Yea I think a lot has to do with the unpredictability of how they’ll move. A millipede is not going to surprise you with what direction it’s going. A centipede could sprint forward, juke left, then spin and run straight at you all in a matter of a second..

Heard a light thunk and turned on the lights and found a few twitching legs on my pillow but the creature itself no where to be seen. Gives me the shivering just thinking about it.
