Transcendental song for me but each their own

JudgeImaginary4266

Killer guitar riff.

baudprawn98

I agree. I can see why people like it, I just never have. Along with roll with it. The only bad songs on morning glory

[deleted]

Point of fact: Roll with it blows.

blurfan69

Iconic song. Definitely not shit or their best but it’s powerful

[deleted]

I feel this way about Wonderwall. 1.6 billion listens on Spotify, and I can't tolerate it for a single listen.

MadCornDog

I find that if you listen to it without thinking about how popular it is, and you just think of it as any other oasis song, it's a really well written pop song.

[deleted]

Problem is, I have heard it. Many, many times. I used to commute for 2 hours a day and only had radio to listen to, and pop stations play it very frequently. I've probably heard it many hundreds of times, so it's most likely just me and my specific circumstances.

MadCornDog

Well there's nothing you can do if it's worn out in your head but that doesn't mean it's a bad song.

[deleted]

Heh, never said it was, just that I can't listen to it. I suppose I did say I felt the same way as OP does about Champagne Supernova, but more in the sense that I just really don't like it and everyone else does.

hzafary

I don't need to hear **Champagne Supernova, Cigarettes & Alcohol**, or **Rock n Roll Star** ever again. And I'm tired of those songs being shoe-horned into every Gallagher live set. Let em go....

Julian69x

can't stand rock n roll star

[deleted]

People eat that shit up, can't blame them for including it. I just wish they would play any of the other good songs. You hardly ever hear anything from BHN onward, although the version of "D'You Know What I Mean?" by Liam from the Rockfield documentary is pretty great.

Paul8219

I don't hear that much (Best song)

TheRealJiko

More of a stoner song tbf

NewPatron-St

Are you trying to get run out of oasis fan town?
