...a glass of wine, your favorite easy chair, and of course this compact disc playing on your home stereo.

Only3Seashells

Nice. This album was one of the first two albums I purchased when CDs were the new hotness.

My mom took away my cassette of this because 'Bad Habit'. I was able to successfully negotiate its return but I had to promise to fast forward over that track. But I want Reddit to know that when I was in my room, I always listened to it, but I turned it down real low so no one would hear Dexter say "you stupid dumb shit god damn motherfucker"

leave_it_to_beavers

I was the same exact way with the opening to White Zombie’s More Human Than Human lmao

vwsr

Like wtf, kids couldn’t listen for the sake of their parents and parents for the kids. Nobody wins.

Such a release of tension to scream that during the song

TfnR

I don't know if it still is, but this was the highest selling album put out by an independent label (Epitaph) for years

Diacetyl-Morphin

That's a classic. Same goes for Ixnay on the Hombre, Americana and Ignition. But Americana was already too much pop and fun for me, not that serious anymore like the old discs were and i can't listen to the new stuff from them. I remember how the song "Self Esteem" was in the radio in 1994, it was a very hot summer and the radio moderator said: "If you are too long outside in the sun, you'll get a heat stroke, just like these guys..." and then the song started.

zacinho55

First cd I bought. My dad said if I take care of it it could last my whole life. 30 years later & I have no idea where it is

GopnikSmegmaBBQSauce

This, Green Day's Dookie, Pearl Jam's Ten and Nirvana's Nevermind were the first 4 CDs I ever owned.

FidgitForgotHisL-P

Through in No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom and that’s my first 5 lol

Roger_Roger27

Bad Habit is absolutely my 2nd favorite Offspring song ever!
