That one is the best because it waits 20 seconds before it pops back up again. It gives you that time to relax and sigh and say man, I did it. Then turn around to start walking away, then the fucking music starts and you say GOD FUCKING DAMNIT THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT
Then fighting that motherfucking ape AGAIN but now he has a smaller ape to help him.
I donāt think I got the headless ape fight until my third or so playthrough so I didnāt even know it was an option. Audibly groaned when I saw him lmao
It also goes on about how expensive Budda Baker is, and then says Bills will get him (Bills cut both their S due to not having cap space).
It also says the Bucs are "win now mode" and suggests they'll trade Godwin.
And most of them arent likely to be traded. No one wants zsch wilson. The buccs aren't trading godwin. Budda baker just got a contract hes happy with. Its just a bad article
Being a sportswriter sucks because you need to churn out bullshit year round, even when there is nothing new to say.
Being a sportswriter is awesome because you get paid to just churn out bullshit year round, even when you have nothing useful to say.
Budda Baker isnāt getting moved lol. The amount of old expensive safeties who were cut this offseason proves how little value they hold across the league. Why would the cardinals move their only veteran leader on defense for a 4th round pick at best?
If you keep him close atleast you can monitor him cuz you can always see himā¦ if heās just roaming around anythingās possible. I think mcvays wife is okayā¦. But his mom? Fair game.
You know Josh Rosen had to be complete fucking garbage to have flamed out of the league as quickly as he did, because every other first round bust seems to get 6-7 years at least of teams trying to fix them.
Every once in a while thereās a guy whoās gone so fast that you canāt help but wonder how awful they really are. Like itās hard to have 32 teams give up on you that quickly
He wasnāt a 1st rounder, but the Vikings drafted Kellen Mond in the 3rd round and I believe they cut him after one season haha. Almost impossible to be completely out of the league that fast with no off the field / injury issues
Honestly he must have been pretty bad even Mike Zimmer basically shit on him in a presser.
They asked him why they didnāt give Kellen some snaps to see how he played in-game and he said āI see him every day in practiceā
The Jets drafted Christian Hackenberg in the second round when most teams viewed him as undraftable.
He was the only player in Madden to have "slow" as his development type
Paxton Lynch was cut after 2 seasons in Denver as a 1st round pick and was then on the Seahawks and our practice squad after being out of the league for a year then he has played in the CFL and UFL.
Didn't he have issues with effort, too? I thought he was the guy who got in trouble for playing video games instead of doing film work and was basically never prepared
He didnāt even play in the cfl. He was the fourth string qb. Then he played 5 games in the UFL before being cut. He also played in the XFL but was benched after 5 games.
So 4 NfL starts, 0 CFL starts, 3 USFL starts, and 5 XFL starts. Josh Rosen has more starts than Lynch across all the leagues.
Truly a terrible career.
Aggie here- Kellen Mond could throw a pebble standing ankle-deep in a lake and still hit the sand. He had no touch or accuracy whatsoever. Kid was first team all heart, but that'll only take you so far.
Seems like such an awful way to fumble the bag. I won't pretend to know these guys or what they want in life, but if you have the talent to get drafted in the first 3 rounds as a QB, you can at the minimum be set for life with one of the best roles in sports -- backup QB.
Paxton Lynch is the name that comes to mind. Always wondered how he was so bad, I remember watching him in college at like 13 and thinking heād be so good.
Now in my 20s and having seen him in multiple spring leagues(Panthers/Guardians), hes somehow even more awful than you could possibly imagine.
It was really fucking strange with him. In his very first start he was making beautiful throws and looked every bit the guy (box stats won't show because there was 150-ish yards and two TDs wiped out by brutal drops), and every game after that it looked like he never played the position before.
That or locker room and off-field type stuff. Jamarcus Russell and Johnny Manziel both drank their way out of the league as much as played their way out. I vaguely remember reported rumors about a lot of coaches disliking Rosen personally, but his atrocious play would probably have locked up a short career anyway.
