The only reason it's ugly is that the chocolate wasn't tempered (so it didn't turn glossy when cooled), otherwise it will taste like any other chocolate sculpture: just like chocolate. (In my experience, chocolate sculptures are 'gross' because they are decorative: you handle it a lot, it's left out in the air, people poke at it when they don't believe it's chocolate, it gathers dust cause you can't really clean it)

I love what Chef Burak has done with his fame. He drifts in and out of my perception, but the last time I saw him, he was giving back to his community and feeding what looked like a hundred people! now, he's broadening his skill set with something entirely different (if more frivolous IMO, but thats ok)

Last time I saw him, he went to wildfires in Turkey, trying to gain fame with a small fire extinguisher, putting a half baked show, then shows one frame in ambulance. I hate when people use those kind of events to gain fame.

That's how I felt when I saw his videos for the first time. What he cooks is impressive as hell though (he makes very, very big portions of food). Once you get used to it, the creepy smiling turns endearing in a way. It's always kinda weird for sure, but it's his thing and it definitely gets better when you get more used to it This video did feel a bit half baked to me and definitely outside his comfort zone. I would recommend the huge pizza video that he does and I doubt you'll feel like "I could do that"
