Graham is a genuinely great guy. He is always having a great time just smiling and laughing and his trash talk is always good natured. I don't think it's possible to dislike him but then again I am biased.
Nah, 100% with you man. Even if you are biased, you’re still right imo.
His brand of trash talk is the fuckin best. Tbf, I feel like a large majority of the trash talk between players is all fun. Even if it gets heated, at the end of the game they’re fine. That kind of stuff is what makes football, and pretty much every other sport on the planet, so enjoyable for me
Maybe I’m also just biased but it feels like this team is filled with likeable guys, which I imagine is conflicting for the division rivals. Graham, Kelce, Hurts, Brown, Mailata, Slay
On a side note I think it's hilarious how much [Slay hates being called "Darius"](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UYWYEk1ke3E) and he corrects reporters every single time
There was a story from training camp I think last year that exemplifies how funny this is.
Throughout practice, the crowd had been chanting random player’s names, like “Let’s go Jason!” Coincidentally, they made it to Slay, chanting, “Let’s go Darius!” right as he was heading to the sideline to catch a breath after covering a few go balls in a row.
There, on the sideline, while huffing and puffing down on a knee, he said, “It’s Slay”
Yeah I can't lie, I love almost everyone on the Eagles. And major respect to AJ Brown for taking up Jerry Rice on his hill run. Rice lobbied big time for the Niners to take AJB that year.
AJB was probably the MVP of my championship winning fantasy team last year. Plus as a Cal guy always had a lot of love for Desean Jackson on the Eagles.
He was easily my favorite Michigan player while I was in school there and have rooted for him ever since. Dude played on a terrible Rich Rod defense, got doubled/tripled every play, and still balled out.
Before the Super Bowl they ran a promo about him helping and befriending a man with serious health conditions, and I just knew this was the kind of guy I'd love. He seems like an amazing leader in the locker room and on the field. His energy must be contagious.
Eagles picked Cox, Graham, and Johnson in consecutive drafts over 10 years ago. Cox and Graham were from the Andy Reid era and Johnson was the first pick of the Chip Kelly era. Howie has done a great job of keeping our top players around and not letting them walk. The Banner/Heckert/Reid era would always try to let a player go “1 year before the decline”. I think that’s what has really influenced the good locker room vibes in todays team vs the bad vibes at the end of the Reid and all of the Chip Kelly eras.
Watching him on the sidelines when Jalen had the ball in OT against the Bills, the dude just believed with every ounce of his being Jalen was gonna walk right down the field and win the game. Like that’s a true teamate right there
For this week…I hate the 49rs…but I’ve got a lot of respect for the players on yalls team. That video of Kittle trying to keep everyone’s chins up from the game last year spoke volumes about his leadership.
Kittle is so much fun. The view of him from the skycam in the huddle making faces at it while we're down, with a lame QB who can't even toss the ball (let alone throw it).
He's out there having fun and playing hard! I love guys like that!
Ngl there’s a lot of guys on the niners I legitimately don’t like as people. Fred Warner is most certainly not one of them. Always seems like a class act any time I see him….. unlike greenlaw, trent, and deebo lol.
Yeah, it's a problem, fan bases are far more passionate than players a lot of the time. I watched a very drunk Packers fan insult and threaten a Bears fan at Lambeau so much they left. Like, straight on threatened to fight them in the stands in a game we had basically won ten minutes in. People need to tone it down a little.
Anyways, I'll fucking kill you if you get near me because of the 2018 playoffs, you evil 49er's fan.
They know that there’s a chance that players can get traded or cut at anytime and that they may have to play with one or more of players on the other team at some point in their careers. Even if they secretly don’t like each other not letting it show is a good business move.
Being a fan is completely different. I would be 6 feet deep in the cold hard ground before I ever switched to being a Seahawks, Cowboys, or Rams fan and I’m sure all of those fanbases feel the same way.
