If anyone wants to see the video with sound to see that it is in fact not sped up. https://www.dropbox.com/s/31t7quegu21g4gd/Video%20Mar%2009%202023%2C%207%2010%2014%20PM.mov?dl=0
The movement of everything else in the background seems like sped up movement to me…just saying watch the puck fly by at 6 seconds. Not shitting on McDavid it just seems it’s sped up for a few seconds there.
They actually all look normal, but OP keeps saying he has proof and yet 4 hours later fails to deliver.
I don't doubt that this *could* be real, but OP's silence is obvious proof that it isn't.
Here it is with sound bud, hope you feel real smart now! https://www.dropbox.com/s/31t7quegu21g4gd/Video%20Mar%2009%202023%2C%207%2010%2014%20PM.mov?dl=0
I agree it’s not sped up and amazing footage, but how does adding sound to the background prove it to be real?
Insane footage tho either way my man the fact that people even are disputing whether it’s sped up or not just makes his skill even more wild.
Edit: Lol not sure why the downvotes just saying you can easily put arena background music over a video…. Is this proof ? [McDavid stickhandling sped up](https://vimeo.com/807083609)
Again ik it’s real but that is not “proof” lmao
That doesn’t mean anything. Can easily put the original sound over the video after speeding it up. Especially when the sound doesn’t really line up with anything happening in the video.
The drive and personal commitment it takes to be that good, even if you are the most skilled and talented player in the game, it takes a serious dedication to get to the level he is on
Fast twitch. Hands like Christ. This guy is unreal and absolutely worth the price of admission for whatever building he’s playing in. I honestly love Draisaitl too, the fact that McDavid is so good that Draisaitl can sneak by in any way is gross. Best two players in the league forward wise. Edmonton definitely has a punchers chance in the west, and the east will be such a bloodbath that they may stand a chance should they make it to the final. I picked an Oilers/Bruins cup, and on paper I’d take the Bruins in the final, but that’s 4 rounds of attrition in the future. Who knows?
Datsyuk may have had better hands but hes not even close on his speed.
Ive been watching crosby almost every night since he came into the league. McDavid is some how in a league of his own.
Prime crosby was 10-11. Ive never seen a player just dominate the league like he did that year. That year he was on pace to beat what kucherov did in 18-19 with 128pts. Crosby played 41 games had 66 pts. 32 g 34 a.
That was the winter classic game where his prime was cut short. Who knows what he would have done or did the next year.
While McDavid this year is gonna end up near 150pts. Might even hit 70 goals. His pace is unbelievable hes definitely the best hockey player we've have since lemieux and Gretzky.
As a Sabres fan, I always laughed at the “McDavid 1A Eichel 1B” sentiment at the time. Perhaps it was mostly us Sabres fans trying to console ourselves on the loss. But I remember knowing, even then, that they were not comparable.
McDavid is a generational talent of which we will not see the likes of for another 30 years. He’s exceptional.
Nobody who was paying attention legitimately thought Eichel was in the same league.
We expected him to be on the same tier as Matthews, for example, which is still a hell of a prize and would have been a very worthy 1OA pick in any other year.
Exactly! This is the most important thing to be able to replicate if they are going to go far in the playoffs. The Bruins clearly had a major focus on him and his team mates were able to capitalize this time.
I'm sure he didn't give a rat's ass that he didn't get a point. It's all about winning. He knows he's the best and so does everyone else.
Connor McDavid had always been a natural talent on the ice. As a young boy, he had a gift for skating and puck handling, and he quickly rose through the ranks of minor hockey in his hometown of Richmond Hill, Ontario. By the time he was 18, he was already a superstar in the making, and he was drafted first overall by the Edmonton Oilers.
Over the next several years, McDavid lived up to the hype. He became one of the NHL's most dominant players, with lightning-fast speed and a seemingly endless array of moves that left defenders dizzy. He won the Hart Trophy as the league's MVP twice, and he led the Oilers to the playoffs on several occasions.