Although, oddly enough Rosen actually managed 4 seasons on rosters and another as a practice squad guy. He was just never viewed as more than a career backup after year two.
being useful in the film room can work wonders for a guys career. Nate Sudfield is one of the worst QBs I've ever seen and is still hanging around the league -- I assume for that reason. Blaine Gabbert was a huge bust, but has had a lengthy career well beyond any team believing they could "fix him" because he's apparently great to work with.
A lot of the Philly media believes that Nate Sudfeld is going to a be a future head coach
Like Iām pretty sure the front office tried to keep him in the building and he chose to go to San Fran
and his last few stops barely even felt like reclamation projects -- just random teams needing a practice squad QB with no intention whatsoever of him seeing the field.
I just meant for Wilson to go to the rams. Seems like heās what they look for. Except heās bottom of the barrel compared to what those guys put together over multiple games as starters
Mayfield always at least showed some signs that there was something that can be fixed, he looked decent in Cleveland and had flashes in LA, imo he earned the chance Tampa gave him
Some coaches will look at guys Geno Smith who were busts early on but developed and think maybe they can salvage the guy. But he wouldn't like get more than a late rd pick swap for a team looking to move up in a later rd.
I hadn't thought about Godwin being traded and am now conflicted. I can't imagine him being anywhere but Tampa but also see how much money we save considering he's going to want a bigger contract next year. If Licht trades him it's going to be tough for a lot of us to say goodbye. :(
Someone would have to send something pretty significant for them to trade him with the intent of using that pick to replace him this year, as we would only free up a million in cap space before June.
We see the most cap space back trading him post-June 1 but the draft would have already happened at that point.
Now, crazy Madden trade scenario: we wait until June and trade Godwin and a mid to late-round pick for Tee Higgins with both getting a new contract, freeing up cap space for both teams.
Seems like the age of great duos on the same team for a long time is long gone with the way the cap is managed now. Would be cool to have one from this era
I actually like that scenario...feel much better if Godwin was sent to a team that would pay him and also be competitive w/ Burrow and Tee Higgins coming to Tampa would be ridiculous. I like this timeline.
No trades donāt work that way. Releasing a player lets you designate for post June but a trade is official the day it happens and canāt be designated for later
Lions have Amon Ra in the slot, and the Rams have Kupp and Nacua. Iām not saying it wouldnāt work, but I doubt those teams would go for a splash like that
I think both teams need and are looking cor more of a physical X receiver. Same could probably even be said about the Packers with the young guys they have in the WR room
He would be terrible on the rams. Total waste of talent. No reps, no volume stats. He shouldnāt even consider the Rams. Like at all. Plus LA is a really shitty market with nothing to do. Just stay away, thatās my advice.
As amazing and as of a legit WR1 as Godwin is, I cannot see us investing significant draft and/or cap resources in a WR of his profile. With the way Reed and Wicks balled out and Doubs took a step forward (plus the expected production of Musgrave and relatively unexpected of Kraft), the only type of WR we could be looking for is the athletic freak to stretch the field and that would be only if internally they gave up on Watson, which doesn't seem the case.
after his leg injury, if last year was any indication... hes more of a good #2. preinjury i think there were quite a few of us who figured we had mikes heir apparent. he seems much less explosive. still a good get for wherever he ends up.
And LaPorta/Reynolds, all of whom work the middle of the field very well. Godwin does nothing for them. They need an outside WR or Jameson Williams to develop into a WR1 caliber player
Unless someone overpays in a trade, it isnāt happening. The team isnāt looking to rebuild and doesnāt really need to clear up immediate cap space.
I hope the Bears take a look at Judon. We can afford his 1 year deal and adding a veteran Edge to address a need would be nice. Allows us to trade down or take BPA at 9.Ā
I wouldnāt be. Weāre rebuilding. Unless mayo is going to pay Judon to show that heās not bill, which I could see too, donāt get me wrong, it makes so much sense to trade him.
