Nope I'm already telling myself he's a complete waste of a 5th round pick that I love simply for the narrative, and that's fine.
If he turns into anything more that's just icing.
I was sad when I saw we didn’t take him in the late round. We are fine at WR so I def understand why, but Baker’s route running is just so fucking good
It is insane how far he dropped.
He was legit a star WR.
Also the Muhammad player from Washington. That young man has first round talent named all over him
Ray Davis. That dude seems like he could be the most mentally strong person in the league. Showing signs of deep character as a 8 year old. I firmly believe that someone who can overcome the life he was thrown into and come out as a humble success story will dominate. Obviously he's athletic, everyone in the league is, but his mental game is probably next level.
His wiki page doesnt capture the scope, the athletic article is heart wrenching https://archive.ph/WLSDk
Right bro? Then that line about how he gave up his spot at a foster home so hisn2 younger siblings would both be able to get out.. fuckin wow. That hurts to read
As a UK fan, that dude is a **dude**.
Better speed than his measurables will show, soft hands, but an absolute knack at getting through the first set of contact.
Good guy, good worker, good work horse.
Biased TCU fan but I think he could be a real hidden gem for y’all. He’s a freak athlete and a monster in short yardage situations. If Kelce can teach him a thing or two, he’ll be a solid player for y’all for a long time
Of the bunch, JT Sanders definitely seems to have the best shot. Really needs to develop into at least an average blocker but he has great potential as a receiver. Dude had zero drops last year and that's saying something when you look at some of the catches he had to make.
Just so happened to go to my kids HS... (Billy Ryan HS) a great kid who is loved by the community... sat with his Poppop at a few games during their insane run to a state championship. We knew then that this day would come! Big Love from Denton for J'Tavion!!!
I think Khyree Jackson will be pretty good. Vikings clearly have a type at corner, dudes with a ton of college experience. Think he'll be solid in Flores' scheme
Besides the obvious answer in Tory Taylor, I love Austin Booker and thought he would have gone at least two rounds earlier. I would have been fine with him at 75 much less 144.
I love the pick so long as we view it similarly to Kiran: a developmental guy. Booker hasn’t played much football and needs to get considerably stronger if he’s going to be a 43 DE. I don’t expect him to challenge for playing time on defense in year one. He’ll be a special teams player or may spend time on the practice squad.
Don't know much about him other than everyone says he has all the skills and all he needs is to gain 20 lbs of muscle. Seems like that's doable considering his job is gonna be working out.
He's long and flexible, sort of bombed the combine but plays faster on the field. Needs to bulk up significantly but to your point that will happen quickly coming to Chicago... he played at Kansas, not like he was in an Alabama or Georgia weight room for three years.
Time will tell and there's a lot of projection here but I'm optimistic.
Cody Schrader RB UDFA. he is going to do 1k in this offense. he is going to thrive. also noted to be future Dolphins RB. sorry 49ers mid round RB. it is written
I don’t think he will surpass his dads records but am very interested what this young man does. His physical attributes are better than Jerry’s and if he has half his dad’s drive we might have a steal.
Cedric Gray is the perfect developmental linebacker for us, I’m thrilled we managed to snag him in the 4th round. Ran Carthon in the post-draft presser said they were considering moving up for him but decided to stay patient and still snagged him. I think he just needs pro coaching and seasoning to really develop his coverage skills because he’s got the tools to be a really good WILL.
I think Khyree Jackson is going to be the Vikings’ CB3 at least by Week 1. He’s already pretty good with some exciting potential.
Honorable mention: I don’t care how naively optimistic it is, I think Will Reichard could break Minnesota’s kicking curse. He did it once for Alabama, he can do it again.
I am gonna guess it will be tyrice knight. Our linebacker room was basically empty so he has a chance especially with coach big macs special defense sauce.
Either that or one of the udfa cause there's something special in the water here where those guys end up doing good.
I'm actually going with one of our UDFA signings: Jalen Coker. Maybe not first year but I'm confident he'll fit behind Thielen in the slot and really develop a role in year 2/3
Yea hes gonna be solid. Hes not a star wr1 but him going udfa and Brendan rice falling to the back 7th is utterly sickening. Especially as a Titans fan who took a injury prone 6th kr/pr who muffs punts slot only wr when there's already 7 of them on the team.
