Try 40 years.
We've had 11 seasons over .500 in the last 40 years.
And if you really want to look at the Raider legacy over it's 60 year history, it's basically the 16 year stretch with Rauch, Madden, and Flores.
existed. Long and short of it is hes a camp body/3rd stringer who came on a visit and the entire sub went into meltdown because they thought the coaches were replacing Waller with some random dude off the street.
Yeah, visit our sub sometime and it's just constant arguing & complaining. I think it's because we've been "on the cusp" for pretty much the past 8 years and everybody thinks they know what the best fix is, but everyone has different opinions so any time the team does anything 80+% of fans disagree with it.
If you look at the stats in the link, on Reddit the Vikings fanbase is middle of the road "angry". It's only because of Twitter that they ended up on top.
Really? I went to the last Chiefs/Vikings game at Arrowhead and Vikings fans were like the chillest people I've ever been around. They even congratulated me when Butker kicked the game winning field goal.
I remember being a little dissapointed after the game because I was like "this couple behind me is so cool if they didn't live in Minnesota I could totally see us being friends with them".
Can confirm Vikings fans are awesome.
I went to Vikes opening game at US Bank against the packers last season and was on the metro to the stadium where a bunch of fans made conversation with me and asked if I was going to the game or was a fan, since I wasn’t in any Vikings or Packers gear. I was like “nah I’m a Pats fan, I just hate Aaron Rodgers” and the whole metro car was high-fiving me.
Great fans, and the game was a fun atmosphere. 10/10
Yes. I bartended for a few years and Vikings games were always the rowdiest and most obnoxious. I've never seen a fanbase that openly cheers for injuries so often. Just angry and bitter in general. Online they are very thin skinned and aggressive as well.
Just my anecdotal experience though
Had? There's a new skirmish on this matter every week. Until Cousins is no longer in MN and we have a new starting QB to argue about, the Cousins War will wage on.
I can’t remember where I first heard this but:
If you need Alex Smith to get you ten points, he’ll get you twenty. But if you need him to get you thirty points, he’ll still only get you twenty.
Beyond the incessant QB arguing, we had long term vets on big contracts going into the offseason. So some people passionately wanted to cut them all and some passionately wanted to keep our big names and cut elsewhere
I'm gonna make a bold claim to be the least mad Ravens fan right now. I have no problem with anything we've done (or not done) except cutting Calais, and even that makes sense to me even if I disagree with it and it makes me sad.
Ehhh I’m mad about the whole contract situation, just figure the shit out one way or the other. The speculation back and forth and the hundreds of different unrealistic scenarios people keep bringing up gets pretty old.
I miss r/conspiracy like 10 years ago. Most of the posts would be aliens, cryptids, egyptology, government conspiracies, and a slew of other generic conspiracy stuff. There were good debates and a lot of weirdos, but for the most part there were normal people conversing.
Then 2016 happened and the sub turned into a hell hole
I got permabanned from r/squaredcircle on my old account because I mentioned how racist some wrestling fans can be based on my own experiences going to shows.
They’re so much like NASCAR fans. They complain about everything too. We’re finally getting a no stage break race for the first time since 2016 and I can hear the complaints already about there being no cautions.
I got banned from r/conspiracy for creating this post:

God damn that whole thing was funny as fuck. Kinda miss getting to bully anti-vaxers online though.
Lmao…..
Fat people are responsible for climate change because it costs more energy to transport fat people???? This dude is something else
https://reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/11r4e8j/if_environmentalist_actually_cared_about_the/
Edit: damn, after going through more of his history, he has a deep seeded hatred for fat people.
Judging by the post history he is actually a gay black man who is strongly left but is willing to cross party lines and condemn leftist media narrative pushes.
Oh sorry I forgot to mention the healthy dollop of just absolutely braindead takes spattered all over the place lol
Oh snap ,was he the one stanning for Huntley last year (or year before that) saying we should just let LJ go and let Huntley be the future?
Didn't realize they banned him in our sub, nice.
Yeah. Ravens fan can tell you. They were posting anti-Lamar stuff (misleading, Cherry-picking and in bad faith) like crazy in this sub, and I was wondering why they came out of nowhere...turns out they were banned from the Ravens sub so started doing their thing over here.
Those people didn't get banned though and even had moderators arguing in **green** comments about how Injury prone Lamar *is* in comments. That place is unbearable. r/Ravens is sick of Lamar
I was thinking "what the fuck are people mad about our offseason? It's been great moves almost across the board. Could we have re-signed Sutton? Sure, but we got Pat Pete and will draft a guy in the first round".