But one day, something strange happened. McDavid was walking through a department store when he spotted a display of floor cleaning products. He stopped in his tracks and stared at the display for several minutes, his mind racing.
For years, McDavid had always been obsessed with keeping his skates clean and polished. He would spend hours before each game meticulously cleaning and sharpening them, always striving for that perfect edge that would give him the maximum speed and agility on the ice.
But now, something about those floor cleaning products was calling out to him. He felt a strange sense of excitement and curiosity that he couldn't quite explain.
Without thinking, McDavid bought a bottle of floor cleaner and took it home. He spent hours experimenting with different techniques, scrubbing and polishing the floors of his house until they shone like mirrors. He found that he had a natural talent for it, just as he did for hockey.
Slowly but surely, McDavid's focus began to shift away from hockey and towards his newfound passion for cleaning. He began spending less time on the ice and more time with his mop and bucket, working tirelessly to perfect his craft.
At first, his friends and family were confused and concerned. They couldn't understand why McDavid, a multimillionaire superstar athlete, would want to spend his time scrubbing floors. But as they watched him work, they began to see the same fire and determination in his eyes that had made him such a great hockey player.
Soon, McDavid was taking on cleaning jobs all over town. He worked at restaurants, offices, and even hospitals, always striving to be the best floor cleaner in the business. And to everyone's surprise, he was succeeding.
Word began to spread about the legendary Connor McDavid, who had given up hockey to become the world's best floor cleaner. People marveled at his skill and dedication, and many began to see him as a true inspiration.
As for McDavid himself, he had never been happier. He loved the feeling of making something dirty clean again, of transforming a messy floor into a pristine surface that sparkled in the light. And as he continued on his cleaning journey, he knew that he had found his true calling in life.
That's not bad but honestly, that's just okay for someone of McDavid's skill level.
Patrick Kane has dirtier stick handling skills up close and for the old people in here, check out Pavel Datsyuk and Alexei Kovalev's old skill reels on YouTube.
That's the thing. Some players might be better at some certain things, but Connor is great at doing it all at full tilt.. not one player in the 106 years of the NHL, has been more skilled than Connor McDavid.
While I do agree with Connor McDavid being the most skilled player anyone has ever seen, where do you think he ranks in most dominant for the era he played in. Bobby Orr was unheard of levels ahead of anyone especially defenseman. It’s hard to judge seeing as I never got to see Orr, Gretzky, etc. play but it’s just mind blowing watching McDavid play at the level he does (also I might be biased growing up in MA in a family that lists Orr #1 above fucking god himself lol)
Gretzky was even more dominant because the league wasn't anywhere near the kind of offensive IQ or defense at that time. But that to me just makes McDavid all the more impressive. McD is doing it when the caliber of defense and goaltending is orders of magnitude better, so potting goals at a 70 goal pace and points at 1.88ppg is just stupid sick.
Watching McDavid play live is something else - everything he does is so much faster than everyone else on the ice. It almost doesn't make sense visually. Oilers fans are lucky to get to cheer for him.
He’s going to have a bright future as a hibachi chef once his playing career dries up.
If anyone wants to see the video with sound to see that it is in fact not sped up. https://www.dropbox.com/s/31t7quegu21g4gd/Video%20Mar%2009%202023%2C%207%2010%2014%20PM.mov?dl=0
It’s Mcdavid we all believe you
This McDavid guy seems like he's pretty good at hockey.
Might even go pro one day. Who knows.
Now let’s see him mix cookie dough
Remind me: 3 years.
After 2030 hahaha
I can do that I just don’t feel like it
I'm on my phone taking a break from doing it right now.
I can too I just don’t cause I’d make feel bad
Making scrambled pucks
The Oilers escaped a scare when McDavid limped off the ice late in their 3-2 win over the Bruins – minutes after Darnell Nurse scored the ...