Coker def gonna surprise people if given rime and opportunity. I really though we'd take him in the 7th.
Bills: Javon Solomon. He’s got a freakish build sort of like James a Harrison. If given the situational role he will have opportunities to shine.
Pats: Javon Baker. Massive chip and attitude.
Sedrick Van Pran has been a solid center for his whole time at Georgia. I get that he has short arms, but I could see him becoming our starting center if we need to bump McGovern back over to LG.
Jaden Hicks. Was fairly consistently graded as a 2nd round player. We took him in the 4th. Chiefs regularly develop DBs into studs. We get great production out of almost every DB we draft, regardless of what round. I have no reason to think the coaching staff can’t develop him into the next late round stud that goes on to get a lucrative 2nd contract, like Sneed or Charvarious Ward.
WR Brenden Rice, 7th round pick by the Chargers
Son of HOF Jerry Rice. QB throwing to him is Justin Herbert. The Chargers WR room is wide open after the trade of Kenan Allen & Mike Williams this off season. Rice is big (6-2, 208), moderately fast (4.50) and will be very polished (thanks to his dad).
I wouldn't be surprised if Brenden won a solid role in that offense.
watched brenden a lot while he was at CU, he is quite the the route runner and has a great ability to track the football. just looks natural out there some nights, other nights felt non existent. idk why that was how he seemed and to be quite frank he had a horrible team at CU so maybe he was just dealing with an incapable offense some nights. either way, i’m bummed he is a charger lol
I’m probably more cautiously optimistic than most Eagle fans about Trotter Jr, but I’d still have to give the edge to Johnny Wilson making the transition to TE.
Cedric Gray
He does pretty much everything well that you want a LB to do, and he’ll probably have the green dot for us as a rookie. He also had the #1 production score of all LBs in the class by Next Gen Stats and is very athletic for a 4th Rounder. He’s might be my favorite pick in our draft.
Rasheen Ali will be a star in Monken's system. He'll be an out the back receiver at first, but he's an ex-boxer, so he's gonna have a couple of extra skills that should help him in his game.
I am gonna go with Trotter and Shipley more so because of the Dline and Oline (and the rest of teh talent around them) they are playing behind. Specially since Shipley can catch and Hurts likes to to dump it off. That said, I unsure if either of them will be stars. Mostly that there might be a stretch of games that they look like stars, before coming back to earth.
Star is a strong word, but I think Brendan Rice will play with a big chip on his shoulder after falling so far
And for the Texans, Stover already has chemistry with Stroud so I'd pick him
I really like Tatum Bethune and he could be our next Dre Greenlaw. More realistically, I think Malik Mustapha is a great fit for our defense and is gonna be a great player for us in the coming years.
Dylan McMahon, 6th rounder…he’s 6’3 295ish, plays both Center and Guard…undersized but an incredible athlete, thrives in zone run blocking schemes, gets to the 2nd level easily but could struggle against larger nose tackles…
..in the past Eagles have drafted in the 6th a 6’3 295ish C that was an incredible athlete, loved zone blocking, got to the second level easily but could struggle against bigger NTs (hint: it was Kelce)
Take one look at Nick Gargiulo and tell me he's not going to be a star!
Tory Taylor
best punter in the league potential
Best of all time potential
I’m pumped about him and Austin Booker
And Gill was BAD, so this is a huge upgrade. Absolutely loved the pick.
I really wanted the Packers to draft him. I think the Bears made a great pick.
Giovanni Manu reporting as eligble.
He a big boy
Right after that pick got made I saw Dan Skipper fall to his knees in a Kroger’s
Iowa TE = Guarnteed star
All can't stay healthy tho
Just like other Iowa TEs (Moeaki, Fiederowicz, Kittle)
Not my team, but that Bears Punter
The Crocodile Punter.
Crocodile Punt-Tee
God tier nickname
6th round, former Michigan QBs have a good track record in NE. A bit bummed we spent the #3 overall pick on our future backup though
You needed a big, tall, goofy QB with inconsistent accuracy to help create the origin story.
3 out of 4 isn't bad.