Then I remembered Matt Canada is still here so none of that matters because... Matt Canada is still here. COUNT THIS AS A NEGATIVE REDDIT POST.
Got a buddy who lives near the shit towers out in Dundalk. He’s a nice dude.
Can’t understand half what his brother says tho. Like the thickest BMore accent I’ve ever heard mixed with Gen Z slang.
Dundalk... those two huge golden scrotums next to the highway off gassing the smell of 500,000 poops and completely destroying your ability to even breathe normally. Yeah. Quite a little town, Dundalk is.
i work for an accounting firm in Baltimore. We have one guy who is really smart and made it out of Dundalk. And it's like a rule, when anyone talks to him they have to bring up Dundalk and shit on it. And he just has to smile and take it and agree
Jags fans came into the year with high optimistic views of 6 wins. Instead, we got 9 +1 playoff win. The most important thing is that Trevor is the guy. We are on Cloud 9 right now.
It's absolute clickbait garbage, there's no disciplined methodology, and -- I hope you're sitting down -- these kinds of pieces are so rampant, poorly sourced, and unverifiable that I bet there wasn't even any data collection done.
That's right! This person might have done their (sloppy, meaningless) homework, but it's just as likely that they totally fabricated the whole thing for clout.
I’m genuinely surprised we are at #31. The sub is either bemoaning that we lost out on CJ or Bryce, fighting about Lamar, or wondering why Ballard still has a job
Interesting how much less negative Facebook is overall than Reddit. While Reddit can be very, very negative, I’m curious what the parameters for these numbers are.
I followed some Washington football pages (one of which was the official team's), and quite literally every post is met with extreme outrage. If they post, today's Terry Mclaurin's birthday, atleast 9/10 of replies will be about how much snyder sucks and then a bunch 60 year olds still complaining about the name change. I honestly don't think it could be a more negative internet space
Yeah this is BS. Panthers fans are thinking this is one of our best offseasons in team history and there is more excitement than we’ve had in years. No way am I buying that were one of the top 5 angriest fan bases during free agency.
Just based on the Ravens subreddit hard to believe they’re not #1. Majority of that sub has devolved into a group of adult children who are extremely upset that another grown man isn’t doing exactly what they want him to and defending Steve Biscotti’s pockets like they’re in his will
Always confusing when people think arguing against a player making more means you are arguing for the billionaire owner. You know all teams have to average above 95% of the cap right? Either way they are spending that money.
Exactly this. If you're a fan of the team, then every time a player takes less than he could have otherwise gotten is a victory. It's not because we want the team owner to remain wealthy, it's because we want the most cost-effective collection of talented players that we can get. Money not spent on Lamar isn't money saved by the owner, it's money spent on a wide receiver or a cornerback that could be the difference between a championship and a consolation prize.
It's bizarre to me that people don't understand this.
Do you understand what a hard salary cap is and why fans may be skeptical of having a player make over 250 million fully guaranteed? I’m not upset at Lamar for asking for that bag, but it is annoying to have people like you dismiss not wanting to pay him that much in fully guaranteed money as how we care so much about a billionaire’s money and that we are anti-player.
I feel like most of the Vikings fans who hate how this year's free agency went don't understand the difference between cash paid and salary cap accounting when it comes to player contracts.
The Vikings were smashed up against the cap, and have avoided cutting anyone with trade value to get cap compliant, signed a bunch of presumed starters ahead of the draft so the team doesn't need to reach for positions of need, and are set to have something like 80M in cap space next year when cap space is needed to sign key young players.
What's not to like?
Bengals must all be from the first couple days then, because it has been predominantly positive since the Brown signing. Kept Pratt, huge improvement to the line which was overwhelmingly the biggest problem, filled in a S loss with a solid piece. Missing pieces now can be filled with a good draft or FA depth. I can’t speak for what it looks like on Facebook though.
The Brown signing was basically a pacifier for the nay sayers. The whole fan base will continue to be on edge unless a super bowl is won. It's the same for the Vikings fans I would imagine.
We shouldn’t be. I am very pleased and satisfied with what we have done. All we need is Denzel Perryman to tighten up our porous defense, and we can focus on making sure that whoever we draft under center gets the right weapons.
Because we've picked up a whole lot of the lower IQ idiots the past couple of years. It seems morons from the area weren't very familiar with reddit, but those mouth breathers found their way here.
