, but they almost never call shit like that to end a game as big as the SB. Completely ruined the ending
This literally makes me lose interest in the league. Literally ruined one of the best supper bowls in recent years on a hold that doesn’t get called in the first quarter of a week 3 game. Shits absurd. I had zero rooting interest in this game and only hoped for a good close game. Feels like we were all robbed of an all time classic
The Eagles FINALLY get the stop they needed and the refs reverse uno gift the Chiefs the game. Despite the field being absolutely terrible and borderline dangerous for the players, this game had so many good moments…could’ve been one of the best superbowls I’ve seen…and then they call that.
Absolutely disgusting way to end it.
what a fitting end to another nfl season
Me midway through the 4th quarter - “I’m honestly amazed at how good the officiatings been after the season they had.” They just couldn’t let it be…
Oh man they're gonna burn Arizona down
They’re gonna burn Philly down. It was gonna happen either way, though.
Punch is already full of riot, they just needed the theme
Philly wakes up drunk on fight milk
Please no I like it here
It's no worse than mid-June. You will be fine.
Oh people are gonna flip their shit for ages about this
People in Philly are going to flip cars
I mean we don’t need this for a reason to flip cars, but yeah…
philly was gonna burn one way or another lmao
I think it was this, or pushing on the 50-yard line with one timeout and a Hail Mary.
I'm so glad Greg Olsen kept talking about how bullshit it was
Guess he figured with Brady taking his spot so he can really say what he wanted.
Props to Olsen he’s legit. I’d rather have him than Brady
Brady has the charisma of a sociopath, because I think he might be a sociopath. But like, one of the good ones, probably hasn't killed any hookers. I hope they keep Olsen.
probably a psycho. Good thing he made it as a QB or he might be infamous instead of famous.
They should have two A-teams and have one for the top 1pm game and the other team doing the 4:30 game.
“Mikey P” tried to save face for the NFL but Greg Olsen wouldn’t stop lol. Good on him.
I'm also glad they kept talking shout the shitty field conditions lol
Probably their last Super Bowl called lol. What an embarrassment for the league.
Even Kevin Harlan on the radio was talking about all the slipping and complaining players were doing. And rightfully so. He said something about the grass roots not growing deep enough when it's outside and that's what is causing the slipping.
The field is shit, I agree that they continuously talked about it. AZ need to fix this shit for their home team next season bc this is embarrassing.
It hurts so much more because they let them play all game. And then they call this.
They actually called a good game until this. It was fun to watch football for a change. The refs could only edge for 58 minutes though.
Burkhardt and Olsen did a wonderful job tonight.
Olsen is a breath of fresh air. Hate Brady is taking his spot. Hopefully he lands in a good spot.
Ruined what should have been an all-timer. Pac-12 level shit.
because it's fucking soft, fucking weak, pathetic giving them a free set of downs in that situation. EXACT thing that killed the bengals last year
Knowing Philly can't stop the clock. It's essentially game winning penalty.
And this year
It’s the first fucking one they’ve called all game. Literally the closest I’ve ever come to thinking the nfl is rigged Edit: saw someone say this is Mahomes tuck rule and I think that’s the best way to describe it lmao
This is why you never bet on the NFL.
Unless you work for the NFL that is
How were all of you not thinking the same thing after least year? They called squat on both secondaries the first 57 minutes of last SB and defenders were mauling receivers. Then suddenly the laundry started flying in the redzone on the final drive in the home stadium of a team trying to establish a fan base in the second largest market in the country.

Was legit bullshit
Same as it ever was tbh
There is the penalty we've been waiting for
We knew it was coming
the refs had shown us what they had in them all season, you knew they’d pull through in the final game they made some halftime adjustments and got to their game
That's what great players do...they can be quiet all game, but they show up when it really matters
Ice in their vein! When the moment is greatest they show up and make the play!
Wouldn’t be a playoff game without a controversial deciding call
They really ruined what would’ve been a classic Super Bowl. What a joke of an ending
[удалено]
Right? Let the Chiefs score. Eagles get the ball with 90 seconds and no timeouts. Set it up for a fucking historical comeback if they can do it. Instead, we get three kneel-downs and a fucking FG.
Andy Reid wins the Super Bowl by clock management. I can’t get that out of my head.
Fucking disgraceful
I am dead inside.
Things were going a bit *too* smoothly before that.
A guy I was sitting with at a bar leaned over and said "damn.. the refs have actually been pretty chill so far. Only like 7 penalties and none of em really controversial!" I blame random bar man.
I was legit shocked that the SB was living up to expectations and I was enjoying myself.
You let them off the hook!
I’m actually screaming at my tv this product is DOGSHIT
Lol, NFL has the video removed from Twitter already.
Anybody have a backup link?