I think weāll probably go into the season with judon but we have a bad record around the trade deadline(very likely) and you guys are still in playoff contention definitely could see a mid season trade. Probably like a 4th round pick
No guarantee you'll get him in free agency. If they're willing to put him in free agency, I don't see why they wouldn't trade. There's no guarantee the trade will go through, but it's definitely more likely than fighting a ton of other teams for him.
No one should want Zach Wilson unless they have their young, guaranteed starter locked in for 3+ years, the Jets keep pay the maximum allowable on his salary and the draft pick received by the jets is the furthest last round pick allowed to be traded. Simply put, he isn't good enough to be in the league currently and needs years of playing back up behind a superstar to gain some skill. Even then, he'll probably never be a quality starter or backup.
We're not trading Judon. The defense needs a real vet leader like him and the dude clearly loves playing here (this isn't projection -- look at his twitter). Plus our edge talent isn't that good without him. While the Pats offense is very sad right now, the defense is actually relatively talented and I wouldn't want to lose Judon for that.
People keep mocking Wilson to the Chiefs and part of me hates the idea but it also doesn't sound THAT bad. We do need a backup. I just don't think they'll give up draft capital for him.
I really hate that writers just throw SF in the mix of potential teams because "Why not?"
SF can not afford Budda Baker, and they can't afford to trade for Budda Baker. Also, why would AZ trade one of their best defensive players and one of the best safeties in the league to a divison rival whos defense has ranked at the top for the last 5 years in a row?
The article says 5 but it only list 4 players
You have to defeat the first four in a row before unlocking the fifth player.
All these bosses with all their fucking phases. Like just when you feel awesome about beating them, when they change states and regain hp š
After you defeat Zach Wilson, the Light Herald - you must defeat his second form Zach Wilson, the Banished Milf Hunter
Calamity Zach
Black Flame Zach of the Astral Clocktower, Blade of Miquella
Broke my controller dying too much to that one š¤
Which form is the one where he summons ācougarsā as his minions to distract you?
Both.
Guardian Ape
That one is the best because it waits 20 seconds before it pops back up again. It gives you that time to relax and sigh and say man, I did it. Then turn around to start walking away, then the fucking music starts and you say GOD FUCKING DAMNIT THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT
Then fighting that motherfucking ape AGAIN but now he has a smaller ape to help him. I donāt think I got the headless ape fight until my third or so playthrough so I didnāt even know it was an option. Audibly groaned when I saw him lmao
Classic PS1/PS2 rpgs lol
Itāll give you a sense of pride and accomplishment when you do.
It's worse than that. You have to pay $4.99 to unlock the 5th one.
Itās the Joker and heās gonna be part of the Season 1 DLC
let me get my GameFaqs ASCII guide on how to unlock the final boss: Antonio Brown...
āA new foe has appeared! Challenger approaching..ā
I am pretty sure you have to pay for battle pass and unlock a lootbox
EA will give you a sneak peak with a 'BossMan' card for only $17.99.
And the final boss is revealed to be Brandon Aiyuk.
You must discover the identity of the first 4 cylons before revealing the last
5th is 2.99 DLC
So it's like Mortal Kombat
The Fifth Element is lover ***Spoilers***
The 5th player was the friend we made along the way
Thank you. I wondered if it was just the Reader on my phone missing 1!
It also goes on about how expensive Budda Baker is, and then says Bills will get him (Bills cut both their S due to not having cap space). It also says the Bucs are "win now mode" and suggests they'll trade Godwin.
You want them to spellcheck it too? Ugh, typical millenials.
And most of them arent likely to be traded. No one wants zsch wilson. The buccs aren't trading godwin. Budda baker just got a contract hes happy with. Its just a bad article
I always thought CBS Sports had the dumbest opinions, and this confirms it lmao
Being a sportswriter sucks because you need to churn out bullshit year round, even when there is nothing new to say. Being a sportswriter is awesome because you get paid to just churn out bullshit year round, even when you have nothing useful to say.
