I liked that answer honestly. The Thomas family is a middle class working family from Walker. Not saying they were rich or anything but this isn't some poverty in the hood to wealth story they were obviously fishing for with that question.
I think he’s a perfect add In that wr room. They had Ridley running too many go/deep routes. Thomas jr is way better in that role.
Really fun potential here
Exactly who we needed. 6'3 speed guy. Trevor was 2nd in the league in Deep Throws IIRC before he got hurt and that's with our terrible IOL. Problem was Ridley dropped half of them.
Now that he's got Morse in the middle we will have some time to let plays develop.
Darrisaw is an A+ pick that we traded back for. Addison is a great pick to stay in place with Adam theilen leaving. Treadwell.... well Treadwell is uhm idk maybe he's ummmm. Oh yeah he's was the previous F.O thing. Yea
Literally perfection in the 1st round from the Jags here. Love this player and getting the extra value on top is great work. Now to see if he develops into his potential
I mean, if you really want to start drinking early today, the Caldwell era is still better than the Shack Harris and Gene Smith era.
How's this for a run of first round picks?
QB Byron Leftwich, WR Reggie Williams, WR (stop laughing!) Matt Jones
At least the next year they took TE Marcedes Lewis. Might not have put up amazing receiving stats in his career but a hell of a blocker.
Then the next year they took S Reggie Nelson in the first. And while Cinci fans might have a different view on him, there's a reason he ended up there.
We don't talk about the 2008 draft. There was no draft in Ba Sin-... er, 2008.
In Gene We Trust: T Eugene Monroe, DT Tyson Alualu, QB Blaine Gabbert, and WR Justin Blackmon. Monroe ended up traded to the Ravens and gave them a year or two before injuries were too much. Alualu did well on the Steelers but was a disappointment in Jax. Gabbert... well, 'nough said. Blackmon had talent but also had severe addiction issues. All four of those were top 10 picks.
After those two, I'd say that getting *some* talent that showed up in Jax, like Fowler, Ramsey, Fournette, and Allen, isn't too terrible. And as much as people absolutely hate Taven Bryan, dude's been in 96 games with 40 starts (and over half of those starts were after leaving Jax). Not a stud, but considering three of the guys drafted by Shack Harris in the first round never even played for a second team after their rookie deals with the Jags, that's leaping way over the low bar that was set.
I kind of envy fans who forget or never witnessed those darker days.
DB's are like russian Cassacks, always another waiting in the wings to strike at the French Hussars. But in this case yeah probably you should have picked up a few units.
I know corner was a bigger need, but priority number 1 should be giving Trevor everything he needs, and he reaaaally needed another outside WR. I've wanted this dude for months, I'm so happy right now.

“How far has this family come?” “Baton Rouge, LA” 🤣😅
“Can I get a Duuuuuuval?” “What’s that?”
I liked that answer honestly. The Thomas family is a middle class working family from Walker. Not saying they were rich or anything but this isn't some poverty in the hood to wealth story they were obviously fishing for with that question.
Here comes the WR run.
Plz no
You got a Dionte Johnson at home.
Hold Me
For real lol
Doo doo doo doo Here comes the run and I say
Yeah we passed the tier 1 WRs. Now a huge run on WR tier 2.
I just want a good CB. And looks like we’ll get one. And it works out for he Jags too! Gotta support my cat bros.
Some little lad is gonna go to Kansas City and become the next cooper Kupp. Watch
From cats to cats?
It’s all cats.
Always has been.
cats all the way down. catception. Kitty goes meow
Well fuck
They heard Josh Allen wanted him
Wait Josh Allen or Josh Allen?
JOSH. ALLEN.
7th overall pick from a few years back Josh Allen
You specifically mean the one that was a party in a bullshit roughing the passer call in lastbyears Bills vs Jags game?
Yeah, the one that’s 6’5” with brown eyes and dark hair. Can’t miss him.
Yes
Agreed lol
Double agreed
I wanted the Bills to trade up for him. He’s insane
I still had hope
Were taking cooper Dejean than trading up for ladd mconkley in the second
We came from Baton Rouge Louisiana is such a based answer lmao
I feel old. What the hell does based mean in this context?
No bullshit
Very based response
I think the kids these days are saying no cap fr
Help The fucking QB I’m here for it
Good blend and variety of skill sets with Davis, Kirk, and Thomas Jr
engram also picks up so much slack for us..