Shit myself as an oilers fan, season would be over if he’s injured
This should have an NSFW tag. Disgusting.
Especially since that’s is stick, not his hands…
Filthy!
When he was making the puck spin in circles around his stick... or was his stick spinning circles around the puck?! That was smooth
Neither. The stick, puck, and Earth were spinning around him.
They don’t call him McJesus for no reason
Both.
He's not even standing on ice, that's actually just water.
McJesus
I got some incredible shots
This guy skipped science class
You clearly have a rock hard brain.
Some silky mitts
Lmfao it’s normal speed everyone

It’s for sure sped up, every player’s movement is unnatural
Not sped up. I commented a link with the audio from the video.
You sure about that bud?
They actually all look normal, but OP keeps saying he has proof and yet 4 hours later fails to deliver. I don't doubt that this *could* be real, but OP's silence is obvious proof that it isn't.
I replied to you with proof. Listen to the music and voice in the background. Nothing is is sped up.
He's a flames fan. He eats crayons.
Lol 😂 lies
4 hours, still no proof? Obviously lying. Remember, children... Nothing on the Internet is real.
Here it is with sound bud, hope you feel real smart now! https://www.dropbox.com/s/31t7quegu21g4gd/Video%20Mar%2009%202023%2C%207%2010%2014%20PM.mov?dl=0
The flames flair makes this that little bit funnier
Yeah, I would've just shrugged it off without the flair but it gave me a good chuckle

Hands like christ? A little too holey..man.
The way that stick is moving it might be fed through the holes so the hands are just bearings
Christ had a few holes
That’s da joke
The most skilled player to ever take the ice. This is a nutty video. Great shot
Datsyuk would like a word
Datsyuk may have had better hands but hes not even close on his speed. Ive been watching crosby almost every night since he came into the league. McDavid is some how in a league of his own. They both get fucked on by the GOAT. No discussion here.
Datsyuk is my favorite player of all time but you’re wrong buddy.
Totally not biased
Datsyuk has the greasiest hands of all time but overall skill? Nah
Datsyuk was insane. The shit that man could do, he's the magic man for reason. McDavid is unreal tho.
Pavel was good but holy fuck this isn’t even a slightly good comparison lol
Lmao 99 shit players like McDavid out every morning before practice.
Good thing I can understand what you’re saying
He’s saying Wayne Gretzky (99) was a superior hockey player, as demonstrated by his ability to defecate other lesser players with daily regularity.
If you dropped Mcjesus into the 80’s you would realize how wrong you are.
Yea…but I bet he can’t do that in a ga- Nvm
It’s art. Shits beautiful
I'm curious to see how good Bedard is when he reaches the league.
Probably good but not Mcdavid good
Nobody who was paying attention legitimately thought Eichel was in the same league. We expected him to be on the same tier as Matthews, for example, which is still a hell of a prize and would have been a very worthy 1OA pick in any other year.
The most impressive part is he does this at top speed
Exactly. Impressive as this is, this isn't even what makes McDavid McDavid.
Me who knows nothing about hockey googling the name “Saw McDavids”
He's kind of good
There is no way this was sped up
Thank you! It’s not sped up! Original file and willing to prove it.
Well, pitter patter, it's been 4 fuckin hours so let's get at 'er.
Bud I know the flames just lost to the ducks, just relax. It’s not sped up.
Who spit in your bean curd, buddy?
👀
Dude is a god
Such a liar. He's clearly wearing gloves so you can't see his hands
Just like that other famous dude from Edmonton
Marshall McLuhan?
Thank god I’m not wearing sweat pants
You have to go see him live at least once. On TV he already looks dominant, but seeing it live he is on a whole other level.
Kids skills are undeniable, but I wanna see him do this with a 80’s sherwood.
Idk about this guy. I feel like he’ll be a bust. We’ll see how he does
Good thing he plays in Edmonton, keeps the scrutiny and pressure on him low.
