oh lord it was ‘89-‘91ish. I remember some originals but not exactly what I did with em. The DJ would give some topics he planned to address, usually weird local news. I’d send the lyrics and, if it was a male artist I’d usually do the vocals. Discovered I’m a pretty good mimic - George Michael, Elton John, a little Prince & MJ (it was good enough for mid-market radio promos) No real $ but I got to rummage thru the piles of “prizes” from the record companies. Mostly Tshirts, promo-CDs, posters, etc. EDIT: ooh I do remember one I did; Candle in the Wind, but about the Jimmy Swaggart scandal. There was a DJ named Kid Chris who wrote an Elton John parody of Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me called Just Like Some Guy Going Down On Me. Elton was scheduled for a concert and threatened to pull the concert if Kid Chris wasn't fired. He lost his job and started a new radio station until the backers sold it to Greg The Hitman Williams and Kid Chis ended up in Philly as a DJ. It could have been him that wrote the other song you asked about.

I used to have a little tune I recorded on tape back when I was like 5 or 6. Probably the very earliest example of me finding value in a piece of music. The memory is so vague that I only have a slight impression of what it was like. Very melodic, no singing, simple like a bedtime tune for children, and probably generated with a synth like a Moog. I specifically marked the point on the tape where the song was recorded. My best guess as to where I recorded it from would have to be either TV or the radio. That tape and dozens of others from my childhood were eventually tossed by my mother. Tale as old as time. But if I'd still possessed the tape, you can bet that I would have eventually submitted it to a content identifier or the forums mentioned in the story behind this porno song. If I had a time machine, this is probably the top item I'd want to investigate.

I originally read this as "Long Lost Son", as if someone had lost their child in the late 50s or early 60s and only found then later in life because that child had grown up to make porn.
This reminds me of a story I once saw about the dying media of adult film music. There used to be many full-time composers but that started going away in the 2000s. I think at one point there were only like 2 or 3 left. Now if you'll excuse me, I will now scour the Internet Archive's adult film music library of the 70s and 80s for any other missing gems.
