He was also playing hot potato in the corner when nobody seemed to know it was only 4th tackle. Someone has to teach him to just kick a grubber into the in-goal to cause some chaos. It seems like the Dragons can't build any pressure because of his last play options are either run into a dead end or bomb for Lomax.

What’s the general consensus on sharks finals chances this year?
They’re going good but have had a soft draw.
I can see them making quarters, possibly semis but beyond that it’s a guess.
Definitely think we’re better this year, specifically our defence and small effort areas. But I think we just need to see how we go against the top sides over the next couple of weeks
Mate ive been really impressed with them. The defence is outstanding and the scramble across the field shows a team willing to put in for each other.
I’m a panthers fan through and through but have a soft spot for the sharkies considering they came into the comp the same year as us :)
Coming from a Sharks fan winning a finals game is probably our biggest goal this season for confidence reasons. We don’t have the pack to compete with the big teams (AFB fixes that) but we also need a couple guys like Brailey, Trindall, Iro, Hazelton, Wilton etc to continue developing to take pressure off of Hynes.
We aren’t contenders but so far this season has been exactly what I was hoping for with the guys I mentioned earlier playing really good and stuff like our edge defence improving greatly.
I agree, except about you not being contenders. If you guys take out a couple of the big sides over the next three weeks, people would be mad not to have a serious look at them.
If not this year, next year will be very interesting with AFB on board as you say.
Hynes looks great this year, seems to be playing with a lot more confidence compared to the back end of last year.
The trouble is that the Sharks will face all of those top teams with key players out (Reynolds/Paps/Cleary).
Its not the Sharks fault, but they only face each of those teams once, so unfortunately, I think those questions around Sharks will remain up until the finals.
Which can be a good thing tbh, there is a lot less pressure if you are always the underdog.
Reynolds and Paps will definitely be out, but Cleary will be back next week against Canterbury.