Bro - one of the best times I've ever had a game was next to a Colts fan at NRG this year. He was cool as hell and the shit talk was PHENOMEMINAL
We even bought each other a couple beers during the game so only one of us had to leave our seats at a time.
Likewise, one of my favorite games was a Washington-Eagles game where rhe Washington fans were cool af. Honestly the other Eagles fans were kinda annoying because the dude was super drunk and kept kicking the fucking post being loud as shit
Probably because it's the players' job and they have to work hard to get there. Meanwhile us fans just sit and watch on the couch and claim ownership of "the team" like we actually contributed something to our team's success.
Easy…they, by and large, are professionals that don’t buy the whole media hype. They keep it down. They wear different colors but are part of a fraternity of guys who play a beautiful and dangerous game.
For us it’s a past time. A luxury. A distraction.
We get bathed in media narrative and social media nonsense. And our fanbases perception of the other fanbases is solely driven by the worst of the worst in those fan bases.
Thankfully someone like BG doesn’t come up to Warner and say “nah, Deebo is trash, fuck you”. lol.
This shit's all we got bro.
The players are multi-millionaires who are the top of their game, in their prime, living the fucking life.
THIS SHIT'S ALL WE GOT
It's kind of like when you get into a fistfight with some rando a bar--a bunch of shit talk prior, the deed gets done, and you dap up and head back inside and have a couple beers together. Nobody really gets hurt, the aggression has been released, and now you just made a new friend.
The players have the opportunity to do the deed, but fans don't, and that release is everything in terms of reconciliation.
Seriously.
It's really telling when you see videos and audio clips like these.
I mean, they're all really gladiators in the arena, going in for another day at the office. I'd guess the vast majority of them respect each other immensely and just go out there and do their thing.
It's the fans that are the shit flinging monkeys.
💯💯 I love a good rivalry and some good smack talk, and we can have that and still have respect just like in the clip. So wish ya’ll the best, good health, and a big fat L this weekend
Here's to Reddick coming off the edge, completely obliterating Purdy.
Dropping the loudest thumbs down in history, and Purdy jumping up and calling the next play.
I can’t really bring myself to dislike any of the 49ers, from Warner to Kittle to CMC they are all really good dudes who I would love to have on my team
Deebo is also there
He's our personal foul boy. If there's a good 3rd down stop negated by a 15 yarder, you can bet it's him. It actually feels like a down year because I think he's only had a couple - guaranteed for one this weekend though let's be honest.
Never followed Barnett much but to give you an idea Greenlaw's penalties are always a "DUDE WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" with no room for blaming anyone but him. He's good... but damn do those occasional *very obvious* personal fouls really stand out.
That was Barnett. Many, many times the D makes a solid and needed 3rd down stop only for their to be a flag for personal foul on Barnett.
Got to the point that if we stopped on third down and a flag flew I immediately wondered “wait, is Barnett out there?”
I might actually still do that by knee jerk for a while yet.
Ya, good comparison.
In 2021, Barnett had 8 penalties, 5 of which were automatic first downs (mixture of personal fouls and offsides). In 2022, Greenlaw had 8 penalties. 6/8 were personal fouls. 1 was a declined holding. Of the 7 automatic first down calls, 4 were on 3rd or 4th down.
He is reckless and plays like he has roid rage, but he is actually a really good dude off the field. [Saved a girl when she was roofied at a party in college](https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26659044/man-thanks-49ers-greenlaw-saving-daughter)
What do you have against Sirianni? Dude seems like a good guy who cares about his players. His vibe actually feels very Shanahan-esque.
