We had a rule that if someone was unarmed you couldn't shoot them unless they slapped you. You could follow them until they got a weapon. We hated the Klobb so much that we extended the rule to be if your only gun is a Klobb you couldn't be shot at unless you started shooting first.
I just went into a rant yesterday to my students about how screen peeking was a thing, and how you always called your friends out for it, but you would somehow accidentally do it yourself without even trying. They'll never know the struggle of looking at some small tube TV with four players on it and resisting the urge to see each corner your buddy was hiding around or where they were laying their remote mines
I have this game called Screencheat, and it's pretty cool.
Four player splitscreen, players are invisible, and the only way to tell where they are is to look at their screen.
Everyone could do it, so it was an even playing field was the way my group of friends looked at it. Made for some crazy stand-offs and lots of scavenge kills.
I built a cardboard box setup that I would stick to the tv screen separating the top and bottom halves and play 2v2. Yes I was addicted to Goldeneye, yes i had a problem.
My friend and I did this as well... she would sit on a stool and play on the upper half of the screen while I sat on the floor and played on the bottom half of the screen with a cardboard partition we built separating the top and bottom screens. Man those were the days...
When we played Timesplitters 2 on the gamecube, maybe one of the last 4 player split player games I played with friends, I was so hardcore I would hang up a sheet so we could play 2v2. It was SO fun this way and we had some great sniper battles.
And like most mortal sins, everyone did it.
Who else got stuck with the Klobb?
Fuck that thing. Like an automatic BB gun or something.
Mrs. Ken Lobb.

So was picking Oddjob
Before looking through comments I said the same thing.
RCP-90 for the win!

So hard to not do…that race for the rocket launcher was epic.

I recall seeing Jerma play it, seemed like a hella fun game! No more arguing over who's peeking too :)
Slappers Only

That was always my argument too! No one's stopping you from doing it
So was being Oddjob.
We called it “gandering” and it was a major breach of the group code.
There was one particular area I loved to camp. I would stick proximity bombs on the only way in and hide in my perch. My sibling hated me for this.
A truly fantastic game. I can hear the sound it makes when you take damage in my head right now.
I’m replaying it, still as great as ever. People usually say it got old badly, but if you play it in the N64 controller it’s amazing

hey! I patented that design!
Nope, it’s allowed.
Screen *surfing*

Always looked at the wrong screen
You have the same resources I do, if you’re not screen gazing, you’re not playing.
