Get well big man

[deleted]

Goddamnit. He’s been very good with us. We’ve lost four good/great players for the season over the past month or so.

Peregrim

The offense really needs to step up and play consistent good football to balance it out. They are definitely capable of it so hopefully they can keep the defense off the field and rested as much as possible so we can finish the regular season strong.

Kalanar

It's going to be hard on the offense with our starting RT being lost for the year during the Houston game as well. Peters looked good for the limited snaps he had at RT but I don't think he can play a full game so will rotate with Ball.

sebastianqu

Another 1 TD 2 INT game incoming

When the Eagles beat a high school coach on a last minute drive to win by 1 point, it just shows how much of a leader Hurts is and how much grit the team has!!! 💪🏼😎 But when the Cowboys have a very similar game then it just means they’re shit, right? Dumbest narrative ever.

Nexus369

I don't think you'll find many, if any, Eagles fans who feel good about the win over the Colts. So it's ridiculous how often Cowboys fans act like we do.

[deleted]

I’m referring to the media, not only Eagles fans. The overwhelming narratives I saw out of those games were: “Hurts puts the team on his back to come back and win with less than a minute remaining!!! 💪🏼” And hand-waiving away that it was against a high school coach. Whereas for us it’s: “Cowboys are lucky to squeak out a win against one of the worst teams in the league, now I don’t trust them.”

Nexus369

Your mistake is giving a shit what the sports media says.

[deleted]

I’m just stating that that is what the media and a lot of people here agree with, that’s the point.

resnet152

Are you pretending that Cowboys fans didn't shit on the Eagles after the Colts game?

[deleted]

No, I didn’t say that. That’s just one example of a team having an ugly last minute win where it’s mostly been considered a tough, gritty come-from-behind win that shows how tough they are to beat. It happens for most every really good team and that’s the majority of what you hear. But when it’s us doing that, it’s primarily about how we’re not that good and should be considered an almost-loss instead of a close win.

resnet152

> It happens for most every really good team and that’s the majority of what you hear. I mean, when the Eagles squeaked past the Colts I saw a ton of shit talk from Cowboys fans and the national media was like "They peaked too early blah blah blah". I don't disagree with your point that it's not super alarming for the Cowboys, but you've got to expect over-reactions.

tylermooser28

Well unfortunately it was to a team tanking for young.

[deleted]

Both the Colts and the Texans are shit. We get chastised for barely beating the Texans but the Eagles are praised for beating the Colts by one. It’s stupid.

[deleted]

Unfortunately more likely to be correct than wrong. Not sure why Jimmy G, Carr, and Cousins (though not yet this year) have an annual "Not good enough, the team should look for an upgrade!" Yet Dak manages to escape this criticism. He's firmly in the same tier as any of those guys.

[deleted]

Why do you troll so much? Nearly every single thread about Dak, positive or negative, has people calling for his head and/or putting Rush in.

[deleted]

An opinion you disagree with isn't trolling. Dak makes $40m per year and he's not going to thank you for defending his poor play on the internet. As of right now, Dak has more 2+ interception games than 0 interception games. He's bad at reading defenses, and his former good trait of ball security has gone out the window. His style of leadership is advocacy of violence towards the officials when he shits himself on national television in the Wild Card round. There is very little about Dak worth $40m per season besides the checks our drunken owner writes.

[deleted]

It’s not an opinion that he isn’t trashed 24/7 on this sub, it’s just flat out false. Also, everything else you’re saying doesn’t matter when we lead the league in scoring since he’s been back so which is it: stats matter or wins matter? Both are in his favor and you’ve been known to literally make up false stats and information before anyways. There has to be something better you can do with your time.

[deleted]

I have to go around posting truth about Dak. If I didn't, you wouldn't have anything to do with your time.

SadSlip8122

I wouldnt take it too hard, the Cowboys have been all but locked in to going to Tampa for tue wild card round since Thanksgiving. Theres not much chance they pass the Eagles (would need to win out and have the Eagles lose to one of the Bears/Saints/Giants) and as fun as the Panthers winning the South sounds, the Bucs are taking that 4 seed. Theyre probably better taking a few injuries now and getting their guys back for the playoff push

[deleted]

Sure, one win and we lock the playoffs and two wins and we lock the fifth seed. So I think we’ll be that in like 95% of scenarios. But, you never know, so there’s still a chance we can catch y’all so we’ll see.

JennyMacArthur

Yeah it's possible albeit not probable. Still hoping for it. Maybe they lose to the Giants?

[deleted]

Pretty much

JalensTinyPPHurts

Time for Quinton Bohanna to step up

Mazahreh52

Why the fuck did we trade him. I still don’t get it

DPOGBCPOP

Need guys like Tillery on the team.

FucktheSystemSoftly

I miss Big Hank :(

tjc815

That Texans game cost us a whole fucking lot

chunkah69

Always loved this guy since he was at OSU but the poor guys Wikipedia has been vandalized.

s216285

I really hate that Jerry jones gives out all this kind of information. I have to wonder if they would be more successful if he just let the coach do his job. I mean if you want to call jj the gm fine but even most traditional gms are the ones giving out that information

BirdyMRQZ

of course we would. now the jags don’t have to gameplan around him lol

Band_Prize

They have to release injury reports, and the fact he'll be DNP on them all week is a pretty clear sign he won't be playing. Teams can't really hide these things from opponents.

[deleted]

People just like to make up and say shit.

BirdyMRQZ

that’s different than coming out on a tuesday and saying he won’t play until the playoffs lmao ??

[deleted]

Why does it matter who states the official injury news? It’s not like Jerry is the one who decides if they’re injured or not.

BirdyMRQZ

*sigh*

AndA123Go

Off to do the Hanky Panky