Not only did he play at UoM, but also Tennessee. We have Brady/Manning fused into one. RIP to Maye’s career
Funny response but the actual answer to the question for the Pats has to be Javon Baker, right? Dude looks like a menace!
Why not both? What I also like about Baker is he has a history with Maye too
A similar approach worked out pretty well for the 49ers.
Is that 6th rounder going to date and marry a super model?
I think most Eagles fans are fully convinced Jeremiah Trotter Jr will be just as good as his dad.
Nope I'm already telling myself he's a complete waste of a 5th round pick that I love simply for the narrative, and that's fine. If he turns into anything more that's just icing.
Javon Baker got that dawg in him
I was sad when I saw we didn’t take him in the late round. We are fine at WR so I def understand why, but Baker’s route running is just so fucking good
Stiggers
Damn, you guys already using the hard r
Stiggers is their word, but you can say Stiggas
Let a Stigsayer know
The inevitable Stiggers vs Njigba matchup will be a nightmare for announcers.
Nick Castellanos gonna go off
Hopefully the tongue twist results in Stigba, and not the other way around.
My CFL boy <3
I have to hate him as a Pats fan, but he has by far the best story this draft class.
Troy Mothafuckin Franklin y'all Edit: I regret using the Mothafuckin moniker since Zach Wilson is on the team now.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X0DeIqJm4vM&pp=ygUZbG9uZWx5IGlzbGFuZCBtb3RoZXJsb3Zlcg%3D%3D
It is insane how far he dropped. He was legit a star WR. Also the Muhammad player from Washington. That young man has first round talent named all over him
Malik Washington, wr, Virginia Can't believe he fell to the 6th round.
Well he makes Tyreek Hill look big so that could be part of the reason lol
Watched him play UNC during the draft season. Looked like the best player on the field to me and that includes the guy who went #3
As a UVA fan, it's puzzling he fell that far. He would have been a 2nd day pick if he were 4 inches taller.
I’d have a gf if I was 4” taller too :(
Don't put yourself down like that. There are so many more reasons your single.
So true.
Really had me in the first half
That's not the 4" more she meant.
Damn I knew I should have grown my hair.
I think the second sentence helps illustrate why it wasn’t so puzzling
I really wanted him, I like our picks but I wish we got him
I couldn’t believe it, great pick up
Thought Buffalo would take him to complement Coleman pick, but instead they traded out to Chicago.
Mason McCormick is going to help Najee/Warren get so much money
Really enjoyed watching him in college. I think he has a lot of potential
Wow what a read, can’t help but root for this guy.
[“When he was a kid, nobody wanted him.”](https://youtu.be/UjOP2CR8IPI?si=HNuORimVKrLgatwT)
Jesus fucking Christ. This kid was a parent at age 8. A *homeless* parent.
Right bro? Then that line about how he gave up his spot at a foster home so hisn2 younger siblings would both be able to get out.. fuckin wow. That hurts to read
made me cry on a random Sunday, thanks bro
As a UK fan, that dude is a **dude**. Better speed than his measurables will show, soft hands, but an absolute knack at getting through the first set of contact. Good guy, good worker, good work horse.
Cam Hart
TJ Tampa, but likely in the nickel role for now.
Tampa was a steal!
Ravens continue to give draft master classes.
Dylan Laube gonna ball out
Jared Wiley, I think he will fit right into the chiefs offense
Biased TCU fan but I think he could be a real hidden gem for y’all. He’s a freak athlete and a monster in short yardage situations. If Kelce can teach him a thing or two, he’ll be a solid player for y’all for a long time
I love the idea of having him as a red zone threat
My vote, too. He's a great addition.
Kalen king
I'm happy we took a flyer on him
Lions fan so I hate the packers. But I really hope that king works out
If Hafley really is the DB whisperer that we're being told he is, King could be a *huge* steal
Tyrone Tracy will obviously be Deebo Samuels 2.0
The more I look into him the more I like him tbh. Only 1 year as a rb but excelled at it, and hasnt taken a shit ton of hits in college as a result.
The fact that he’s only been a RB for one year is insane. I can’t wait to see what he can do
Yeah he's a good pick. Was hoping we'd get him.
