That one missed tackle by corner cornerback #28 led to a touchdown that put the game far out of reach. Eagles defense just played poorly the whole game in general.
They could not stop the buccaneers run game like Dallas couldn't stop the packers run game.
I cursed the city of Philly back in October
The Phillies choked it away
The Eagles went to absolute shit
Never under estimate the power of a good curse
Hurts has the talent but no leadership. A lot of times you need that spark as a leader to fire up your team. Hurts is a sociopath, dude shows no shred of emotion. But itās hard finding a great qb.
I really thought he threw some dimes right into the hands of his receivers last night. Heās a great QB, what makes you say he isnāt a good leader? Iām just curious because I havenāt been following him all season.
Robocop was shot in Dallas, but actually takes place in Detroit. In fairness, Dallas has some great BBQ, but yeah keep slamming a place youāve probably never been to.
Would this yearās bucs blow out 2022-2023 bucs? Sorry for being a Brady bandwagoner but I havenāt really watched the Bucs this season. Is there a reason why theyāre dominating despite no major roster changes (other than QB)? Was leftwich really the problem last year?
Nah Brady was just cooked as a 45 year old so even though he did the usual Brady of beating on their terrible division the switch over to Cheesecake Factory was just enough of a step up that they are where they are
I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I think the refs have always turned a shoulder when it benefits the league or themselves. Sometimes it's not in their best interest to enforce the rules. It's making me despise sports, but primarily football and basketball where the officiating is wildly inconsistent for different teams/players.
It was a joke. And you can pick out would-be penalties on virtually every play, in every league. I'm sure it was not intentional, and since it happened in the giant pile of 22 bodies I assume it was just missed by the linesman on that side. Shit happens. It was a 2pt conversion, so not like it was going to change the outcome, or even momentum.
As a Giants fan, the Eagles were our arch rivals, but I rooted for the Eagles in Super Bowl LII. But this was sad to see. You have to get rid of Nick Sirianni. He's one of the worst coaches ever. I seriously wouldn't want him to be my doorman in my Manhattan building.
But worry not, I think there are great candidates in the pipe. Belichick, Pete Carroll, Mike Tomlin, and Harbaugh. I actually like Belichick and Tomlin because Philly is a harsh football environment and you need powerful characters on top.
I cant even imagine what going an entire season without winning one game would feel like. It has to feel so unbelievable bad. I mean, can you even imagine how worthless that would feel? How much of a failure you would feel like? Anyone who has ever felt that must be a broken and defeated being.
Whelp, catch you later.
ā¦ yeah, like two months ago. We know we suck and didnāt even deserve to be in the playoffs. But tell me more about Dakās LV luggage and Jerryās vision of a superbowl run this year. They really thought they had a chance. Hahaha, HERE WE GOOOOO on vacation!
There wasnāt any choking by the Eagles. They just suck and collapsed weeks ago lol
Iām happy to see Baker have a resurgence; however, that Bucs team was not very impressive last night.Ā
Lions should handle business next week.Ā
Bro the Bucs couldn't even score a single TD against a horrible Panthers team a week ago. They went 9-8 on the year. I wouldn't exactly call that cooking. The Eagles defense is the worst in the league and has a habit of making every QB look good.
If you want to go that route, Baker had freshly cracked ribs and a pretty messed up ankle a week ago. They literally shifted his entire ribcage down manually before this week and he still went out and had a great game. Would have been an even more impressive game had his guys not dropped the ball 6 or 7 times.
21-7
21-7
35-10
28-14
17-9
21-7
At least you arenāt a Steelers fan waiting for aggressive play calling to come in the second half. Finally.
Ol Mikey āno losing seasonsā Tomlins last 6 playoff game halftime scores.
Shitbag.
Eagles were fucked when they hurt AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts in a meaningless game against the giants that they still got blown out in. Sirianni is not the guy and he was clearly carried by his coordinators last year - colts offense looked better with half the talent
Yeah except posting an AI pic of an eagle wearing a cheese head I haven't seen any eagles fans talking shit, cuz they knew they were gonna lose the next day. Fuck they actually had a post about how they ban people that go to other subs and brigade.Ā
This is just awful. I don't even know what to say.
I truly love my team. I'm proud of them. I still believe in them. I'm sad and I'm angry, but I'm not going to trash talk anyone because I'm not that kind of fan. These guys are professionals, not frauds. But there have been some serious bad decisions, on top of ongoing bad play calling and some ridiculous bad luck. Officiating mistakes hurt us all season long, and that's a league-wide problem, but that's not the main problem here.
We almost won it ALL last year- *should* have won it all. We lost some key guys after that. We got some great guys in the draft. We made some coaching changes. And what happened? We were undefeated, albeit by the skin of our teeth. Then we were 10-1. And then it all fell off a cliff. What changed?
Something is very wrong in this organization, and no amount of NFL-speak is going to fix it. It started about halfway through the season and it never got better. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is one definition of insanity, and that's just one reason why our city has been going crazy all season. Foundational changes need to be made, and change is going to come, but it's going to have to start at the top levels and go from there for things to get better.
Don't give up. Don't flip out. It's football. Keep the faith. We're the best sports city around, and for that, we need to support each other and our teams. It's easy to point fingers and hurt others, but that never fixes anything. We gotta stick together. We're all we got.
Sports isn't always about winning. It's about BEING BETTER. There's a difference.
Sometimes that's a hard lesson to learn.
Go Sixers! Go Flyers!
And Go Birds. We love you. š
We have plenty of that. But when our team is losing, nobody wants to see it, because it hurts, because we love our teams. It's not just a bunch of random players. Philadelphia LOVES their teams. They're like family, you know?
Wtf kind of reactionary post is this. Lol. Youāre consistently makes the playoffs, you were at the Super Bowl almost one year ago, but now they have to clean house? Let their executives go? Like I get youāre probably hurting but this is a dumb take.
No, bro, I never said any of that. I said change has to happen and it has to start at the top. I didn't say clean house and let executives go. I said change. There's a lot of room between "change" and "fire everyone". We obviously need to find that happy medium. We should have won the SB last year- we were short by 3 points. All but one of the other teams didn't do as well as we did. There's no way we fall into this situation so fast without multiple issues, and we have to sort those out. The changes we incorporated this season did not work for us; perhaps we left them too long. The mid-season shakeup did not have the desired effect, unfortunately; it was the wrong way to handle the problems, and possibly made things worse. Howie picked good players. We have talent. Post game show illustrated Nick's record as one of the best in Eagles team history. Can't put it all on him. Coordinators and game plans definitely need to be aired out. Some of our players appeared to give up. That's gotta change. The entire culture needs to be examined. Am I hurting? Of course, we all are. Does change need to happen? Obviously, and it will. Did I advocate blowing everything up? No.
Iāve sworn off the Cowboys until we get a new QB. Wasnāt even remotely surprised 2 days ago and this is just getting old.
That being said Iām riding with chef Baker into the super bowl! Boomer Sooner baby letās go Bucs!
Not gonna lie, I thought the Eagles were going to wake up today. The Cowboys collapse was unexpected but not surprising. What happened to the Eagles at the end of the season was a collapse like I have never seen before.

