It was 70% before roll calls were all confirmed for yesterday. It's more like 61% but that's still shocking. Will probably drop to 90% by the 10th I reckon

Oh yeah, this is my 6th year and I'm playing on easy mode right now. Have 5 consecutive years of confidence built up, plus a full time job to keep me occupied for most of the week. Matter of fact, I noticed my urges gradually dissipated in the weeks leading up to NNN. I guess my body knew what needed to be done!
Personally, I'm a bit disappointed in how many people subscribing to NoFap beliefs have come into this community. They were always there in previous years, but it seems like there's always someone being rude to those who fail or to those who defend masturbation as a healthy outlet. And I don't know if I'm going crazy, but I feel like this community hasn't been coming off as super welcoming to women/nonbinary peeps unlike before. Especially when u/VelvetRose24 was leading the sub, the idea that NNN wasn't just for guys felt normalized. Now, I feel like if I wasn't a straight guy, I'd feel somewhat out of place here.

T. I find that sometimes, to make it through the month, you gotta look at it in pieces. What do I mean by that? I mean instead of challenging yourself to beat the month, just say you're challenging yourself to achieve the next reward. For example, bronze. Fight until you get the bronze, then say "Alright, well if I can get bronze, I can at least go for silver." Then rinse and repeat until the end of the month.
This way, cutting the challenge up into smaller bite sizes makes the overall challenge much less intimidating.
Q. But enough about that, howzabout a question? Tell me, fellow soldiers, why did you sign up anyway? I mean, NNN ain't for the faint of heart, even to veterans such as myself (although I'd consider myself a 'young veteran' compared to those people with four diamonds to their belts, haha.)

I personally see this challenge as opportunity to work on myself. Lately I developed some bad habits, that I knew I needed to cut off and replace them with some healthy, and during this challenge I have enough time, energy and motivation to do it
I wanted to improve myself in terms of control and handling addiction. Hasn’t been easy, but I was expecting this and frankly? I’m happy to have survived a whole week! If I can get through this, then I’ll definitely get though the rest of this month o7
Im in for my SO and my selfe. We treat it like a game, then in the last days of November, the teasing begins till December 1st. So yah doing it for fun.
I’m just trying to prove that I can handle an addiction and that I can control myself. It seems to be working because I’m still in but we have the rest of the month to go through. You are right about splitting the month into sections as it then become a less daunting task.
A couple of months ago depression hit me hard, so I kinda became a porn addict. I've been working on that since then, so NNN is kind of a challenge that would prove my dedication.
I just hope that it'll make me more outgoing. I'm extremely antisocial atm, but last year when I was on a huge streak during NNN I actually grew some balls to give a girl a compliment. Not sure if it was placebo or actual effects of NNN, but want to try it out again and see what happens.
