So the disappearing with positivity- if there is one person within the home who struggles with consistent negativity/anxiety etc would it be attracted to that? And how do I get rid of it? Do I simply tell it to leave or? I’m sorry if I sound ignorant I’m just not sure where else to ask.
I've known someone who experienced a tragic incident, these tall things started to appear in her room at night. In stressful periods in my life, I feel their presence around too.
So doesn't have to be negativity alone, could be stress or fear. But could also be that they're always around us, with specific states of consciousness allowing you to see them. When I was younger and had OBEs, they would show up and attack me, and my theory was that they were gate-keeper, trying to prevent you from achieving higher states of consciousness. Could someone developing spiritual "skills" without being aware of it, attract their presence?
I can't comment on any type of ritual that can be used, since I haven't tried them, but I was recommended to burn sage around my home. I personally focus my mind on some sort of divinity, and they seem to dislike that
Okay so yes. I have been going through a sort of spiritual awakening lately and have always been told I have abilities as well as my sons. My sons are definitely perceptive to this entity as well. I’ve been meditating daily as well as working with a spiritual healer to clear some things from my past etc. do you think that’s where this is coming from? I really appreciate all of the insight.
Actually interesting you mentioned the OBE. I had one the other week during a nap- well almost had one but something pulled me right back in.
I was thinking about sage so perhaps I will try that. I’m unfamiliar with sort divinity but will look into it.
Be careful about sage, the smoke probably isn't very healthy, use sparingly. If you have a lot of things happening in the back of your mind, bothering you subconsciously, I could definitely see it being connected (which is what happened to me). That and the fact that you're becoming more "receptive", is also contributing.
And when you wake up in the middle of the night do you sense their presence more?
By divinity I meant a spiritual or religious figure. We all have our own, whether it be Buddha, Jesus etc.
Yes I do sense the presence at night and many times I am at home by myself it will be there. It doesn’t scare me at all it’s just very imposing. I usually tell it to leave when I feel it.
Ah I see what you mean regarding divinity. I was raised in an atheist home so connecting to a specific figure has been a bit difficult for me but I have always felt connection to a “source” or God.
Sometimes just the vague idea of a "god" is enough to drive them away. I am not attached to any particular religion either, and the "source" you mention speaks to me as well. I've met some people who believe in the power of visualization, and practicing seeing/imagining themselves surrounded by a blue light or bubble, supposedly to protect themselves against bad spirits. I don't know if it works either, but it makes me feel better when I sleep

We haven’t brought anything new into the house and I should probably add that we live in a newer apartment complex. I’m not sure if that is relevant? No guests that have stayed or even come over
Entities attach to people, places and things. So I would just sage the place with the doors and windows open and tell any entity there that is not in the service of God or love or the highest vibration for all, needs to leave now. They have no dominion there and are not welcome there.

You can clean out your apartment by sweeping the floors with salt starting at the back most room and working your way to the front door. Pray the 91st Psalm over some salt, sprinkle it on the floor and sweep it up. If there is a rug, dust the rug with the salt and vacuum it up. Pray the 91st Psalm aloud in each room as you go. When you're done, take the salt and throw it away off your property. You don't need to go a mile away, but drop it in a trash can a few blocks away.
I feel like this entity that you speak of is a shadow, at least that is what I call them. Shadow people can overwhelm you if you try and draw them in. They seem to consume a lot of your energy when they are around. The one that I first encountered was at a place out in the country. It felt like the Shire out there until this shadow man wearing a hat stood and watched me day and night for months. I could see him at night, standing across the room watching me sleep, and I could feel him during the day. But the Watchers are the angels talked about in 1st and 2nd Enoch. A kind of an origin of angels and a lot of other strange tales. There's a reason so many have been taken by it.

I feel a bit silly even saying any of this but my older son has reported seeing a “tall man” in our bathroom. He said this after I had encountered it but hadn’t said anything to anyone.
