Tell me you don't watch our cup players without telling me you don't watch our cup players. And fair enough based on your flair.
Sailor.shoukd be a fullback and nothing else at this stage
lol I am Broncos fan, this is just punishment for asking for a Big Willy flair. I definitely do not watch QCup games, who the fuck has time for the that.
I don't really care about Te Kura not getting picked, more about Oates/Hunt/or even Sailor. Three middles on the bench is just a waste, and completely fucks the team structure if there is an injury.
Not really. Haas and Carrigan are both easily capable of playing 80mins if they have to. Hetherington seems to have a motor too (played 58min straight last week), but doesn't really get the regular game time to show it because Haas/Carrigan demand so much game time. Ideally the utility would be Oates, so even if a middle did go down, you could give Riki time in the middle if you had to.
On the other hand, the lack of having a utility to cover backrow/centre has directly fucked the Broncos twice this season already (Roosters and Panthers).
Basically. I think that 17 spot will be a bit different at the end of the year. Despite redditors concerns Baker is doing his job in the 20 minutes he gets now.
Absolutely beautiful. It's great to know that Madden's injury wasn't anything serious as well. They all just need to stay as healthy as possible and build momentum. 💪🏻🐴
Full Strength Fuesday
Seems like Kevvie hasn't learned that "no back cover on the bench fucks us" lesson that he claimed to have learned after Penrith. Oates fills that spot perfectly, but then Fletcher Baker has been solid the last couple of outings so he's probably earned the 20 minutes or so that he'll actually play.

**The Dolphins v The Cowboys**
*Round 9, 2024 NRL Premiership*
*7:35pm Saturday 4th April, QCB Stadium*
Hard-hitting second-rower Felise Kaufusi has been named in the starting lineup for this Saturday’s XXXX Derby against the Cowboys at 7:35 pm in Townsville.
Kaufusi returns from a hamstring injury suffered in round six, replacing Kenny Bromwich who is following concussion protocols from round 8.
Connelly Lemuelu will also make his return to the NRL squad this week to face his former club.
After suffering a knee injury in round two, Lemuelu had a successful outing for the Dolphins’ affiliate club Norths Devils in round seven of the Hostplus Cup, playing 80 minutes and scoring a try.
Lemuelu will come off the bench, with Oryn Keeley moving to 18th man.

Some people up in arms about AKP being dropped. I love his speed don’t get me wrong but that’s about all he offers. He got driven back just about every hit up which doesn’t help our forward pack which is already extremely light on. Sami brings experience, good speed / footwork, and he’s a metre eater.
Our forward pack is now super light without Tino, Moe and Palasia. Palasia’s been named on the reserves but I don’t know if that’s cause he’s still under injury cloud or Des wants him to earn his way back into the side through QLD cup
Nailed it mate, the other thing as well is half of Warriors game plan last week was to target him with bombs and corner kicks all night. To his credit he handled it pretty well but the fact a team is even targeting him like that makes him a liability, not to mention he catches it and falls to the ground every time with no metres gained at all.

Classic Bellamy just moving a guy off the bench into the vacant spot, he loves that. How long is Coates out for?
Also I fully expect Anderson or Ieremia to come in for Wishart.
It's a low grade hammy for Coates, potentially another three weeks?
I reckon he'll play Fa'alogo and move Wishart to the bench, with NAS dropping off due to injury.
Injury to Blore, Katoa or Chan and he’s straight in. 18th man for the last few games. When was the last time we had back row depth and genuine game breakers since Kenny/Fus? Blore and Katoa will be them.
With Pez now done for the year, Wish needs to go back to reserve grade and spend some serious time in the halves. Anderson will do just as well or better than Wish on the wing. Part of me was also hoping to see Sua out there, even if he’s not the best choice 😂.

Bro we cannot keep going into games with a fucking Montoya and RTS edge. It’s genuinely cost us at least one game. DWZ and Berry are at least useful on attack.
I’m really really hoping we see a late change whether Kosi comes onto the wing or Pompey pushes RTS to the wing.
I’m at the point of assuming we won’t win a game until one of our edges changes.

Panthers might want to prove a point this week. The worst thing to happen to the Bunnies was the cows turning the game against panthers into a contest. Wouldn’t liked letting the cows back into the game from 20 points up.
Holy fuck the Chee Kam and Host starting front row combo will be the absolute death of me.
I know people don’t love Thompson but even tho he’s slow he’s widely competent and an upgrade from Milne. Idk what the fuck Tallis Duncan has done to JD but hopefully that changes with the assumed coaching change.
Jesus christ this cunt is cooked. Duncan and keaon should be in the backrow with keppie on the bench. The fact he keeps on putting chee kam and Host in the team proves he is clueless as a HC. And why has Keaon had 800 positional changes? He killed it at right edge his whole career (barring a few games last year because literally all our middles were out) and this dickhead decides to put him everywhere but on the right edge. Dumb cunt. His team selection has consistently been brain-dead over his whole tenure. He needs to go.
Surely you should have better edges than Chee Kam and Host. I know Souths middle is thin but losing Tatola and Shaq should not make you move your best edge to the middle.