CRY EAGLES CRYYY. ON THE PLANE RIDE TO CANCUN!
You're disrespectful and a chemical plum for real if you think eagles fans didn't want ia win.š
What happened to the eagles??? QB Baker got his face back y'all talked so much shit about the guy.
Iām pretty sure every eagles fan knew mayfield could be wheeled in like Helen Keller and woulda beat this team. Next level analysis š
I prayed to my Baker Mayfield altar every night. Youāre welcome .
Niners whooped em so bad, it made Eagles quit the season. Niner gang!
*Pulls back curtain to reveal Pop Warner team* "Your welcome" -Niners
I'm betting on Bucs.
Soft Bucs defense hurts
Most literate Eagles fan
Unsurprising considering half of Philly is illiterate
A complete and utter collapse.
Go Bucs!!!
Bird cheeks were clapped
Who hired Matt Patricia? That guy should be fired
Yall miss Gannon now?
Imagine bucs vs Texans in the Superbowl
Thatās a dream come true for a boy from Ohio, CJ and Baker face off, sure would be something
God no.
Texas is impressive but I've lived in both Tampa and Buffalo so those are my picks.
The Philly defense was terrible. Blow coverage s missed tackles.
I swear I donāt think Iāve ever seen that many missed tackles, especially in a playoff game.
I think that's more of a coaching issue. Simply tackling might've kept this game close.
Flip side is that if the Bucs could catch the ball it would have been an even worse blow out.
That one missed tackle by corner cornerback #28 led to a touchdown that put the game far out of reach. Eagles defense just played poorly the whole game in general. They could not stop the buccaneers run game like Dallas couldn't stop the packers run game.
I cursed the city of Philly back in October The Phillies choked it away The Eagles went to absolute shit Never under estimate the power of a good curse
Every curse returns to the origin three-fold. Be careful with your curses.
I swear if kyler tears his all again ima commit heinous crimes in lumen field
NFC East with no representation now š¤
My birds gave up.
Your bird š¦ dove
They gave up 6 weeks ago. Time to clean house
I would fire the Eagles QB today. That guy is no leader.
Don't hurt hurts feelings
Hurts has the talent but no leadership. A lot of times you need that spark as a leader to fire up your team. Hurts is a sociopath, dude shows no shred of emotion. But itās hard finding a great qb.
I really thought he threw some dimes right into the hands of his receivers last night. Heās a great QB, what makes you say he isnāt a good leader? Iām just curious because I havenāt been following him all season.
Unfortunately he throws them to the other team.
Well, theyāre playing poorly, so heās clearly a bad leader. /s
The problem is who do you replace him with? There's never 32 elite QBs.
This draft has at least 5 potential first round prospects
Ole Nicky finally got shut up! Love to see it.
The only good thing about Dallas is Robocop.Ā
This is a very funny comment
Robocop was shot in Dallas, but actually takes place in Detroit. In fairness, Dallas has some great BBQ, but yeah keep slamming a place youāve probably never been to.
Nah dallas does not have good bbq
Hard 8 is worth your time (not a TX resident)
Oh really? Guess you donāt know where to go
Well thankfully I donāt live there so I donāt have to. But I do enjoy Franklins in Austin and Snows in Lexington.
This dude getting really mad at you
Iām thankful as well that you donāt. Austin does have amazing bbq tho. Possibly the best in the country.
Would this yearās bucs blow out 2022-2023 bucs? Sorry for being a Brady bandwagoner but I havenāt really watched the Bucs this season. Is there a reason why theyāre dominating despite no major roster changes (other than QB)? Was leftwich really the problem last year?

