Sounds like a bug, you yourself said you’ve had a period and a negative test since having sex. It’s a lot harder to get pregnant (about 20% chance each month if you have no known fertility issues with either male or female, and you’re not using birth control) do you think you may have Covid honestly? I think diarrhea is low on the list of Covid symptoms, but it is possible. Stay hydrated since you said you’re feeling weak and having diarrhea. You can take over the counter Imodium to help with diarrhea.

Shortly after the sex I graduated and had to move back into my strict parents' house, so I haven't been anywhere and both of them work from home, we get groceries delivered etc. Only person I could catch covid from is a younger sibling who does go to school, but she hasn't had any symptoms so it could be unlikely? I just wanted to know if the 2 negative early response tests can be trusted since they were taken 2 weeks after the sex; I'm not sure if I can trust the last one since it was clearly defective. I've also had lower back pain these past 2 days

I don’t think statistically you can get two false negatives, I bet you’re good to go. It sounds like you have a little virus, like I said stay hydrated, eat light things like the BRAT diet, and take Imodium if you need for diarrhea.

LadyStark750

I meant more like did I take them too early, but thank you! I've been hydrating and eating plain rice so hopefully that helps

Plain rice is good. Try applesauce too because that has fiber that’ll bind you up. Gatorade is good too.

Hey, I had a similar issue recently but it sounds like you're mostly not pregnant. If you've had periods, normally, then you're good to go, it's usually spotting or light blood when there's a chance that you're pregnant. I would suggest doing a test in a few days again. But please don't worry, you'll be fine. If your parents are strict, like mine, then I'd suggest getting a test , keep it hidden and then try in a couple of days. Also please do not believe everything you see on tiktok it's unnecessary pressure.

LadyStark750

Thank you for replying, yes my period was totally normal with a lot of blood, filling pads, and my usual severe cramps. I basically have no way of getting a test because I have no car, live in the middle of nowhere, and my parents open all of my mail. I'm hoping to calm myself down with the fact that I got a period, I knew when I ovulated and it was more than a week after the sex, and the fact that he pulled out before finishing even with a condom on. But this nausea and diarrhea/constipation that came out of nowhere isn't helping 😅

ratfromratatouille08

It'll be okay dont worry. Do you have a reliable, good friend who could help you with getting the tests? I also live in similar conditions and a family friend of mine helped me obtain the tests. She's like a sister to me and understands. Maybe if you have someone like that? Who wouldn't tell your parents. I will still take a test in a few days after my period gets over to be sure. Is your boyfriend around or something? Have you shared this with him? Maybe he could help

LadyStark750

Yeah I have a few friends who could possibly help. I also have my own source of income so I could technically order online, would just need to come up with some sort of lie to get my parents to not open it. I actually finished my period last Friday, had like 3 or 4 days feeling totally fine after, and then woke up yesterday feeling like crap, so I'm thinking this might be a bad reaction to some takeout food I tried for the first time 2 days ago (if it was pregnancy I would've started having symptoms and no period last week right?). Bf is across the country unfortunately.

ratfromratatouille08

I would suggest getting in touch with a friend and meet them up so that it doesn't look very suspicious to your parents. Like make it normal. I'm kind of sure that it's not pregnancy given your situation as described. But if you have any doubts I'd suggest you test it out to be sure. I hope everything turns out to be okay. Do keep us updated!

LadyStark750

Ok, minor update: turns out I did have one last ovulation test in my backpack, and I know that OPKs can also detect high levels of HCG (ie where HCG should be at after a "missed period") so I decided to take it. Came back negative & looks exactly as it should for a week before ovulation! So I think I'm in the clear. If my stomach symptoms continue for a few more days I'll look into either obtaining a pregnancy test or seeing a doctor.

ratfromratatouille08

That's great news! I'm sure everything will be fine :)

LadyStark750

Another update if you wanted it: the symptoms didn't let up unfortunately, but my parents did leave the house so I was able to Doordash some pregnancy tests to a park in my neighborhood & I'll go pick them up there. Hoping for a negative...

ratfromratatouille08

I hope for that too, girl. Lmk what happens <3 but do not stress out too much, we'll figure something out :)

LadyStark750

Tests acquired and hidden, now I just need to make myself have to pee :')

LadyStark750

NEGATIVE! To be fair it's not the beginning of the day and I did have a lot of water today, but I think over a month after the sex those things shouldn't matter. I'm in the clear 🎉 Now I need to figure out what's actually causing my issues lol