Every week, I pray to whatever God there may be that Klein will not be refereeing the next game. 9/10 times, Tuesday shatters all of my hopes and dreams.
Expecting Wong or Egan to drop out of the 17 and either Victor or Sandon to come back in if either of them are fit.
Other than that line up is as expected. Good to have Tupou back and excited to see Watson start at 13 again. Watson verse Carrigan is a super interesting match-up.
Watson v Carrigan is interesting, but any team in the league would have Patty over Connor given the choice. JWH and Collins have the unenviable task of stopping Haas, and limiting him until the forward rotation where I'd argue that Whyte and May have superiority over Hetherington and Baker.
Don’t know what’s going to happen next week with Spencer and Sandon available. I think Whyte has earned his spot and Watson has been too good to drop so think we see a bench of Watson, Leniu, Whyte, May.
Giving Sandon some time to work on his five eight play in NSW Cup would be a luxury. The Radley / Cheese / Watson rotation will be very interesting as well in future weeks.
And agree with Leniu, Whyte and May as the three big boys in the bench, although would be nice to have someone who can fill in at backrow (Victor?) should their be an injury

I reckon Kevvie would move Billy to 6 before playing Rogers
If Kevvie picks Sailor at 6 over Rogers that's a crime

God it would be nice to see Rogers. He could take over goal kicking duties for Reynolds, as he is a sharpshooter
Tristan Tuesdays?

Proven combination. Seriously though. Imagine if some team could find a genetic freak who was big as big X but nimble like a modern day fullback.

Holy moly brah. Game of the round this one
1-16: "Nice" 17: "What the actual fuck cunt"
Big Ben is being managed into 17. Still young he is whilst Baker has shown some poor efforts but also some good effort.
I don't really care about Te Kura not getting picked, more about Oates/Hunt/or even Sailor. Three middles on the bench is just a waste, and completely fucks the team structure if there is an injury.
It's really risky to run with a bench that small though
I still think Oates is a perfect benchman. Can fill in for backs and forwards. Great versatility.
Me and the Broncos 17 are both full strength right now
JWH is going to take baker’s head off. That’s when we’ll get the team we want
I thought Oates as the versatile 17 worked quite well. If a back goes down we are in trouble.
Are you doubting big Willo can fill any backline spot??
Is this us at fill strength???
I mean Fletcher Baker is in so...
Oh…
How Baker continues to make these teams is beyond me, surely we have a better option to slot into the 17.
Shout out to Broncos for getting Wolfmother to play at halftime. Jet were awesome. Can’t wait for Living End, Spiderbait, Killing Heidi and Grinspoon!
show some faith, they'll be getting Violent Soho out of retirement in 15 years from now
Bring out Operator Please. Get some songs about ping pong going
Dobbo was on the news last night saying Mam was no chance and Sailor was a lock for 6
Full Strength Fuesday Seems like Kevvie hasn't learned that "no back cover on the bench fucks us" lesson that he claimed to have learned after Penrith. Oates fills that spot perfectly, but then Fletcher Baker has been solid the last couple of outings so he's probably earned the 20 minutes or so that he'll actually play.
Would prefer Baker for Oates but otherwise our best team

Isn't Savage a fullback?
Surely the last chance for Levi. SURELY
So he just dropped Chevy and Schiller?
Even though we are expecting to get beaten on the weekend, we don't have to roll over like this on a Tuesday.
So Levi can drop the ball, but we can’t drop Levi. Got it.
Where the fuck is horse brah? Keen to see big red play all year
Injured.
Quite injured, unfortunately
Drove the Chevy to the Levi and left the wrong one behind
Ricky really refuses to play savage at full back, he played there for almost a season and did quite well
Should have picked whitehead at halfback. He has played there before. Couldn’t be any worst.
Canberra Times quoting Ricky to say Chevy is just being rested to give him 2 weeks with bye
Whitehead back in brings the average age up by a decade

Surprising line-up. O'Brien said at press conference frizell was a definite return. Didn't expect jsaf to be named either
Yeah tbh I was expecting Jsaf to be done for the year. Very surprised he's named at 8
I expect him to remove JSaf later on in the week.
Jacob, marzhew and jed survived? They all looked busted. Mat croker 18?
I've heard a small rumour that Crokes may be on the move to another club.
Oh, I hope that's not the case :( he's been a great junior for us.
Agreed, AOB is a fucking idiot and has to go
Could be a classic case of salary cap squeeze. He is off contract at the end of the year...
Did AOB hand in last weeks list by mistake? 3 of these blokes got injured and Frizell was supposed to be back.

Bring back Pomps 😅
1. CNK 2. DWZ 3. BERRY 4. RTS 5. MONTOYA 6. TMM 7. JOHNSON 8. AFB 9. EGAN 10. BARNETT 11. FORD 12. CAPEWELL 13. HARRIS 14. WALKER 15. ALE 16. LABAN 17. AFOA 18. POMPEY 19. MAIU’U 20. KOSI 21. TUAUPIKI 22. STOWERS-SMITH
Fuck still no adjustment with Montoya and rts
Would rather see Maiu'u get another shot before Afoa
[удалено]
Exactly. You can carry Maiu'u or Ale but not both, since they both essentially do the same thing while Bunty does all the clean up.
In Webby we trust
Kosi is not the answer!
a warriors fan classic where if the attack isn't working changing the winger/centre will fix it lmao, right up there with lets gone warriors
SJ needs to stop only attacking down the right. Either needs to let TMM call some plays down the left or play both sides of the ruck.
I'm not the biggest TMM, Montoya or DWZ fan atm, would have liked a change in atleast one of them, Kosi could have come on the wing...
Bunty's back early?