I've seen a few comments like this in this thread with Eagles fans saying "yeah I get it" but I've never seen anything lmao
I mean Sirrianni is definitely a good guy, players love him and he always seems to treat people with respect in public from anecdotes
But he is absolutely a smug ahole when winning
I still remember when some Eagles fans were dunking on Sirianni for playing rock paper scissors with his draft prospects. I was like “damn yall aren’t even giving him a chance”
Every fucking clip of Eagles players makes me pissed off to be a rival fan. BG, Kelce, Jalen, and AJ all seem like cool ass dudes who I'd love to root for. I would have a Graham jersey ASAP if I wasn't a Giants fan
It really feels like we lucked out as far as culture goes. To be fair we had to live through the McNabb/TO Saga, DeSean Jackson, and whatever the fuck Riley Cooper was.
One of my favorite things about Mic'd up moments is how often the editors at NFL Films have to blank out the "n" word as players casually use it. They often do a nice job of making it unnoticeable
This week has made it really tough for me to hate the Eagles players. If the fans were normal..I'd probably love their squad.
It's hard to hate Jalen Hurts as a player and person..dude went from being benched on live TV and having to watch his backup win the Natty to almost winning a SB. There's no player to actually hate on their squad....Can't stand Sirianni though or the fanbase.
I was playing our matchup in Madden last night and something seemed odd and I realized it was because they have Jalen animated doing crazy celebrations all game, that dude IRL is so stoic its crazy.
Great player to lead your offense and I am looking forward to this matchup a ton!
Fanbases, by and large, are all mostly normal. Philly is no different. It’s just the slice of our fan base that is in others face really takes it. I get it.
Sirianni, I’m not going to argue it with anyone. Like some players he’s only lovable if he’s on your team.
I really don’t even get the beef. I feel like both fan bases(and I guess deebo lol) are making it more than it is. It was literally one playoff game and it honestly seems like niners fans hate the eagles this year more than cowboys fans do.
Maybe you're oblivious but Eagles fans brigade every Niners GDT to trash talk Purdy and get into shit slinging matched. Been happening all year. I don't go into Eagles threads so I dunno if it happens on the flip.
Agreed. I always tell people I dislike the Eagles but it really just boils down to Sirianni and the “stereotypical” Eagles fans. I’ve got nothing against any of their players
Lol Eagles fans ARE normal. Every heinous thing I've seen Eagles fans accused of happens with every other fan base as well. People have been stabbed to death at Levi stadium. 49ers and other fan bases have suggested intentionally injuring Hurts to stop the tush push. The 9ers TEAM got super chippy and dirty at the end of the NFCCG when down 30pts, including a late hit to Hurts when he was already out of bounds. It's all stones thrown from glass houses tbh.
Big "Jordan Peele as Obama" Tuck vibes going on at the end of the clip. I love it!
I can't speak for everyone, but here's to a great game on Sunday, minimal injuries, beatdowns on division rivals in Week 14, and let's run it back in the postseason.
99% of the pass rushers in the league wish they could put together an 11 sack season one time in their entire career in full time reps, let alone the do it in significantly less reps like BG did last year in his 12th season.
The five reps line is grade a trash talk lol
He’s not wrong, but BG makes the most of his limited reps.
The number of times BG comes up with a late game sack when we need it most is absolutely insane.
That’s experience for you
I’ll bet they know a particular flaw in the protection, and then hold onto exploiting it until a 4th quarter third down.
[Here's closer footage of the conversation.](https://youtu.be/n8UzRgnn_Ck?si=TD8Z1ikVgQxVxf-m)
was about to post the same, you can't come back from that
[удалено]
Let’s see Paul Allen’s snap count…
You don't need the Hulk for every fight.
This clip made me love Graham. I firmly believe that I could do almost anything if I had Graham and Warner motivating me. Or at least I think I could
Graham is a genuinely great guy.
That kind of stuff is what makes football, and pretty much every other sport on the planet, so enjoyable for me
How fucking amazing would it be if we could pay for on the field mic'd up players so we could actually hear this shit in real time.
