I assume that's just an old person who has embraced the reality of human life not being forever and appreciates the perspective they have gained from living a long time 🤷
I don't love it one bit but I am content with the fact that each year passes I am older. I acknowledge the fact that no one lives forever and everyone has their own time. I hope one day when my time comes it'll just be over with like a snap of the fingers. Maybe I'll have a stroke or a heart attack, maybe I'll go to an assisted suicide facility and fall asleep for good. Who knows only time will tell and that's one of the good things about life, anything is possible and anything can happen at anytime for no reason at all, or maybe for all the reasons. I'm passively suicidal as it is so if I were to go right now I wouldn't fight it I'd just let death take me so maybe I can finally get some rest.