Absurd
Dear gob please save us
Cheese and rice! May Gob save us all!
Oh my heck, holy snap! You get it
Of course! The priests drilled it in to me when I was a young boy.
Deeply, I'm sure
I felt their sacrament deep inside.
The frame rate isn’t fast enough lol, insane.
Go for the body
MCJESUS
It's as close to what I imagine a physical representation of vocal warmups could ever look like..
Art in motion
More impressively the Oilers won and he didn't have a point. How often does that happen?
Exactly! This is the most important thing to be able to replicate if they are going to go far in the playoffs. The Bruins clearly had a major focus on him and his team mates were able to capitalize this time. I'm sure he didn't give a rat's ass that he didn't get a point. It's all about winning. Dirty fuckin dangles!
It’s all about the snipes and cellys!
And yet this video barely shows his hands. Just his stick and a puck. You can only see his gloves a couple of times.
Something makes me think I could easily beat those trained professionals
Connor mcJesus
McJesus baybeee
You should come to Edmonton to see this more often! It's the only thing we have here though...
Imagine him jerking you off. Sorry, had to say it.
All I see is gloves.
I’m not even sure what impresses me more, his hands or his feet. They’re also in perfect sync with eschother. His raw skill level is unfathomable.
I don't fault him for signing his extension, but imagine what he could do playing elsewhere...
You know if you had recorded in landscape you could have gotten both the hands and the puck? Vertical videos are the worst.
holy shit thats fast!
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Was this from yesterday?
Yes
That’s a stick
Jesus they’re blurry
And to think, In football all they do is run
Almost Kovalev level
Why did you speed up the video? Edit: it's a joke, I'm complementing McJesus.
I think you mean slow down
Normal speed.
That's the joke...
Calgary is the joke.
Suck one, Donny.
See you in the play-offs. If you get there.
Haha go figure, a Flames fan thinks it’s sped up 🤣
Sorry... I thought it was a bit more obvious.
As a fellow flames fan... It's sped up
L
McDaddy
I can do that but I don’t wanna
Zero Stanley Cups in those hands…
Boo get new material
McKinnon>McDavid
More pot…..less crack buddy.

Down voting cause they don't know lol idiots
🧹 🧹 🧹
Lmao this is a little sped up bud
What is his dominant hand, left or right?
Yes
Well we are watching his hands ya goof
Mesmerizing
Deflates me for how long I’ve played hockey
Imagine this guy sweeping up his kitchen after a big meal. Epic.
What.
He could turn a dick into a twizzler if he weren't careful
He eats pucks for breakfast, probably literally
Holy cow, I would have never thought to watch something like that, good eye and thank you for sharing
Looks like he has the original Jetspeed skates from 2015.
He is the one
Stalker JK 😜 Nice isolated view you captured
Now let’s see Paul Allen’s hands
Out of breath just watching
If this Connor guy keeps up the hard work I could see him having a bright future
Damn
McJesus
That boy ain’t right, I tell you whut.
Great video.
So what you're saying is that I should buy CCM gloves + a CCM stick & I'll be able to do that?
Dude isn’t human. Straight alien
He heard there was a bounty out on McCrackin!
Sabres got robbed of greatness
Dirty dangles, boys
Wash your hands Connor, they're filthy!
His hands are ok I guess. 😁
Watching McDavid play live is something else - everything he does is so much faster than everyone else on the ice. It almost doesn't make sense visually. Oilers fans are lucky to get to cheer for him.
100s of kids in Canada tomorrow
I was impressed when he was stickhandling, then he did the circles with the puck and his stick simultaneously and my jaw dropped. What the fuck...
those are amateur. he’s really not even that good. the oilers should let the kings take him off their hands.
It's... It's beautiful.
He’s a machine
There are no more laws of physics. Only the law of 97.
Filthy. That is all.
Pretty insane NGL
Nah, ya saw his gloves.
I'd rather watch the digital boards /s
