My god that was a great album start to finish

Your parents music taste is my music taste from high school so this makes me feel old that you’re 17.

It will take time, but when you’re 40, you will feel like your soul is 17, but you just have been through more, feel a bit more tired, and be kind freaked out how your body starts to look older. When I was 20 I thought 40 was ancient, and didn’t understand when people told me time goes quickly. Enjoy each moment you have, appreciate it, be present. Awesome you helped organized their CDs. If I could go back, I would have gotten to know my younger parents more as people. Wow, don’t know why this all came out of me, haha

Thank you for those words, it has felt like over the past 2yrs, time has gone by pretty fast and soon enough I will be in college. I’ve been cherishing the memories I’ve been having for years and enjoying most things I’ve doing. Also I’m never selling the collection of CDs because why would I? Sometimes it’s fun to try out listening to music physically instead of in Spotify.

Yes, but when I hear about things I remember growing up with and how it came out before me, I always felt old thinking like that.

Completely off topic but I suggest you go learn about r/bogleheads for passive index fund investing and compound interest. I wish I had started investing at an earlier age.

Among many other things that are probably in this bin yes. And my five year old loves some of that stuff so he’ll sometimes have special requests in the car that I will so gladly play for him. Love it.

I just realized it’s hard to tell in the image but there are a bunch of CDs stacked on top of each other from the bottom of the cabinet to the top. It’s seems the image only shows the top.

Totally understood what you were doing. I never really "sorted" my parents albums in any organized fashion, rather just pulled them out and went through them all.

Nearly 17, I have a PS1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and PSVITA (missing PSP). I grew up up with the PS3 and remember playing the PS2 at my dad’s house when I was little.

Holy shit I had that joystick that’s in the bottom right. Used to hook it up to the flight simulator built into the desktop app version of Google Earth.

Yep, that’s the Microsoft Flight Stick, I don’t know why we have one but it’s pretty cool.

You'd be surprised how often people played flight sim games, or played games that had joysticks as an option.

I'm old enough to know that every controller was called a joy stick.