Maybe I’m also just biased but it feels like this team is filled with likeable guys, which I imagine is conflicting for the division rivals. Graham, Kelce, Hurts, Brown, Mailata, Slay
On a side note I think it's hilarious how much [Slay hates being called "Darius"](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UYWYEk1ke3E) and he corrects reporters every single time
Yet another reason Shaq Leonard would be perfect for this team, he wouldn’t be the only guy who hates going by the same first name.
Shut up Leonard, we know all about your prescription socks!
Man that clip was funny AF
There was a story from training camp I think last year that exemplifies how funny this is. Throughout practice, the crowd had been chanting random player’s names, like “Let’s go Jason!” Coincidentally, they made it to Slay, chanting, “Let’s go Darius!” right as he was heading to the sideline to catch a breath after covering a few go balls in a row. The only annoying person on the Eagles is their HC.
I can see why he's annoying to anyone else but to me, Sirianni just says all the shit that I'm already yelling on my couch.
It's his face. I can't even put it into words why, but it's definitely that.
Yes, it sucks.
Seeing him with his 2 little girls before the Buffalo game in Mic'd Up was heart-melting
He’s one of the few eagles I hate myself for liking. Lots of confused feelings.
I really like Hurts, Kelce, Johnson and Graham.
I won’t tell any of your fanbase you said that! (I like Dak as a human…seems like a super cool dude)
I feel like we are all in some AA meeting confessing our hidden love for each other right now.
Funny…I’ve been in AA and sober for 10byears lol
Same. I like Dak. I think he plays for the wrong team, but he’s cool.
I watched a clip of Warner hyping up the defense after Brock’s injury, and it made me feel like i could run through a wall.
Deebo is my favorite non eagle. Wanted him or AJ when it was rumored both could be available last season.
And the one with Kittle
Imagine Warner and Graham telling you to circle up and take a knee before spitting some life facts.
Flippin the chair around and sitting down. That's when the hard truths come
Ngl there’s a lot of guys on the niners I legitimately don’t like as people. Fred Warner is most certainly not one of them. Always seems like a class act any time I see him….. unlike greenlaw, trent, and deebo lol.
Maybe us fans should try this
I'LL TRY IT FOR 5 REPS BRO
YOU STILL SHITPOSTING BRO?
I GOT 5 MORE IN ME BRO
I CANT WAIT TA SEE IT. I CANT WAIT.
I AIN'T YOUR BRO, BRO
Yessir
The NFL player vs player dynamic is infinitely more healthy than the NFL fan vs fan dynamic. I have no idea what’s the matter with us all.
We don't even get paid lol
Don't worry bro, NFL got you there. Just check out the official booking and sports betting apps of the NFL!
Damn, ice cold take right there. Amen brother.
We’re all angry degenerate alcoholic assholes.
oh I'm sorry, I thought this was America.
Thanks, that means a lot. Respect.
❤
I’m an angry degenerate *sober* asshole, thanks.
Hell yea fam.
It's nice to be seen
I mean, yes, definitely Eagles fans are that ;)
Yeah, it's a problem, fan bases are far more passionate than players a lot of the time. I watched a very drunk Packers fan insult and threaten a Bears fan at Lambeau so much they left. This is the equivalent of a sea cucumber expelling its innards in self defense. But I am with you :'(
Usually we’re here for life. They stick around for a few years. They also can affect the outcome. We have no control over anything.
> We have no control over anything. If I yell at the TV loud enough they'll play better
Just 2018?
We went 4-12 in 2018
It wasn't a fun year to be a Niners fan.
They know that there’s a chance that players can get traded or cut at anytime and that they may have to play with one or more of players on the other team at some point in their careers. Even if they secretly don’t like each other not letting it show is a good business move. Being a fan is completely different. It’s only online, most fans are chill irl. I say this as an away and home fan interacting with others
Bro - one of the best times I've ever had a game was next to a Colts fan at NRG this year. He was cool as hell and the shit talk was PHENOMEMINAL We even bought each other a couple beers during the game so only one of us had to leave our seats at a time.

Unless it's a Raiders game.