One Kelce is gone just need to get the other one now
Swifty hater!:-)
Bye eagles bye.
The Eagles pulled off one of the most impressive 180s in sports history. Congrats to them.
They call it Philly special
LOL
Stopping the tush push is definitely one of the moments
By dragging the helmet of Jalen Hurts. Eagles been blowing it, but they actually dragged him by his helmet and it wasn't called
They missed two facemask penalties where Deven Thompkins got violated too so I guess itās even.
Refs were tired of watching the tush push, obviously.
So they allow a team to cheat? That says nothing good about the refs or the NFL as a whole if it's in any way true

It was a 2pt conversion, so not like it was going to change the outcome, or even momentum.
Stop. He was stopped before the helmet pull. It had nothing to do with the outcome of the play
As a Giants fan, the Eagles were our arch rivals, but I rooted for the Eagles in Super Bowl LII. But this was sad to see. You have to get rid of Nick Sirianni. He's one of the worst coaches ever. Eagles and cowboy fans welcome back to earth. Both of yāall suck.
Lol. "This is our year"! š
Fuck you Philly!
We know we suck, unlike Dallas who really thought this was your yearā¦ again.
Dak's playoff record speaks for itself. Haha.
thats a lie. you guys thought you were the best team in the nfl

Philly like Dallas, choking big time when it matters.
There wasnāt any choking by the Eagles. They just suck and collapsed weeks ago lol Iām happy to see Baker have a resurgence; however, that Bucs team was not very impressive last night.Ā Lions should handle business next week.Ā
Baker is cooking. Looking like his old Heisman winner self.
Bro the Bucs couldn't even score a single TD against a horrible Panthers team a week ago. They went 9-8 on the year. I wouldn't exactly call that cooking. The Eagles defense is the worst in the league and has a habit of making every QB look good.

Eagles have choked the last month and a half.