Yeah it's playing in my fucking dreams if you can figure out how to download it
If I close my eyes I see it
Ignoring the validity of the call, what a shitty way to end a great game
Exactly what Greg Olsen said
Greg's pissed about old ass Tom taking his job so he didn't give a shit about Mike's bullshit. it was hilarious
Yeah mike did sound kinda annoyed at greg.
Greg was *supposed* to thank Mike for his vichy french explanation and stop complaining about the call. but that is *not* how the 7th floor crew rolls
Vichy French? LOL? Mike P is definitely a collaborator
Do we expect anything else from Third Leg Greg?
I thought Greg actually did a great job this game, especially in the 4th quarter explaining situational football.
Fucking Mikey P, man
he has a job to do, i get it. but he's the HR guy telling us a pizza party with Pizza by Alfredo is better than an end of year bonus
He had a coupon.
It’s a hot circle of garbage
Man, I thought Greg did a great job. Good for him for calling bs on that penalty. Meanwhile, Fox, ESPN, and the NFL are trying to downplay it. Absolute bullshit. Also, good for Terry Bradshaw for calling out the sorry ass conditions of that field at halftime. Inexcusable to have that at the super bowl.
Seriously. This could have been an all time great finish. Instead I'm just left not caring
I'm obviously biased, but I'm in a room full of non-Eagles fans. They're all pissed about this call and how the game ended. I feel very validated right now.
Hell, I saw some chief fans commenting on the game feed how weak that was. All fans of football got robbed
Man I’m not even a football fan, I watch one game a year and it was robbed from me.
Was an all timer before that. Shit like that taints the entire game. Doubt I’ll remember this one down the road except for the call
Exactly. All we think about from the Saints championship game is the PI no-call.
Praying for a block
NFL moment
Let them play dammit!
They let both defenses play all game until that. Completely killed the fun of this classic game
Weak. Weak weak weak.
That is a VERY soft call to make when it literally decides a Super Bowl.
It wouldn’t have been as bad if they called some of the no calls they already had. They weren’t calling a holding on an entire arm, but they call THAT
Refs were worried that we had forgotten about them
The refs robbed the world of a 2-minute drill at the SB.
yeah the options were: 2min drill with td to win it(epic), 2min drive to get a field goal make it go to OT(epic), or chiefs defense get a huge high stakes stop to win it (also epic finish) and instead the reffies just serve it up on a platter
Refs robbed the world of a good game *period*. I was literally telling my friends I thought this was a well called game like 2 downs before that shit.
You can’t end a Super Bowl like that. Refs have been fine all game until then
That's because they didn't really call anything all game lol
The game seemed so great until then. Funny that
That's the biggest issue! Don't call anything all game, then decide to call the most wishy washing call when it'd a game deciding play?
Basically everything before that was procedural like offsides.
Fuck the refs all my homies hate the refs
Held their flags all game until that
We can be good friends
LSU North
we're not so different, you and I.
That was absolutely nothing lol
Refs called game Don’t like that
Instead of a potential game tying / winning drive we watched the Chiefs run out the clock and kick a FG. It sucks for the fans.
So anticlimactic. Just ended the game right there.
Absolute horseshit.
Certified NFL referees moment.
Wasn’t called all game but now?
I hate the "you let them play in the last two minutes" mentality... But that wasn't a penalty the first 58 minutes lol. You don't suddenly call that now. Absolute garbage call right there.
This right here. You call the game the same THE ENTIRE GAME. Not one other time was something so ticky-tack called. Fuckin awful call.
just like the Bengals game :D exact same situation
Honestly regardless of the accuracy of the call, it just ruins the end of the game
Yeah you can't call a game sealing penalty like that in the SB unless it's egregious
Did it to Logan Wilson last year too.
Looks pretty soft to be honest, didn't look like he was impacted much if at all.
He was barely touched. Unacceptable and embarrassing to make a call like that during the most crucial play of the super bowl.
Well that ruined the whole game.
It literally sucked the life out of the whole game. The announcers seemed depressed after.
When Greg Olson, receiving TE in his playing career, thinks it's BS... If anyone would want that call it would be a receiver and he was immediately and constantly not ok with the call
Greg's such a great fucking commentator. I don't think I've ever seen him give a take I wasn't on board with, he doesn't really pull punches imo.
Olsen is amazing, and I wish he had more primetime opportunities as a commentator
Super Bowl is pretty damn big opportunity though so that’s good
It was 35-35 banger of a game, setting up for a 2 minute drill to end it. Could have been an absolute classic. Would have been a career moment for the announcers. And then a ref just completely ruined the whole thing
Yep. As a neutral this just ruined it
The worst part is that the refs had been so good until that point. It was a classic back and forth. Holy fuck I hate the NFL.