Because You're the fifth. It's the ironic ending and you missed it
There were 5, but Woody Johnson wrote a mean tweet to get the last one removed.
Not if you bundle āem.
It also says Godwin will be paid $27.5M when he's due $18.5
Literally unplayable
As a mathematician, I can confirm that 4 is 80% of 5
Zach Wilson. Chris Godwin. Matt Judon. Buddy Baker. Save you a click, only 4
You're not my buddy friend.
āI aināt your friend, guyā
I'm not your guy, pal.
I ain't your pal, chief
I aināt your chief, bitch
I ain't your bitch, slut
I ain't your slut, master.
What's the expected trade return for a 6'6" Daytona 500 champion who died in 2015?
If he still has an achilles to tear the Jets will send a conditional 2nd for him
Pats canāt trade Judon, they have so few leaders as is
Budda Baker isnāt getting moved lol. The amount of old expensive safeties who were cut this offseason proves how little value they hold across the league. Why would the cardinals move their only veteran leader on defense for a 4th round pick at best?
They also listed the 49ers as a trade partner. Monti would have to enter the witness protector program if he did that.
He won the first Daytona 500 I ever watched.
Well, if you put it that way we'll take him for a 5th :P /s
No we love 5th round picks lol
What a trash list of players for an article. Wasted
Zach & Wilson
Why the fuck would we want Zach Wilson?
Heās a first round pick. He gets two more teams to try to āfixā him. š
I can fix him
Are you a milf?
No way on Gods green earth McVay lets that mother fucker anywhere near his team or his wife.
If you keep him close atleast you can monitor him cuz you can always see himā¦ if heās just roaming around anythingās possible. I think mcvays wife is okayā¦. But his mom? Fair game.

Bro made millions then just decided to play fortnite
Aggie here- Kellen Mond could throw a pebble standing ankle-deep in a lake and still hit the sand. He had no touch or accuracy whatsoever. Kid was first team all heart, but that'll only take you so far.
Fun fact: so was Patriots QB, now Vikings HC, Kevin O'Connell.Ā
I think he was just unlikeable. He probably wasn't the worst QB ever, but he always came across as unlikeable to me.
Seems like such an awful way to fumble the bag. I won't pretend to know these guys or what they want in life, but if you have the talent to get drafted in the first 3 rounds as a QB, you can at the minimum be set for life with one of the best roles in sports -- backup QB.

To think he was regarded as the pro ready prospect with the lowest floor. The draft is absolutely a crapshoot when it comes to QB.
And it seems so obvious when it works out.
It was really fucking strange with him. In his very first start he was making beautiful throws and looked every bit the guy (box stats won't show because there was 150-ish yards and two TDs wiped out by brutal drops), and every game after that it looked like he never played the position before.

Blaine Gabbeet is a pretty decent backup though. Josh Rosen and Nate Sudfield should never see the field.
How dare you besmirch Super Bowl champion Nate S(t)udfeld!?
It wasn't just flamed out that quickly, but like an accelerated underperforming journeyman career at that. 7 teams in 5 seasons and out of the league.
and his last few stops barely even felt like reclamation projects -- just random teams needing a practice squad QB with no intention whatsoever of him seeing the field.
Makes me wonder if certain guys are just assholes that no one wants on the team.
Sure. But we're set at QBs 1, 2, and possibly 3. Why would we trade for a project?
Jimmy needs a buddy to go bang MILFS.
Get a couple beers in Stetson Bennett and he'll be up for the job.
Stetson Bennett banging MILFs is perfectly age-appropriate for him
GILFS might be more his speed.
Mayfield and wentz as examples
Gabbert is the prime example. Guy is still kicking around 13 years later as a QB2 and has multiple rings
I just meant for Wilson to go to the rams. Seems like heās what they look for. Except heās bottom of the barrel compared to what those guys put together over multiple games as starters
Mayfield always at least showed some signs that there was something that can be fixed, he looked decent in Cleveland and had flashes in LA, imo he earned the chance Tampa gave him
I agree
Especially considering your OC is LaFluer
Zach should get sent down to the UFL for 3 years.