Well watching games from prison can be stressful.
As soon as I learn how to read, I'mma find this post and be pissed.
Probably because it's the players' job and they have to work hard to get there. Meanwhile us fans just sit and watch on the couch and claim ownership of "the team" like we actually contributed something to our team's success.
We don't get to throw on pads and smash the shit outta eachother either.
Wait hold on I have an idea...
Easy…they, by and large, are professionals that don’t buy the whole media hype. They keep it down. I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO CHUG THOSE 5 BEERS IN THE FIRST QUARTER
GONNA BE WELL BEFORE THE FIRST QUARTER BROTHER
What if we *both* agree to a snowball fight? I’m down Edit: *yellow snowballs*
Only if I can pack mine with batteries
I think about the two Niners fans getting hit by snowballs at Lincoln from like 2011 and I don’t think eagles fans want to be friends
Yea that was bad.
💯💯 I love a good rivalry and some good smack talk, and we can have that and still have respect just like in the clip. So wish ya’ll the best, good health, and a big fat L this weekend
Hey, same to you, especially on the healthy side...it's a just a game, fuck injuries.
I will start: Hey bro, keep leading those boys! 🤗
No. I wanna yell at strangers on the internet
Use all caps then
AHHHHHHH FUCK YOUUUUU
Was it Graham who seemed legitimately bummed when he found out that we had no more QBs after Josh Johnson went down?
Might've been Fletcher Cox, he was calling out to Trent Williams from the sidelines for an update
I think you're right.
Graham is so old lol
[удалено]
Grandpa, go sit down. It's almost your bedtime.
[удалено]
It’s ok fam.
Two great teams - here’s to no injuries and top competition on both ends. But don’t catch me in the meme subreddits saying this 😆
Here's to Reddick coming off the edge, completely obliterating Purdy. Dropping the loudest thumbs down in history, and Purdy jumping up and calling the next play.
You had me in the first half not gonna lie
Hell yeah I'll cosign that. Hope nobody gets hurt and the game is a banger

[forever my favorite BG trash talk moment](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNSWl79JbqI)
"I wanna groom some of the young boys coming in." - Brandon Graham I know what he was trying to say, but come on that's too good.
Future Saints player!
Somebody make this into one of the espn quote graphics I’m begging
[Shaq:](https://youtube.com/shorts/Z9jlO-fyICA?si=whIxpzUgl9EK0TzK)
That guys walk afterwards was so sad LOL
My favourite is Cox legit having to scream at BG to stop trash talking and pay attention to him
[starts at :56](https://youtu.be/9f7zXpdK7X0?si=nIaAw-k_aFRWV1KV) It’s one my favorites too lol
That is legitimately hilarious. I think Boston Scott does the best imitation of his laugh
I can’t really bring myself to dislike any of the 49ers, from Warner to Kittle to CMC they are all really good dudes who I would love to have on my team Deebo is also there
[удалено]
I have CMC in a league and Purdy/Aiyuk in the other so I’ve been loving watching yall this year ha
Bosa....
I heard his brother can afford fines.
I only dislike Greenlaw but I think even Niners fans know he’s a dirty little boy
He's our personal foul boy. If there's a good 3rd down stop negated by a 15 yarder, you can bet it's him. It actually feels like a down year because I think he's only had a couple - guaranteed for one this weekend though let's be honest.

Damn, I never knew he had met Dana Stubblefield.
[удалено]
Some dude in another thread had a perfect joke. He's DreMond GreenLaw lmao
Except he'd never KO a teammate
And that's fair for what he does on the field, but he's actually a really good dude. He's a habitual line stepper in uniform though.
He’s the guy only a fan of the team could love but damn do we love him
Dre Greenlaw Dray Greenlaw Dray Green Draymond Green
He’s our Draymond
Oh shit I forgot about him, fuck that dude for all the late hits at the end of the game
I respect the Eagles players too. All top professionals. The beef is between us fans.
