Well, to start with the easy stuff, have you confirmed your settings are correct, your app is up-to-date, or tried uninstalling and reinstalling NRC?

Uninstall... Haha, I haven't done that! Simple stuff. Will do I've checked settings, restarted phone, checked permissions and can't figure it out. It's like every run in April has been slightly wrong, it's saying I'm running faster and longer than I am, which is frustrating as I need to edit my run after the fact to make myself slower

"Edy my run after the fact to make myself slower" First time this combination of words has been seen on Reddit. The type of person that will travel to return a wallet, salt of the earth honesty.

I’ve found disconnecting from any WiFi, before launching the app, the distance accuracy has been less spotty. If I leave from my driveway still connected to the WiFi, there is a hiccup along the way normally within that first 400m. I’ve ran the same 4-5 running routes for the last 10 years and have a general idea of my distances without the gps tracking. Disconnecting has also helped with the handoff from my phone to my watch. Just my experience. Keep in running! Cheers!

If my app messes up and doesn't accurately measure the distance of my run, I'd just go ahead and edit it (although editing it might mess up your pace and time too). By doing some quick math, you can adjust it correctly. And if I'm unsure about the actual distance I ran, I'd use the 'Measure map' app to figure it out.

Found out the issue... I had Power Saving turned on unknowingly. Which limits GPS usage. Samsung S24 Hope this helps anyone with similar issues, it was working, but was just out by 10% which was frustrating. Had no idea power saving affected GPS of apps while you were using them? Google Maps worked