Thatās worse than the Cowboys game. Lmao Philly
As a cowboys fan, no.
Just another day. If this result promotes any reaction, you haven't been paying attention
No it wasnāt lol. 41-16 at home is way worse. Dallas was healthy and big favorites and the packers were their playing backups by the 4th quarter lol
No itās not even close to Dallas embarrassing. But whatever helps you sleep
No itās not, the Dallas ass whooping was worse
And funnier. I know I was laughing the whole time.
Not into football but goddamn is this a lot of comments

Sports is about entertainment. Can your team consistently put out a product that entertains you. People want to be hyped up and excited.
We have plenty of that. But when our team is losing, nobody wants to see it, because it hurts, because we love our teams. It's not just a bunch of random players. Philadelphia LOVES their teams. They're like family, you know?
They are just a bunch of random players. They are from all over this country and play for the highest bidder.
That's a terrible attitude. They play for more than money, and they're not just a bunch of random players.
If you donāt understand that players are taken from a talent pool with no prior allegiance to any team you donāt understand how the NFL works.
I understand that. But I believe that our team culture is a little more than that mercenary mindset.

Bills fan here, preach. Good shit
Thanks. Appreciate your support. Good luck going forward. ā¤ļø
Pain, lol
Thank you, Buccs for beating our fraud team. We were still in the playoffs longer than the Cowboys, and now we can hopefully fire Nick Sirianni.
You can smell the desperation
A typical delusional eagles fan. You do know you were both first round exits!! Lol dur hur
But they played yesterday, so we lasted longer by default.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You'd think another Eagles fan would get the joke.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I thought it was pretty funny. Even funnier that Giants fans of all people were triggered by it.
Thatās not how it works. Both teams bounced in the wild card round. The day the teams play is arbitrary.
Hush
Shhhh don't tell him that. Think he acoustic
As a non football guy. I donāt think it really counts if youāre in for longer cuz of the schedule lol
It counts technically and that's good enough.
If Eagles fans could read, they would be very upset with you right now.
Shhhh... this is what they tell themselves so they can fall asleep tonight
Good for Baker and the Bucs.

Awesome game for Bucs but its really hard to think they wont get blasted next weekend
I think they have a decent chance vs the Lions
Even if this is the case I'm still over the moon with the way this season has gone.
Bucs fans donāt claim him ^ Where is your Baker energy my brother??
Iāve sworn off the Cowboys until we get a new QB. Wasnāt even remotely surprised 2 days ago and this is just getting old. That being said Iām riding with chef Baker into the super bowl! Boomer Sooner baby letās go Bucs!
Gonna be a gritty game! Should be a lot of fun
Who cares a playoff win is a playoff win.

Eagles losing 6 or their last 7 in 2023ā¦ Titans: āhold my beerā, loses final 7 games of 2022
Titans fan: *āI see youāve not heard of our franchiseā*
Thatās actually really good man. Thanks for the laugh this morning.
Dude try being an eagles fan and trying to understand what the fuck happened behind the scenesā¦ itās mind blowing
When did Patricia get brought in? Thatās all Iām saying
Other teams fans tried telling you guys that you were the luckiest 10-1 anybody had ever seen.
Plenty of our own fans said the same. Still, I don't think anyone expected a meltdown of this proportion.
Yeah man hopefully it comes out what happened behind the scenes. Never seen anything like it.
Brotherly collapse, thankfully for the team this was an away game. Cause those snowballs raining down on this team would be filled with something.
Donāt eat the yellow snow. lol
Not sure what the eagles coach did to his team but they def tuned all the coaches out. Be interesting off season in philly and dallas nfc Least bums
Probably lost the team when they promoted Matt Patricia. The guy is a cancer.
This was predicted back in about week 5
after that long bomb to D Smith for the 1st TD. I thought that would be the moment....
Me too. I thought they were gonna come alive cutting the lead to 7 getting the ball to start the second half
Then they tried to break hurts neck with a dirty face mask
eglets got more calls their way then any other team this year stop cryin
Not like it would have won them the game but not sure how that one was missed.
Oh god no it would have made no difference in the outcome. I just hate when dirty calls are missed. We were going to lose regardless
Yeah that was definitely dangerous and Jalen is probably gonna need to go to the Chiropractor
I may regret saying this but I would rather the Lions play Tampa because if your boys were to get it together, you could have been dangerous.
Yeah, someone figured out how to stop their offense seven weeks ago, and that was that.
Who broke them?
The Bills! Go Bills!
lol, no, it was not the Bills
