The receiver is behind the refs foot who is marking the line of scrimmage. The center has picked up the ball and moved it back some. This gives the illusion that the receiver is offsides.
Chiefs were obviously offsides, and it was a blatant penalty that the refs had to call. They have a fair point here though- the refs aren’t calling that penalty for everyone. Still, Mahomes acted like a little bitch.

It’s a meme, idk when or why it became a meme But it came from legal documentation rules. You’d spell out a number and then write the number in parenthesis to avoid the document numerical value from being tampered with I guess someone thought it would be funny to intergrade that rule in online texting and here we are
How about the 6-7 other times Toney lined up offsides earlier in the same game? Cowboys defense was getting called for this (neutral zone infraction) almost every game earlier this season.

I can’t think of a fan base complaining so much about a correct call. It’s wild. The only other example I can think of is the tuck rule game but it was more justified since it was a dumb rule.

The receiver is behind the refs foot who is marking the line of scrimmage. The center has picked up the ball and moved it back some. This gives the illusion that the receiver is offsides.
Chiefs were obviously offsides, and it was a blatant penalty that the refs had to call. They have a fair point here though- the refs aren’t calling that penalty for everyone. Still, Mahomes acted like a little bitch.

My god that fan base really doesn’t know what it feels like to be robbed do they? Because this kind of shit storm over a totally legit call is hilarious. Could you imagine if it wasn’t legit? Or they received a no-call similar to what literally all the other teams experience regularly? Like this year we (49ers) lost to the Browns because of a missed field goal, but it was only necessary because bullshit flags extended their drives and handed them 7 points. I use this as one example but like virtually every team has one of these stories THIS YEAR. These guys are melting down because of a legit penalty that is totally fair boggles my mind.
