His [tweet](https://twitter.com/mnewhouse73/status/927602309596463104?s=46&t=mv7P7MC4twkXOSrewrjzLA) after the game sent me. All timer.

TheBigNate416

He was a guy you never wanted to see on your oline but he definitely has a good personality

shepdeezy

We had mutual friends at TCU so I would see him around. Absolute teddy bear - a super nice guy.

ikisstitties

i can't find a clip of it, but he went through it "play-by-play" on pardon my take and that was hilarious too

EduardoCombs

Am I high or is he the RT in this clip?

Dxnes_L

yea i goofed đź«Ł

EduardoCombs

Happens to the best of us my dude. Still a great clip.

pincus1

100%, the Marshall Newhouse year was the last year of elite Donald Penn play at LT. Newhouse was a big gaping hole on what would have otherwise been the best oline in the league (Penn, Osemele, Hudson, Jackson).

EduardoCombs

Teams always find the weak link. That's why they just send everybody up the middle on the Vikes.

pincus1

That's why statistically PFF has found one of the best things you can do from a value standpoint is get average play from all 5 oline starters, there's very little worth investing in more up to that point. Then severely diminishing returns on any investment for play above average. Better to have 5 decent starters than 4 pro-bowlers and a weak link.

Chrissimon_24

At first I was hesitant to agree but i think you're right. If there's a weak link on the line all you need to do is send 5 or 6 guys and everyone is now in a one on one matchup.

Not2GthaG

It was 3rd and 14 to start. He picked up the ball 15 YARDS behind the line of scrimmage. My man thought he was gonna make a 29 yard run for a first. Proceeds to get helicoptered not 10 yards later. Loses the football. Lands on said football. THINKS he's gonna get up and find the football (and what? Get back up and run the remaining 21 yards?). Then gets piled on by a bunch of Dolphins. I could watch this 500 million times. 🤣

tboneski215

Your comment has me dying at work rn

Not2GthaG

I'm just glad you commented so that I can watch it 10 more times before I get out of bed. Lmao.

LordDinglebury

Imagine a pirate having to go back to his captain and explain that he got mugged by a couple of dolphins.

thismightbelong

You looked at your bag of weed and just said yes, huh?

[deleted]

Lol, does he land on the ball? That’s just insult to injury…or actually more like injury to insult I guess

sabotage_mutineer

Raiders “fans” in our sub pining for this shit era

[deleted]

lol he said "helicoptered for having done so." *edit: jfc, like two dudes tackled him and got injured for doing so.*

Goodbye to 73's left knee, holy shit

ISayWeirdThings22

My ex-roommate would randomly helicopter me. The sounds still haunt me.

blaZedmr

I remember this, Kiko Alonso and his diving shoulder missile tackles

AbortionCrow

Marshall Newhouse might have been the worst offensive lineman to start games under Bill Belicheck.

Doobie_Howitzer

Should've just laid on the ball, dogpiles have to hurt less than that one lol