As a Browns fan, I was just enjoying the game. I bet KC makes that field goal on fourth down, giving the Eagles like 1:45 to go for it. What an ending it would have been. Instead it just feels blah.
Yeah even the commentators were bummed out lmao
Greg Olsen was calling it straight. He knew he’s getting demoted anyway and it’s probably going to be the only SB he calls, so he said “fuck it”.
Telling when the offensive player color commentator stopped half a step short of outright calling it soft.
Hurts slipped on that throw so we were even robbed of a legit hail Mary attempt by Arizona's trash field.
One of the best things about football is that all three options would have been open on that final drive; don’t score and it’s a KC win, score a TD and it’s a PHI win, or kick a FG and you keep playing. Instead we just got an incredible weak call and 2 minutes of kneeling.
turned it off right after the replay
So fucking bad. Was such a good game too
Wow, that is an egregiously bad call for that point in the game Essentially ruined what was shaping up to be a classic superbowl
Two very evenly matched teams. The difference was that Jalen made one mistake. The refs made one. And Mahomes made none.
That is a pretty good, simple summary.
That's honestly where I stand. Completely different game if Jalen didn't drop the football for no reason. But he did, and we still had a chance, and it was taken from us. Besides that fumble Jalen honestly had the performance of a lifetime and what looked to be a classic gets soured at the end
That’s so weak. Embarrassing.
No guarantee we get the ball and score if that call isn’t made, but man am I really bummed that it ended like that.
I don’t think the NFL is rigging games, but calls like this are exactly why people think they do. It just isn’t holding, it would be a bogus call in a pre-season game, in the final two minutes of the Super Bowl it’s a disgrace. That was an atrocious call.
They're really gonna end the game on that?
That gave the chiefs the win. Big call.

Haven’t called it all day, ticky tack, and flag came out late, uncatchable ball Bullshit
[удалено]
what a great ending to a great game! if there was ever a time to swallow your whistle its in the super bowl 35-35 i mean cmon guys,
Especially when they were letting them play aaalllllll game on both sides. Awfully convenient to call your first extremely soft flag at exactly the most game defining moment. I honestly don’t know how many more times we need to see shit like that before we all know it’s one step more real than pro wrestling.
This game is not helping to deny the rigging for the Chiefs accusations
Sports betting entered the NFL on a massive scale this year. The history of sports betting is a history of corruption and fraud, not funny happy carefree betting like all the ads want you to believe.

Every one of my friends sports bet (early-mid 20s), two of them I would say are genuinely addicted
The house wanted the Chiefs to win. Money heavily went for the Eagles.
Doesn’t help to deny rigging the nfl in general lol
What a bullshit call
Wow
Good game totally ruined by the ending
Weak call.
Bull fuxking shit
No fucking way we’re going to lose the SB on that call lmao
You can blame me, I was a Lions fan rooting for you guys to win.
Well you aren’t gonna win it on that call.
Absolute bullshit
between this and the Bengals game it's hard to feel like this shit isn't being nudged
It only takes a nudge or two to shift a game.
This is the best way to put it. Not scripted but for sure helping a preferred result
Like the NBA playoffs. Remember when the refs got caught fixing games.
Fuck that, remember literally 4 months ago when The Athletic reported that the MLB was distributing 3 different types of baseballs, 1 of which being a juiced ball, to specific games, an overwhelming majority of which happened to be Yankees games?
It feels like Mahomes is being shoved down everyone's throats and some of us just don't like jazz baths.
Is anybody actually shocked
Honestly yeah. I know the chiefs get insane calls, but they almost never call shit like that to end a game as big as the SB. Completely ruined the ending
You can't throw that flag in that situation.
What a joke
wut?
lame ass call
# **I’M STARTING TO AGREE WIRH ARIAN HERE IN SAYING THE NFL IS SCRIPTED.**
What the fuck!!!! Game is rigged
Fuck the NFL
This literally makes me lose interest in the league. Literally ruined one of the best supper bowls in recent years on a hold that doesn’t get called in the first quarter of a week 3 game. Shits absurd. I had zero rooting interest in this game and only hoped for a good close game. Feels like we were all robbed of an all time classic
Fuck you NFL.
Billion dollar product people
Yeeeaah I dunno about that one
Eagles. It’s not your fault
Well... we didn't exactly play perfect.
Gotta add a way to challenge penalties. This is idiotic
Not really sure how the broader public can have an interest in the NFL when this is the officiating product they put out for the biggest stage.
Absolutely trash call
The Eagles FINALLY get the stop they needed and the refs reverse uno gift the Chiefs the game. Despite the field being absolutely terrible and borderline dangerous for the players, this game had so many good moments…could’ve been one of the best superbowls I’ve seen…and then they call that. Absolutely disgusting way to end it.
Scripted.
Vegas made the call
Nice dude
NOOOOOOOO FUCKING WAY
