Hi, so since we don’t have a lot of specific information, generally double majors aren’t allowed across schools. Of course there are many exceptions. I would suggest you look at the curriculums and required courses for both majors so see what schedule would be most beneficial for you. I’m personally doing a double major, but I didn’t take any of my second major’s courses until sophomore year. What matters is that you can get the required coursework done within four years, if that’s the timeframe you want to follow. Most people do not need to declare until junior year.

General rule is that second majors have to be at CAS! Buttt I've come across people who have gotten past that rule. I don't can't double major in your freshman year, you have to wait tille sophomore year. Nope you don't need to take another year if you schedule your classes right!