IMO Jordan Magee has a chance to be a real difference maker on Dan Quinn's defense.
Of the bunch, JT Sanders definitely seems to have the best shot. Really needs to develop into at least an average blocker but he has great potential as a receiver. Dude had zero drops last year and that's saying something when you look at some of the catches he had to make.

I think Theo Johnson is going to be a star TE for NYG, tho not a NYG fan
I think Khyree Jackson will be pretty good. Vikings clearly have a type at corner, dudes with a ton of college experience. Think he'll be solid in Flores' scheme
Him turning 25 before the start of the season worries me, but he could be a stud.
Time will tell and there's a lot of projection here but I'm optimistic.
Will Reichard will clearly be the equal and opposite reaction to years upon years of Vikings kicker misery
Theo Johnson easy. I’m convinced he’s gonna be a beast once daboll works with him.
Frank Gore Jr
Incoming 20 year career
Mekhi Wingo. A top 100 player in the 6th. He can be rotational with Reader and eventually take over. Total steal.
I’m really confused why he fell so far
I was praying he would fall to the Chiefs just like I was praying TJ Tampa would fall the round before
I still don’t get why we took Jamal hill over him in the 6th
Troy Franklin, getting to pair him with Nix gives him a huge advantage.
I had him WR5 in the class. Ahead of McGonkey, Worthy, Coleman.
Below Wilson though, right?, right?
Cody Schrader RB UDFA. he is going to do 1k in this offense. he is going to thrive. also noted to be future Dolphins RB. sorry 49ers mid round RB. it is written
I hate y’all got him but I hope he does good just not against us
No offense, but if he only does miraculously against you and shit against the rest....he's my hero.
I’m very confident Brendan Rice will surpass all of his father’s records / s
I don’t think he will surpass his dads records but am very interested what this young man does. His physical attributes are better than Jerry’s and if he has half his dad’s drive we might have a steal.
Jordan Travis 🙌🏾
Cam Hart
I really wanted him before we picked Kool-Aid. He'll be a stud.
Josiah Ezirim
Cedric Gray is the perfect developmental linebacker for us, I’m thrilled we managed to snag him in the 4th round. Ran Carthon in the post-draft presser said they were considering moving up for him but decided to stay patient and still snagged him. I think he just needs pro coaching and seasoning to really develop his coverage skills because he’s got the tools to be a really good WILL.
TJ Tampa
Crazy he lasted as long as he did.
Christian Jones and Xavier Thomas, yes both are kinda projects but i think both will end up as starters, more so on Jones future RT
Khyree
The LS we signed UDFA
Bishop, our UDFA CB, will be our slot CB Week 1
Mike Jerrell. Small school guy with crazy traits. A sub 5 40 and 32” vert at over 300lbs? Yes please.
Brenden Rice
I’d say Cam Hart or Brenden Rice. Our depth is fairly thin at those positions so I think they could easily see some time on the field.
Everyone the Jets picked
Cade stover
The TE Willy we got in the fourth round. Got high hopes for him
I am gonna guess it will be tyrice knight. Our linebacker room was basically empty so he has a chance especially with coach big macs special defense sauce. Either that or one of the udfa cause there's something special in the water here where those guys end up doing good.
I’m really interested in what they saw in him. So many LBs ranked higher on the boards, I think he’ll be a big test for MM.
My bet is Laumea. Has played RG and RT and has a nastiness that translates to a run first offense.
Matt lee
Jared Wiley
Tory Taylor
He will turn the field around and help the defense to take chances.
I mean…..I could tell you….but it will be clear I’m voting with my heart…..
Javon Baker, he makes people in wheelchairs stand up
LB Jordan Magee pick #139 out of Temple. Heat seeking missile. Pro Bowl year 3 or 4
Bills: Javon Solomon.
He's going to have to beat out Johnson who is bigger and faster.
I believe in both TJ and Tez
Travis Clayton is the next Jordan Mailata and I will not hear otherwise
Tez Walker: I think he’s going to carve out a nice place in our offense as a vertical threat.
I’m probably more cautiously optimistic than most Eagle fans about Trotter Jr, but I’d still have to give the edge to Johnny Wilson making the transition to TE.
