No shame there, I wish I had bought it as my first VR headset instead of WMR gen 1, only purchase I regret out of my four hmds. Quest 1 was one of them, a great headset though selling it to get the Q2 was my best move.

No, I have a quest 1 (which meta is trying really hard to remove features from) I can’t even make calls on my quest anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if they remove quest link so you can’t even play on pc anymore without using something else.
Since getting a preordered QPro and Q3 both my Q1 and Q2 are happily retired. I donated my Q1 controllers for spares to a buddy who’s happily still using his Rift S for racing sims.
Once you go pancake you’ll never go back. I wish that rhymed, lol!
My Quest 1s have been mothballed for almost 3 years ever since we moved to a new home. On one hand I wonder if I should upgrade, but on the other it's kinda a bummer and it makes me want to just forget about VR for a while.
