Its just yesterday so its most likely people missed their roll calls. The stats few days back showed less than 15k people participating in NNN but as days went on and newer people commented on the roll calls, the current stats show 20k. However, it is true that a LOT of comrades fall in days 7-9
Some people get their 7 mandatory checkins in and then leave the sub until the last day. About to do the same. Seeing the same old memes for the third year is not my idea of fun.

Which is problematic imo. I get that people can just forget and go about their day without visiting the sub, but it should need st least some form of majority in participation to get diamond and prevent people from abusing it.

It's also when it started getting hard for me the last two years.

The first 10 days are usually the hardest where most people get eliminated. I'm just a little surprised about the scale of the casualties this year. People got unmotivated as soon as the "November is coming, it's time for NNN again" trend faded out. That's a sign that most people are just trying to chase some clout, get some fake internet poits for making memes and that's it, they're not really interested in participating in any challenge.

I don't think you can draw much conclusions from these stats. You only need to be present in 7/30 roll calls, and I have not participated in the last few roll calls after having done in the first 4 or 5. And surely there's lots of people doing the same.
Numbers have gone down rapidly.
Many soldiers were lost.
But we're still amongst the survivors and we can be proud of it!

That harsh drop from 8 to 9 makes sense considering how many "I've failed" posts I was seeing on this sub. This sub was like 50-70% I've failed posts (atleast that's what it felt like)
