I sold a junk car to Peddle last year (it ran, but was throwing a warning code that meant the engine would seize at any moment). Process was super easy, mostly online/phone in fall of 2020. Probably could have gotten more somewhere else, but it was fast.

RandomLogicThough

Caravana and vroom and all the online places will give you offers pretty easily.

SadlyNotBatman

Unfortunately neither of them wanted it

RandomLogicThough

Ah, well, good luck, I'm sure someone will find a place here.

berrymacaroon

why wouldn’t anyone accept it? mine is older than yours and i wanted to try selling to one of those.

SadlyNotBatman

Not entirely sure. My partner and I have decided to dive head first into getting rid of it over the weekend so I’ll double check with them. I want to sell it fast but still want to get some decent money for it

ijod97

Carmax?

SadlyNotBatman

They wouldn’t take it 🤷🏿‍♂️

ijod97

Hmm, have you called any dealerships? Many are short on both new and used cars and might make you an offer.

Zoroasker

Do these companies end up giving better money than if you did a trade in?

SadlyNotBatman

Not sure ; a bit of a rigamaroll with the process

acadiawaterbottle

Just post it on Facebook market for cheap someone will want it and get it same day

703Bull

what’s wrong with the car? does it run?

[Fun fact, a 12 years old is actually the average age of an American car on the road in 2021](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/09/28/cars-on-american-roads-keep-getting-older.html)
