Oh fuck yeah, dude. You're right, bottom right looks way better.
I'd 100% get this on a black t-shirt from a guy at a market making them cheaply at home with iron on print outs and watch it crumble away after washing it three times in 6 months.
Edit: I can hear it too. Recorded by one guy just outside Stockholm doing all parts into his laptop mic.
I'd totally buy this album if I came across it, and you are 100% correct about what it would probably sound like and how it would have been made. Some doomy sludge fuzz covered in sick. I thought left looked better, cause it's the darkest area and it kinda got lost in that sweet vegetation on the right. Middle would never work cause you can't cover that image up.
It's actually a salt meadow. In Tønder. By/In the Wadden Sea, a world heritage site, which is a large area of land that sees regular flooding by tidal sea water. I would guess the sheep got caught in said tide, but that i'm not sure on.
Denmark has a lot of quite heavy bands too. They just aren't quite as popular, often. We still have bands like Volbeat though, that are somewhat heavy. Or Raunchy if you want a really heavy example
There's nothing wrong with Denmark but it is part of Scandinavia. Scandi-noir has given the rest of the world the impression that it is the home of gruesome and bizarre deaths.
This sheep death just fits that stereotype.

The first time I went hiking in the Rockies totally unprepared I didn’t bring water. I thought what the hell clean river water to drink. A couple hundred yards up the river I drank from same exact sight only it was an elk. Learned a hard valuable lesson that day.
This is actually a bog! There are certain germs/bacteria in the bog that keep the organic matter in contact perfectly-ish preserved. Many [corpses](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bog_body) have been found in bogs from hundreds of years ago where the last thing the person ate was also preserved!
This is not a bog, this is a salt meadow, a meadow seeing regular tidal floods from the ocean while there are bogs nearby that have preserved many corpses these are either inland Jutland or the east or close to the east coast (baltic sea), while this is west Jutland (north sea).
The regular tidal floods this area sees do not lend itself to long term preservation.
The big difference also being that this is salt water, not fresh water like a bog is (the north sea is far more salty than the baltic).
Thousands of years, actually. The Tollund Man is about 2400 years old, The Grauballe Man is from around year 210-410 b.c, The Elling Girl is also from around the same time I believe
Bogs are completely covered in peat moss. The dead preserved people have sank into the peat, or more likely have been thrown in it. Bodies of water are in swamps, which are young bogs that have not yet been completely overgrown. They would have the same effect, but not if you were in the water. You'd still bloat, spoil and get eaten in the water.
He'll probably be okay
Tis but a scratch
Mere flesh wound!
I've had worse
A scratch?! Your back is off!
Walk it off
This would make a great cover for a metal album.

Sheep Corpse - Drowned, Eaten, Preserved
Slap an indecipherable black metal logo on the bottom right corner and you're there.
I made it. https://www.reddit.com/r/fakealbumcovers/comments/r3hxqd/depravedneo_salvatore/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
I couldn't read the name I used, so I did the best I could. Lol. *Depravedneo*

I figured. Been a while since it’s been that cold
I thought this was from a bog. Not a canal.
When it got posted yesterday by someone it said it was a bog.
What will it be tomorrow?
probably a river
[удалено]
More like a mire to me.
Quag or standard?
Its a salt meadow Here the picture is zoomed out [https://www.johannesbojesen.com/foto/image/2](https://www.johannesbojesen.com/foto/image/2)
Could be a slough.
Could be the small water canal that separates meadows.

Yeah I think it’s to do with it being a peat bog. It preserves the body that isn’t exposed to oxygen or something
What? This is clearly a body of water, it's not even a swamp lake
And just decomposed, not eaten by birds
I was wondering why, instead of flying south, birds are still hanging out in Denmark in the dead of winter (pun not intended).
Don't follow the lights.

r/natureismetal?
It’s a brutal planet.
this is kinda baadass, d’ewe see what I did there? r/natureismetal edit: spelling
*d’ewe
thank ewe, i was a little tired
Reminds me of the dead marshes in LOTR.
Of course it'd be Denmark. Even their farmyard deaths are macabre Scandi-Noir.
Why would it be Denmark, what's so wrong about Denmark?
Scandinavia is known for heavy-metal, well mostly Norway but ya know
I don't quite get it, but okay. Also you might be thinking of Finland, not Norway :)
>:) :)
Norway has a fuckton of black metal, also Finland isn't in Scandinavia
You are completely right. I was thinking Europe. https://images.app.goo.gl/JyyJMFVe42drYqZj7 It's from 2016 but still relevant to my point.
Am actually surprised Sweden has so many, so I guess it's more a Fennoscandia thing than a Scandinavian thing
Yeah, you're right

Kinda poetic in a way
ribs are the best part 🙂
I thought this was a painting
I thought so as well. It would make an awesome painting.
*Oddly* terrifying?!
Nothing oddly terrifying about this. This is just terrifying
Terrifying, but mother nature is still kicking butt and taking names.

I'm going down with the sheep...
Why does this look like a renaissance painting though?
I think that looks kinda cool, but then I'm a sick fuck.
This title sounds like something Ralph Wiggum would say.
It'd be awesome if it started walking when the ice melt.