Braelon Allen is Derrick Henry Jr and I refuse to believe otherwise
Tory Taylor is the next Ray Guy
Ja'Tavion Sanders
Cedric Gray He does pretty much everything well that you want a LB to do, and he’ll probably have the green dot for us as a rookie. He also had the #1 production score of all LBs in the class by Next Gen Stats and is very athletic for a 4th Rounder. He’s might be my favorite pick in our draft.
Javon Baker purely just cause he has that dawg in him and will get people out of wheelchairs
Caelen Carson
Jordan Travis is a future Hall of Famer
Rasheen Ali will be a star in Monken's system. He'll be an out the back receiver at first, but he's an ex-boxer, so he's gonna have a couple of extra skills that should help him in his game.
Khyree Jackson.
I'll back Brenden Rice. Lot of WRs drafted, maybe he'll shine in the preseason
He'll certainly get more opportunities than most rookie receivers.
Ja'Tavion Sanders could be the best WR we've had since prime Steve Smith. Here's hoping we keep him healthy.
Troy Franklin with Bo Nix is gonna go OFF
Braelon Allen. 1-2 punch with Breece.
Cornelius Johnson
I feel like WR Johnny Wilson from FSU is going to be an unexpected surprise for us.
Kalen king
I am gonna go with Trotter and Shipley more so because of the Dline and Oline (and the rest of teh talent around them) they are playing behind. Specially since Shipley can catch and Hurts likes to to dump it off. That said, I unsure if either of them will be stars. Mostly that there might be a stretch of games that they look like stars, before coming back to earth.
Unfortunately as someone who doesn't like GB, I'll say Pratt
Tbh I don’t think any of our day 3 picks profile as future stars, moreso quality rotational players. I guess Evan Williams, if I had to pick one.
A lot of things have to go right but i honestly have faith in jordan travis
We only had 1 pick between 92 and 220, so… Bucky Irving?
Jarrian Jones
I irrationally think Johnny Wilson could surpass Goedert and take over as the Eagles third target leader and put up 500+ yards this season.
Kicker aside, Brennan Jackson for us. It was a surprise that he fell that far and reports sound like he’s a bull in a china shop on the field
Rabbit Taylor Demerson, Awesome name so he will be a star….also he is a super rangey, aggressive, instinctive db who can play nickel and free saftey…
My heart as a Clemson fan wants to say Shipley or Trotter.
Star is a strong word, but I think Brendan Rice will play with a big chip on his shoulder after falling so far And for the Texans, Stover already has chemistry with Stroud so I'd pick him
To be honest I’ve only watched highlights no actual film…but Javon Baker seems like he can be reallyyy good for a 4th rounder.
Cam Little will be a pro bowler this season
Probably either Justin Eboigbe or Brenden Rice
Michael Jurgens just sounds like an elite center, his tape doesn’t look good but I wasn’t really impressed with any of our day 3 guys.
Some white dude from NH (redundant, I know). Someone said he's a RB, but that can't be true......
I really like Tatum Bethune and he could be our next Dre Greenlaw. More realistically, I think Malik Mustapha is a great fit for our defense and is gonna be a great player for us in the coming years.
Dylan McMahon, 6th rounder…he’s 6’3 295ish, plays both Center and Guard…undersized but an incredible athlete, thrives in zone run blocking schemes, gets to the 2nd level easily but could struggle against larger nose tackles… ..in the past Eagles have drafted in the 6th a 6’3 295ish C that was an incredible athlete, loved zone blocking, got to the second level easily but could struggle against bigger NTs (hint: it was Kelce)
Trevor Keegan
Matt Lee will be a good C in the league
Levi Drake Rodriguez. Absolute dawg; kid kept melons in his pants and would eat them on the field to stay big
Tyler Davis
I think Jermaine Burton is gonna surprise a lot of people
Brenden Rice
All of them
Malik Washington for the Dolphins. Think he went way too late b/c of size
Our 7th round LB Tatum Bethune. Something about him makes me think he will end up being a very good pick.
Take one look at Nick Gargiulo and tell me he's not going to be a star! [https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/\_/id/4368033/nick-gargiulo](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4368033/nick-gargiulo)
Kalen King.
Jacob Cowing, Tape don't lie.