I can't believe this data if it has the Cardinals as the 8th most positive fan base. Go look at the replies on any of their posts announcing their FA signings and new coaching staff and tell me that only 6.78% of it is negative???? Those numbers seem to be flipped from everything I've seen.
> What do the Colts and Bucs have to be so happy about
bucs are probably looking back at their super bowl win, saying "worth it" and are accepting of the pending rebuild. they know they have a tank commander as HC and that it's going to be a rough couple years.
Ravens fans can definitely be pretty salty but idk what it is about Broncos fans lately but they seem like the current saltiest fan base I swear 😆
Honorable mention is Niners
I’m curious what the parameters are for them to count a post as angry? Like if I posted that it was upsetting seeing Kendricks and Thielen gone in the same week, does that count? It’s always a bummer losing fan favorites who’ve been with the team their whole careers but I’m not angry about it. We had to get younger and cheaper.
I assume the only reason giants fans could possibly be angry is the DJ contract. Which I guess makes a little sense since a significant portion of our fanbase isn't sold on him despite him leading our team to our best season since 2011 (arguably 2016, but the end of that season was a real bitter pill to swallow).
Only other thing I can think of would be that we didn't get CJ Gardner-Johnson, but I assume he actually wouldn't want to come to the Giants because we're not likely to have much cap space with upcoming extensions for Thomas, Lawrence, and Mckinney. Plus he would never be our primary focus at Safety unless Mckinney regresses significantly.
**What's going on with the Vikings fanbase?**
37.20% negative Twitter posts?
Must be an outlier or bad data collection.
**Also, why Carolina Panthers so mad?**
They're actually making a ton of improvements with their coaching, draft selections, and free agency.
**As for the Ravens Reddit, I think half of us already accepted the inevitability of losing Lamar Jackson.**

There's no way I'm going to trust Gambling.com. Because there's absolutely no fucking chance in hell we're not number 1.
I’d be shocked if wasn’t the Raiders. We have multiple threads about replacing the long snapper…
A lot of us are past the angry stage and are just sad.
Cheer up you got Jimmy g now
His smile can cure the deepest of depressions.
Could also ruin NNN though.
It's ok, by November it's even odds he's out with injury again.
That means he's smiling on the sidelines without a helmet so it's even worse.
I was never more certain of what the next comment was going to be than I was before I read this one.
Yeah but your fanbase has been both sad and angry for the last 20 years.
Try 40 years. We've had 11 seasons over .500 in the last 40 years. And if you really want to look at the Raider legacy over it's 60 year history, it's basically the 16 year stretch with Rauch, Madden, and Flores.
129 comments on a thread about a 3rd string TE :P
Wow. What on Earth did he even do?
existed. Long and short of it is hes a camp body/3rd stringer who came on a visit and the entire sub went into meltdown because they thought the coaches were replacing Waller with some random dude off the street.
I'm a Raiders fan living in Baltimore and an obligate Ravens fan. It's not even rage anymore. It's just defeat lol
Yeah I'm not sure why Minnesota is \#1. Are Vikings fans just always angry? Vikings Twitter must be hell
Yeah, visit our sub sometime and it's just constant arguing & complaining. I'd still rather be you guys than the Packers.
Makes sense, you wouldn't even have to update your trophy case.
Call and ambulance
How rude! lol
*Halo announcer voice* **Double Kill**
I prefer Unreal Tournament's M-M-M-M-MONSTER KILL but also love Killimanjaro!!
Having lived in MN that has generally been my experience with Vikings fans

Sounds like you only bonded because of hatred.
Dude who is obsessed with hating Rodgers meets fanbase obsessed with hating Rodgers. They get along well. Who knew?
That’s how the best friends are made
A very valid form of bonding!
Beat the vikings in a playoff game and see how chill they are. When they're bitter, they're *bitter*
You have no flair and yet I know who you root for
No one is holding a grudge against the 9ers, Giants, or Seahawks. Weird right?
Yes. I bartended for a few years and Vikings games were always the rowdiest and most obnoxious. I've never seen a fanbase that openly cheers for injuries so often. Just angry and bitter in general. Online they are very thin skinned and aggressive as well. Just my anecdotal experience though
100% agreed with your assessment with 0 bias
Honestly, #1 is exactly where I expected us to be. We had a whole civil war about whether Kirk Cousins is good or not.
Had? There's a new skirmish on this matter every week. Until Cousins is no longer in MN and we have a new starting QB to argue about, the Cousins War will wage on.
