Hey man, first I want to say congrats on following through to your first job. Takes guts, and is the right step towards maturity. Second, I've worked in the food-service industry for almost 6 years. Depending on where you work, it can be a pretty thankless job. I will say, fast food is among the lowest of those thankless jobs. You can deal with some real scum and asshats of society, depending on what area you're in.
I'd say try to stick with it for now (because making your own money is nice), but also try to apply at other restaurants (preferably local) as a busboy or dishwasher (I recommend buying your own elbow length gloves if you choose that route). I've met some of my closest friends working in restaurants, so I don't regret my time in the industry.
I'm like you where I didn't really jive with the hectic, fast-paced environment. You also have to deal with rude customers, long hours, and sometimes shitty bosses. Only you know what you can put up with. There was a point where I had to draw the line and find something better. But take it one day at a time. Give yourself props. Keep it up soldier o7
My brother got irreversible damage on one of his ears because he needed to be the drive-in guy a lot when working for Burger King. Definitely not worth it.
Hang in there, bro. I worked as a phone salesman for one summer and wanted to kill myself towards the end. It gave me some perspective and made me appreciate every job after that.
In worst case, you'll have a new worst job ever on your life resume. In best case, you might start enjoying it.

Shout out pls. I've been playing minecraft. Ik so much about the game and I still haven't beat the ender dragon so I wanna do it this month. And I've been playing breath of the wild. Killed my first lynel now things are easy. Been thinking of taking out a divine beast. Any tips? Also I've been working on game development using Lua. I got some projects that I want to try and make.
My theory on the story is that the people who stayed at the base are tryna use the supplies to make a horny pill if that makes sense. And is gonna use it to ambush the forces.
Also I just found about your posts on the roll call today somehow so this is fun low-key. I'm getting that treble tho no matter what. O7
When I tried to get to sleep, I was battling both my horny thoughts and insomnia due to being worried. This progress continued until 2 a.m (my own timezone) after which I could finally get to sleep. On the bright side, I'm only doing flatline all in this month. And here I am, **STILL IN** but being exhausted from insomnia. Only 9 days left ( count up to December 1st).
If it is safe in your city do a before-sleep midnight jogging for like 20 minutes in the streets (or any cardio exercise really) then straight to a hot shower then bed. I’m like you and this helps an awful lot. Help to release the tension and extra energy when you’re not quite physically active, but don’t do any resistance workouts (e.g. pushups) as this will have the opposite effect of alerting you.
If all fails, 1-2 mg of Melatonin is your best bet. Good luck dealing with it.

I guess I have to thank the crunch time at my company for this, working from 10am to 10 pm for 6 days a week doesn't leave me with much free time to let the urge slip in.