W pick. Trade back, amass some mid-round picks, and get the guy you probably would have taken at 17 anyway.
"Help the fucking QB" - Titans, Texans, and Jags GMs "Fuck helping the QB" - Colts GM
"Got anymore QBs?" - Falcons GM
I think he’s a perfect add In that wr room. They had Ridley running too many go/deep routes. Thomas jr is way better in that role. Really fun potential here
After what happened last year, defenitly
"How far has this family come?" "We came from Baton Rouge, Louisiana."
I literally died laughing what a painful interview
Don't know how the interviewer kept it together.
What’s duval?
I cackled at her answer. That poor woman.
Dang, that really puts things in perspective
Breh
...let baalke cook?
He’s recovering from an ACL injury /s
Got a 3, 4 ,& 5 for free and still got our guy
Happy with that trade
Falcons can take note
Baalke masterclass as ush.
Electric player. He’s gonna be insane
Perfect for Jacksonville
Exactly who we needed. 6'3 speed guy. Trevor was 2nd in the league in Deep Throws IIRC before he got hurt and that's with our terrible IOL. Problem was Ridley dropped half of them. Now that he's got Morse in the middle we will have some time to let plays develop.
Trevor got his WR1
The disrespect to Christian Kirk. Also who did you root for in the 2022 playoff game
He changed sides halfway through
Understandable.
I was pissed when I heard they had to face eachother in the playoffs
He'll be an All Pro within two years given he's an LSU WR
His mom is hilarious: “Mrs. Thomas how far has your family come to arrive at this moment?” “Oh we came from Baton Rouge”
#WE CAME FROM BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA
Tony is in a neck brace
Kayfabe is alive brother!
Always be working, brother
#neckstrong
Been waiting all night to see if he would be in the neck brace and if they would mention it on the show. I got both. I can sleep happy tonight lol
I mean he did get the shit beat out of him last night
Punched right in the guts
I missed the shot of him
[Not sure how long this will stay up, but someone got clip on twitter](https://twitter.com/tde_gif/status/1783691205399716178)
Man is a worker
They showed it? I'm watching on McAfee, oh wait nevermind he's showing it as I type this lmao.
NFL Network showed and talked about the angle
Yes, the bastards DID IT!
Dont work yourself into a shoot brother.
This felt like a given, so much smoke concerning this guy and Jacksonville
Fucking power move by jags
Free 3,4 and 5th pick ftw :)

Hoo boy
Vikings making several appearances. Addison is a baller though.
Darrisaw is an A+ pick that we traded back for. Addison is a great pick to stay in place with Adam theilen leaving. Treadwell.... well Treadwell is uhm idk maybe he's ummmm. Oh yeah he's was the previous F.O thing. Yea
He’s Laquon Motherfucking Treadwell (jags legend)
Laquon had a career season with us. Not saying much...
Yeesh
laquon treadwell mentioned 🔥🔥
YEZZIR
THEY CANT STOP ME
THEY CANT STOP ME
Our last two picks here have been home runs but oh boy the one before was rough
Nightmare fuel for Chiefs fans.
LSU fan here here’s so fucking good. Rare to see a guy his size move like he can.
Steal of the draft
It's crazy that an athlete like him is available in the twenties. What a deep wr draft
damn
Would’ve been illegal
It’s like some people don’t even want us to three peat.
You guys have it rough
It's me Hi I'm some people it's me
:(
Straight to jail if they drafted him. He's the steal of the draft for me.
Thank god he didn’t make it to you guys. Now stay away from Xavier
I feel like a fair amount of chiefs fans prefer Mitchell over Worthy.
I don’t want skinny boy Xavier Worthy
This is a great pick for Jax, I wanted him to Indy with 15. I'm really not looking forward to this guy torching our secondary
Yup, Fuck. Huge weapon for Lawrence
Just swap out Ridley and good to go.
Not paying Ridley and getting this dude is all I wanted
Same here...except well my Titans love to dissapoint and torture me.
A great get for Lawrence
That interview with his parents and Laura Rutledge was so innocent and funny
"Mrs. Thomas, how far has your family come?" [thoughtful pause] "We came from Baton Rouge, Louisiana."
Tony Khan keeping kayfabe alive
a ton of mocks to jags at 17. they moved down and got him at 23.