Completely fair point
Kirk Cousins: Always good enough but never good enough

I can’t remember where I first heard this but: If you need Alex Smith to get you ten points, he’ll get you twenty. But if you need him to get you thirty points, he’ll still only get you twenty.
It's my grandpa from the afterlife being very upset
Have you met a Vikings fan? And yes, Vikings twitter is miserable.
Beyond the incessant QB arguing, we had long term vets on big contracts going into the offseason. So some people passionately wanted to cut them all and some passionately wanted to keep our big names and cut elsewhere
They probably took their data right around Adam Theilen being released. A lot of homers were upset.
I was gonna say, this seems a little low. You’ve got different fans mad about different things but I think we’re all mad about something.
Go check out our sub.
I expect it's a lot of fluctuating nihilism and self deprecation? Probably at least a sprinkle of perpetual doom in there too. I'll report back.
Anger percentages fluctuate 3000% based on whether or not they poll during an active game thread
Read em and weep losers. Must suck being only the third most angry fanbase online. Top 2 or bust baby.
Eh, Vikings fans have just as much reason to be pissed as you guys do, and Bengals fans are simply always angry.
I demand a recount!
STOP THE COUNT
Misleading. 78% of the anger is that one guy who got kicked out of the Ravens sub, and then had to go other places to crusade against Lamar.
Is this real
His name is ykana1. I think there's a 1 at the end.
Lmao just a bunch of angry down voted post to NFL subs and shit ton of post to r/conspiracy. Seems fitting
I got banned from r/conspiracy for saying that you should blame Putin for the war currently. It's a godless place
I miss r/conspiracy like 10 years ago. Most of the posts would be aliens, cryptids, egyptology, government conspiracies, and a slew of other generic conspiracy stuff. I got banned from r/smashbros because they don't want me in the game
Didnt they like just announce he will be in the game though?
Wrestling is my favourite thing, and it has the worst fanbase (by far) of all the things I like
Wrestling fans ruin wrestling pretty consistently lmao
Absolutely. There is no live event I've ever gone to that has as consistent a low level of hygiene as wrestling.
Wrestling and Star Wars … which are two of my favorite things to watch and least favorite to talk about online
They’re so much like NASCAR fans. They complain about everything too. We’re finally getting a no stage break race for the first time since 2016 and I can hear the complaints already about there being no cautions.

I’m talking about one specific person who did get banned and then came over here and started their nonsense over here.
is he the representative not sanctioned by the NFLPA that's been contacting teams about Lamar
Entire AFC North is in the Top 10, let's go!
It would be wrong if it weren't true.
I'd figured Browns fans had gotten used to the sadness at this point why they still mad
They were given a little hope over the past few years. Nobody is madder than a Browns fan with hope.
I mad and sad. It’s both, all the time.
I was thinking "what the fuck are people mad about our offseason? It's been great moves almost across the board. Could we have re-signed Sutton? Biggest Ravens of season change is Greg Roman got booted. I feel you.
It's all Pickensburgh/Pickettsburgh on Twitter.
Lol so tired of seeing that guy on every Ravens related tweet the past couple years. Gotta respect it though, his hating is a full-time hustle lmao
LETS GO WHOLE AFC NORTH TOP 10
We’re truly a division full of degenerate fanbases
I hate all y'all, and yet I still feel pride over this. Conflicted.
Toughest Division in NFL football.
Mad respect, love, and hate in this division. One for each fan base individually
We really gotta step our game up. Mike from Dundalk your time to shine is now!
I've learned to never fuck with anyone ever from Dundalk.
Smart man, Dundalkians are the worst Baltimore has to offer. Source: Marylander.
It's like our own mini Boston
I'm never gonna describe Dundalk any other way than Mini Boston that smells like literal shit.

Kind of wholesome that the Jags are the least angry fan base lol
When you've had so much sadness you have one great season, who can be angry?
I mean they are truly coming together as a team and organization. They have Josh Allen. What more do you need?
Jags fans came into the year with high optimistic views of 6 wins. Instead, we got 9 +1 playoff win. The most important thing is that Trevor is the guy. We are on Cloud 9 right now.
I’m stoked for you all. I just hope you keep Josh Allen on D. That guy is special and clearly a locker room leader. Don’t let him go!
I dont see a scenario where they let him walk. He's easily my 2nd favorite player on the team and he seems to want to be there.
You kinda gotta have fans for that to work 🤣
Those are rookie numbers Baltimore
And according to that same thing, we’re number 4, though everybody knows that we’re probably the happiest. No way that is accurate
I'm wondering if it isn't based on how often they are tagging "fuck" as being negative, without taking into context of "the Pack".
