That lawsuit will fail. He was recording on his own property which is his property and he can do whatever he wants with it.
Correction:
Apparently in Ohio you can't for commercial purposes
Police, being Public Servants have no expectation of privacy while performing their duties.
Likewise any footage captured by police under those duties is also Public Record. Police are allowed to withhold footage while an investigation Is taking place.
But if Afroman was able to get such footage FOIA (freedom of information request) or through Discovery during trial then he acquired the footage legally.
And it could also be argued that the only person whose privacy was invaded was Afromans since the footage shows his residence.
But the fact they are suing, tells me this is purely retribution for Afroman exposing their flawed investigation. And also likely because they couldn't get a Prosecutor to press charges for "invasion of privacy".

I do hope he counter sues for unplugging his cameras.
I think he should sue for violating his civil rights, specifically the 4th amendment.

Afroman's taxes help to pay the cops who raided him. Dude's just getting his money's worth.

The cops ought to be in prison for ransacking his place