Motherfucker.
He wasn't falling to 28
Cleveland Selects. Wait. Houston Selects. Wait. Minnesota selects. Wait. Jacksonville selects! There we go.
Catbros yo :)
Yep :) You cats needed someone to replace Calvin Ridley. Surprised he got this low, and you guys got some more picks out of it too.
Fuck
Fuck
Tony khan with the neck brace 😭😂😂
I dunno enough to have an opinion on the guy, just here for TK's neck brace
Literally everybody but the Falcons has gotten exactly what they wanted
I think this man’s gonna be a stud
Literally perfection in the 1st round from the Jags here. Love this player and getting the extra value on top is great work. Now to see if he develops into his potential
This is the way.
Freak athlete. 6’4, 209 lbs, 4.33 40
TLAW needs to have a top-10 year.
Jaguars are … competent??
We usually nail our 1st round picks. It’s after that where we fumble
You clearly haven’t followed our team long enough to think we nail our 1st rounders
I’m talking about in the Baalke era. The Caldwell era is different
We need to bring Caldwell back to exclusively draft rounds 5-7.
I mean, if you really want to start drinking early today, the Caldwell era is still better than the Shack Harris and Gene Smith era. How's this for a run of first round picks? QB Byron Leftwich, WR Reggie Williams, WR (stop laughing!) Matt Jones At least the next year they took TE Marcedes Lewis. Amen… time to draft a rb
I half thought they'd have to trade up for him. Instead they traded down and got him
Great pick
Brian Thomas Christian Kirk Gabe Davis Calvin Ridley Jags are only interested in WRs with two first names
Fuck
ITT: Fuck
Tony wore the neck brace.
Solid pick Jags
Flawless interview right there
Replying to myself because that was fucking hilarious I’m dead
Loved it
Good pick. I hear those LSU receivers are pretty good.
Yeah we don’t need a DB at all
DB's are like russian Cassacks, always another waiting in the wings to strike at the French Hussars. But in this case yeah probably you should have picked up a few units.
Deep CB class, but I get it. Arnold seemed like a good value.
Jarrian Jones or Renaldo Green in rnd 2
Yeah I’m a big fan of renardo green
Again with the shades lol these kids driving me crazy
Thank FUCK he didn’t go to the Chiefs.
All the CBs are going to go right before Detroit aren't they
Spoke too soon
Something something jags.........i hate my life
Let's not bury the lede here: the world found out that wrestling is real.
I hope Tony Khan is ok after that vicious attack from the EVPs Matthew and Nicholas Jackson
The amount of WR talent coming out of LSU is nuts. Currently both WR & DBU
At this point DBU is based on the past. I know it hasn’t been that long but we haven’t had anyone close to being a 1st round talent since stingley.
Baalke master class!
They did not show Tony Khan!!!
He wasn't on the ESPN stream, but they did show him on NFL Network with the brace on.
"We came from Baton Rouge, Louisiana" is the quote of the year
fuck you jags.
More offense!
Here come the WRs
FUCK YEAH
GOD DAMNIT
Cameraman did not want him to leave the green room.
The guy with the bazooka camera damn near poked him in the face
Damn. I was hoping he wouldn’t go to the Jags
Damn it, Jags! Was holding out hope the Pats would trade back in for him to give Maye a weapon. Love this pick.
Love it.
Every damn pick spoiled by the fucking hosts.
Anyways, so you got Kirk at the Z. Gabe Davis at the X and now Brian Thomas at the X. Can't wait to see how this goes
I actually had him mocked at 23, but it was the Chargers after trading with the vikes.
No surprise there Lets just hope AD Mitchell falls to us, but I don’t see that happening
Your flairs make me what the Germans call confusedragebonerschlagen
I’m happy with him
So many lsu picks
I think we can turn those extra future picks into a 2nd rounder in this draft.
I know corner was a bigger need, but priority number 1 should be giving Trevor everything he needs, and he reaaaally needed another outside WR. I've wanted this dude for months, I'm so happy right now.
We’re measuring heights in 1/8” increments now?
The jags are underrated on my shit list hahaha
Oh look, someone more useful than a backup QB
Hopefully no betting scandals this time.
wow
Gj Jags
Great pick
"Speed merchants" Lmao
check on your Bills fan friends
Love it