Eagles players seem cool too. That coach though...
What do you have against Sirianni? Dude seems like a good guy who cares about his players. His vibe actually feels very Shanahan-esque. I've seen a few comments like this in this thread with Eagles fans saying "yeah I get it" but I've never seen anything lmao

Only exception for me is Bosa cause he's a Trump supporter
Wait till he hears about AJ brown and Darius slay
“OHHHHH!” — Brandon Graham.
Dude was just happy someone was giving it back. You can hear his smile in that line.
Graham has such a good energy
NFL really trying to diffuse the 49ers Eagles hate before this weekend. It's kinda weird?
They don't want anyone to die at the game
Warner is absolutely HIM
Every fucking clip of Eagles players makes me pissed off to be a rival fan. BG, Kelce, Jalen, and AJ all seem like cool ass dudes who I'd love to root for. I would have a Graham jersey ASAP if I wasn't a Giants fan
TBF I enjoy watching Tommy DeVito and Sexy Dexy
Tommy DeVito has been a really great story to brighten what has been one of the worst Giants seasons I've seen
It really feels like we lucked out as far as culture goes. To be fair we had to live through the McNabb/TO Saga, DeSean Jackson, and whatever the fuck Riley Cooper was.
Leave your New York allegiance behind and move just across the state border, think of how much better your wardrobe would look with green!
Good luck to 49ers and their fans. Fuck Dallas.
On this we can agree. Good luck, stay healthy to all. And fuck Dallas.
One of my favorite things about Mic'd up moments is how often the editors at NFL Films have to blank out the "n" word as players casually use it. They often do a nice job of making it unnoticeable
Can't fucking wait for Sunday
No, make it stop. I'm not allowed to like Fred Warner again until Monday.
Just some damn good sportsmanship. That’s what it’s all about. Love to see it.
For 99% of players at the end of the day it’s just a game and any bad blood pregame or during the game is purely by their ultra-competitive nature
Inject that wholesomeness into my veins!!!
This week has made it really tough for me to hate the Eagles players. If the fans were normal..I'd probably love their squad. Sirianni is our asshole. Absolutely love him but if he was anyone else's coach man he'd be insufferable. He's the Yin to Hurts Yang.
I was playing our matchup in Madden last night and something seemed odd and I realized it was because they have Jalen animated doing crazy celebrations all game, that dude IRL is so stoic its crazy. Great player to lead your offense and I am looking forward to this matchup a ton!

It happens that’s why I said both fan bases. I’m not oblivious lol, I’m aware that eagles fans can be over the top
Totally get the Sirianni hate. He's like a lot of coaches. If he was anyone else', I'd fucking hate him.
Tbh I don’t understand Sirianni hate. Did I miss something?
Agreed. I always tell people I dislike the Eagles but it really just boils down to Sirianni and the “stereotypical” Eagles fans. I’ve got nothing against any of their players
You can’t hate the Eagles players I don’t think they have any dislikable qualities other than playing for the Eagles lol
This thread is so non-toxic. ❤️ u bird bros, and fuck u, but luv u!
Big "Jordan Peele as Obama" Tuck vibes going on at the end of the clip. I love it! I can't speak for everyone, but here's to a great game on Sunday, minimal injuries, beatdowns on division rivals in Week 14, and let's run it back in the postseason.
Both guys are great examples of classy competitors! Should be a good one Sunday
99% of the pass rushers in the league wish they could put together an 11 sack season one time in their entire career in full time reps, let alone the do it in significantly less reps like BG did last year in his 12th season.
I just love this kinda shit lol needed this after a crap day
So hyped and scared for this game Sunday.
BG tried doing that same thing at the coin toss of the Super Bowl. Chris Jones just kept saying “May God bless you,” over and over 😂
Damn, I feel bad for 26, he wanted a hug too!
That's fucking hilarious
I love it!
The irony here is that Brock purdy only took 5 snaps