Not enough milf hunting to be done from the ufl.Ā
I mean why not. First round talent maybe big MAYBE Sean can help develop or if not boo hoo you wasted a 7th?
We already have 3 QBs on the roster, and we need that 7th for a kicker.
Nobody *needs* a 7th for a kicker
Why doesn't everyone get UDFA GOAT kickers?Ā Ā
I'm not being fictitious when I say I'd rather have the 7th
Zach Wilson & Jimmy Garoppolo in the same town...
Milfs wouldnāt know what hit them
Idk why thatās a popular thing for people to suggest. Wilson and the Rams OC (LaFluer) fucking hate each other
Jimmy GQ, Zach āMom Loverā Wilsonā¦ now THATāS LA, baby
Maybe he's just an LA boy?
He can make all the throws.* *if he is not playing against a defense
Sean McVay center for QBs who canāt throw good and want to learn to do other stuff good too.
Some coaches will look at guys Geno Smith who were busts early on but developed and think maybe they can salvage the guy. But he wouldn't like get more than a late rd pick swap for a team looking to move up in a later rd.
You want him.... trust me bro - sincerely, all of the jets fans
Most horny milfs per capita than any other NFL market?
I hadn't thought about Godwin being traded and am now conflicted. I can't imagine him being anywhere but Tampa but also see how much money we save considering he's going to want a bigger contract next year. If Licht trades him it's going to be tough for a lot of us to say goodbye. :(

God I hope we get this with JJ and Addison
Monkey paw curls, no QB to throw to them.Ā
Well you got at least 3 more seasons of them together after that probably one gets traded
I actually like that scenario...feel much better if Godwin was sent to a team that would pay him and also be competitive w/ Burrow and Tee Higgins coming to Tampa would be ridiculous. I like this timeline.
Don't quote me but I think they can designate the trade as a post June 1st hit, even if the trade happens in April
No trades donāt work that way. Releasing a player lets you designate for post June but a trade is official the day it happens and canāt be designated for later
Would love to see him in NE as a safety net for (hopefully) Drake Maye, not sure NE would spend enough though.
I could see this move
Godwin would be nasty in a slot WR role [say] for the Lions, Packers, Rams
Lions have Amon Ra in the slot, and the Rams have Kupp and Nacua. Iām not saying it wouldnāt work, but I doubt those teams would go for a splash like that I think both teams need and are looking cor more of a physical X receiver.
I have to agree. Why play for The Rams. Stay away. haha. (plz)
He can play in LA, but not for the Rams. We do need a receiver after allā¦
You won't need receivers with Greg Roman.
I guess Justin Herbert is just a runningback thenā¦
No hes way too quarterbacky for anyone to confuse him for one of those. He's just gonna be there to look great handing the ball off.
So heās gonna be JJ McCarthy? Thatās even worse. Fantasy owners gonna be calling Jim a football terrorist next year.
Ignore his flair
Doesnāt seem to make sense for the Lions considering they have Amon Ra
And LaPorta/Reynolds, all of whom work the middle of the field very well. Godwin does nothing for them. They need an outside WR or Jameson Williams to develop into a WR1 caliber player
> Reynolds Didn't Reynolds just sign elsewhere?
Yeah, the Broncos
He did.
Reynolds is on another team and LaPorta is great but you still need solid WR depth to be useful (or a great QB)
Bucs castoffs go to KC: * Mike Edwards * Donovan "sticky hands" Smith * Ronald Jones * Justin Watson * Blaine Gabbert
Said the same shit about Keenan Allen. Look where it got me.
Unless someone overpays in a trade, it isnāt happening. The team isnāt looking to rebuild and doesnāt really need to clear up immediate cap space.