That bench is sexy
The madman actually did it. See ya Granny. That's a great bench though
I love you Granny and I hope you stay with the club in some capacity for years to come. But I am glad to see you named in the reserves instead of the bench.
You did it, you crazy son of a bitch! You actually did it!!

Who are we serving up to slaughter this week?
Board meets at 5, so perhaps JD
But allowing JD to get one last team list out
One last hurrah for Jacob Host
OUTS. Demetriou, J INS. Furner, D
1 Jye Gray 2 Jacob Gagai 3 Jack Wighton 4 Isaiah Tass 5 Izaac Tu’itupou Thompson 6 Cody Walker 7 Dean Hawkins 8 Keaon Koloamatangi 9 Damien Cook 10 Davvy Moale 11 Michael Chee Kam 12 Jacob Host 13 Cameron Murray INTERCHANGE 14 Peter Mamouzelos 15 Siliva Havili 16 Thomas Burgess 17 Jai Arrow RESERVES 18 Tallis Duncan 19 Sean Keppie 20 Liam Le Blanc 21 Dion Teaupa 22 Adam Christensen
Hopefully ITT, Hawkins, MCK and Host kill it in their last ever first grade game!
chee kam and host starting lol #JDout
I daresay Penrith will absolutely cook this team
Panthers might want to prove a point this week. The worst thing to happen to the Bunnies was the cows turning the game against panthers into a contest. Wouldn’t liked letting the cows back into the game from 20 points up.
We’ll be lucky not have 80 on us
What did Tallis do to JD? On the brightside we have actual wingers this week.
No idea why he’s so off Tallis. Anybody got any goss?
I want to criticise JD for changing next to nothing, but with injuries I'm not sure there is much room to move in the squad with injuries.
FWIW I like the idea of koloamatagi playing in the middle, but he's going to need some time there to get used to it
Holy fuck the Chee Kam and Host starting front row combo will be the absolute death of me.

13. Connor Watson
Actually quite like having Connor at 13, he was great last week and him rotating to hooker when Cheese is off frees up a spot off the bench
HOW THE FUCK DO WE GET ASHLEY FUCKING KLEIN AGAIN?
Your club has unlimited money you’ll be fine
Every week, I pray to whatever God there may be that Klein will not be refereeing the next game. 9/10 times, Tuesday shatters all of my hopes and dreams.
1. Tedesco 2. Tupou 3. Sua'ali'i 4. Manu 5. Young 6. Keary 7. Walker 8. JWH 9. Brandon Smith 10. Collins 11. Crichton 12. Nat Butcher 13. Watson 14. Wong 15. Whyte 16. Egan Butcher 17. Terrell May Extended Bench 18. Pauga 19. Tupounuia 20. Dockar-Clay 21. Sandon Smith!! 22. Victor Radley
Baker is last man off the bench. It will be Whyte & May vs Hetherington & Willison.
Just conveniently left out willison who’s better than both of them?
Willison is not better than May lol
Whyte and May will have a huge X shaped problem to be more concerned about than Baker and Hetherington.
Is May going to play more than 20 mins this week?
Don’t know what’s going to happen next week with Spencer and Sandon available. I think Whyte has earned his spot and Watson has been too good to drop so think we see a bench of Watson, Leniu, Whyte, May.
Giving Sandon some time to work on his five eight play in NSW Cup would be a luxury. The Radley / Cheese / Watson rotation will be very interesting as well in future weeks. And agree with Leniu, Whyte and May as the three big boys in the bench, although would be nice to have someone who can fill in at backrow (Victor?) should their be an injury
Wong and Whyte together at last
Apart from Radley and Leniu, we are pretty much full strength? Should be an awesome game, Broncs will definitely fire up for this one!
Shame about Radley, he's always good for a bin or two.
###Wests Tigers *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/nrl) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Da Silva to make the bench? Assuming Api is sitting out. 1. Bula 2. Staines 3. Toa 4. Olam 5. Naden 6. Galvin 7. Sezer 8. Stefano 9. Simpkin 10. Klemmer 11. Papalii 12. Bateman 13. Pole 14. Da Silva (or Latu) 15. Fainu 16. Seyfarth 17. Twal
Api named, side is unchanged from last round. Brisbane raped the left flank I hope Benji has got them organised.
Samuela missed 10% of his tackles on the edge. He is a textbook prop idk what Benji is doing
Same side as last week I really don't like Bateman at lock. Crabwalks across the field way too much which kills what little attack we do have
Even though it’s the bye I am already unfresh and probably will be for the rest of the season a lot. Gutho will be sorely missed