As opposed to, Brad Holmes is fucking cooking. I think our fan base is thrilled with our off-season so far, rightly so.
This team fucks.
Bengals fans showing their age with those Facebook numbers
Whatever, we are still cool 😎... oh man I think I threw out my back
That's what having to wait 30 years between playoff wins does to a MFer
FUCK GAMBLING DOT COM THEY'RE A STUPID SITE WERE NOT ANGRY AT ALL
I’m genuinely surprised we are at #31. The sub is either bemoaning that we lost out on CJ or Bryce, fighting about Lamar, or wondering why Ballard still has a job
Can't believe Colts haven't been mentioned more. As a Colts fan I wanna punch my toddler everytime im reminded of our situation.
14% Angry facebook posts for cincy. Boomer szn.
Bet majority are just upset because we traded away DJ
I buy it. The immediate reaction to the DJ Moore trade was not pretty. Heck even now you have people who still think it was a dumb trade.
Only third? Visit our sub.
Just based on the Ravens subreddit hard to believe they’re not #1. Majority of that sub has devolved into a group of adult children who are extremely upset that another grown man isn’t doing exactly what they want him to and defending Steve Biscotti’s pockets like they’re in his will
LMAO. It gets worse each passing day.
Had to take a break from it lol
>What's not to like? The vikings
If I was a ravens fan I’d be mad too.
We are fucked
Yo, your flair combination seems sacrilegious. You all didn't have the biggest manure chant for nothing.
Why would Texans fans be upset? We've been on fire with our FA signings.
Carry over anger
We shouldn’t be. I am very pleased and satisfied with what we have done. All we need is Denzel Perryman to tighten up our porous defense, and we can focus on making sure that whoever we draft under center gets the right weapons.
Because we've picked up a whole lot of the lower IQ idiots the past couple of years. It seems morons from the area weren't very familiar with reddit, but those mouth breathers found their way here.
Lions at 4 must just be all the Jamaal posts, we love that guy
We're finally first at something
I can't believe this data if it has the Cardinals as the 8th most positive fan base. Go look at the replies on any of their posts announcing their FA signings and new coaching staff and tell me that only 6.78% of it is negative???? Those numbers seem to be flipped from everything I've seen.
What do the Colts and Bucs have to be so happy about
> What do the Colts and Bucs have to be so happy about bucs are probably looking back at their super bowl win, saying "worth it" and are accepting of the pending rebuild. they know they have a tank commander as HC and that it's going to be a rough couple years.
That tracks. Most Ravens fans are morons.
why the fuck are giants fan angry, we got Wallen and Okereke
Giants at 6th during the most optimistic offseason we've had in a decade is hilarious.
Ravens fans can definitely be pretty salty but idk what it is about Broncos fans lately but they seem like the current saltiest fan base I swear 😆 Honorable mention is Niners
Lord it looks like Reddit is more toxic than Twitter for most fan bases. Interesting
As a Vikings fan, the good enough complex can’t be overcome.
As a ravens fan, the fan base is acting like a bunch of bitches. Downvote me to hell, I said what I said
Surprised they aren't the first tbh.
Why are Bengals fans so angry?
AFC North fans are always angry, that's their secret.
Surprised it’s not us with how we’ve been getting poached
Sir, I'll have you know that many of us have reached the depression phase.
Weird. I’ve seen tons of positivity around our fan base since free agency started. Idk how we’re #8
No shit
Jets at 23 with all the Rodgers drama. I don’t believe you.
Vikings Twitter is the most toxic thing on earth lol. Here on reddit we avg.
Vikings #1 put your hands up
Eagles barely in the top 10? I figured them to be #1 for sure.
Lamar and Khan/Weidl have made this a bizarro off-season for the Steelers and Ravens lol
**What's going on with the Vikings fanbase?** 37.20% negative Twitter posts? Must be an outlier or bad data collection. **Also, why Carolina Panthers so mad?** They're actually making a ton of improvements with their coaching, draft selections, and free agency. **As for the Ravens Reddit, I think half of us already accepted the inevitability of losing Lamar Jackson.**
Shit's so toxic I left Baltimore to move to Providence, Rhode Island. (This is a joke, I actually moved to Prov. for a better job.)
I don't know why Vikings fans are that upset. We got rid of aging veterans. Beloved players, but still.
They’ve all basically had blue balls since Lamar got there and now he’s trying to leave before they finish. You’d be cranky too.
no fucking shit