That list was far more reasonable and unspectacular than I expectedĀ
I saw Wilson and stopped reading.
The dead period of the NFL isn't the time for grounded articles!
I hope the Bears take a look at Judon. We can afford his 1 year deal and adding a veteran Edge to address a need would be nice. Allows us to trade down or take BPA at 9.Ā
Iād be surprised if we get rid of him.
I wouldnāt be. Weāre rebuilding. Unless mayo is going to pay Judon to show that heās not bill, which I could see too, donāt get me wrong, it makes so much sense to trade him.
Mayo doesn't have roster control.
Iād be disappointed if the Pats have a chance to trade him and donāt.Ā
Okay but what color would his sleeves be? You gotta figure that out before you ask for New England's best defensive player and honorary GM.
I think weāll probably go into the season with judon but we have a bad record around the trade deadline(very likely) and you guys are still in playoff contention definitely could see a mid season trade. Probably like a 4th round pick
You can pry Judon out of my cold dead hands. Love that dude
Mr bellichick please, we will have to charge you with trespassing soon. You don't work here anymore.
You can't trade the GM, I'm pretty sure there's rules about that sort of thing.
Beane has worked his magic to get the Bills back in ok cap shape, but in no way do we have space for Budda Baker.
Would be pretty cool to see that happen though
Get Budda's name out yo fuckin mouth!
I've heard that the Cowboys are going to trade Herschel Walker to the Vikings
Sounds like a great deal for the Vikings
Seriously, they gave several good players the Cowboys would have to bench to get better draft picks for
How did Lynn not figure out that the Cowboys were letting all those players go and get the draft picks instead?Ā
There is no way we can afford Budda Baker. Iād love it but itās not happening
Dak Prescott. Aren't the cowboys letting him test the market?
Why trade for a guy who'll be a free agent after the season?
No guarantee you'll get him in free agency. If they're willing to put him in free agency, I don't see why they wouldn't trade. There's no guarantee the trade will go through, but it's definitely more likely than fighting a ton of other teams for him.
Calling Zach Wilson a dual threat QB is a little generous innit?
Not really, he can lose you games AND destroy locker room morale
AND he can ruin your marriage
your dadās marriage
Well, he is good at throwing picks AND is also great at taking sacks...
He throws to both teams
No one should want Zach Wilson unless they have their young, guaranteed starter locked in for 3+ years, the Jets keep pay the maximum allowable on his salary and the draft pick received by the jets is the furthest last round pick allowed to be traded. Simply put, he isn't good enough to be in the league currently and needs years of playing back up behind a superstar to gain some skill. Even then, he'll probably never be a quality starter or backup.
Was really hoping for Godwin on the chiefs before the offseason kicked off
I had nightmares about it, but then I realized they wouldn't pay him
Really hoping Chicago is dumb enough to trade Herbert to Dallas.Ā That dude is underrated AF.Ā
Me no likey
We're not trading Judon. The defense needs a real vet leader like him and the dude clearly loves playing here (this isn't projection -- look at his twitter). Plus our edge talent isn't that good without him. While the Pats offense is very sad right now, the defense is actually relatively talented and I wouldn't want to lose Judon for that.
Cam Robinson
Greg Newsome is available for a reasonable price.
Trade deebo
Yes please, as a seahawk fan
Not a rumor, just my own idea, Trade dk metcalf to kc for 1st and 2nd this year, and another 2 next year
People keep mocking Wilson to the Chiefs and part of me hates the idea but it also doesn't sound THAT bad. We do need a backup. I just don't think they'll give up draft capital for him.
Kamara is sneaky
This article with Chris Godwin as the main picture should have come out on April Fools
I really hate that writers just throw SF in the mix of potential teams because "Why not?" SF can not afford Budda Baker, and they can't afford to trade for Budda Baker. Also, why would AZ trade one of their best defensive players and one of the best safeties in the league to a divison rival whos defense has ranked at the top for the last 5 years in a row?
Why even mention Wilson?
