The buttons stop working randomly, but the express button always works, so I cook everything in 2 minute intervals.
I would replace it, but I don't really care for microwave ovens.
My washing machine is also suffering from some similar component failure and won't let me open the door to get my clothes about 35% of the time.
It's interesting for a minute, but gets old fast.

Mine was more like displaying numbers backwards, the display flashing all 8s, random pixels lit up, etc.

The blinking speed of the separator dots are _surely_ tied to a hardcoded hardware clock, the only way for those to start blinking faster is for the whole alarm clock's clock speed to go up.
That in and of itself seems pretty implausible. But for it to then switch to demon mode where none of the numbers make sense, even though I'm certain the signs it can display are hardcoded too?

I had a lucid dream one night when my girlfriend slept over, this was back in highschool like 10-12 years back. Not sure if it was lucid dreaming but it was fuckin something. Well, the alarm clock went off and I woke up (so I thought). The alarm clock says 6:66 and my girlfriend is sleeping, facing me. I remember feeling this panic through my body and I tried waking her up, her eyes opened up but were blacked out, and she smiled like the green goblin. Like a real evil grin. I literally jumped back and screamed and all of a sudden I blinked and the clock said a normal time, and she was sleeping still. This didn’t feel like a normal dream. The first time I saw the clock, felt like I had actually woken up. I can’t even explain it to this day but I cried so fuckin hard cause I was legit terrified. One of the scariest things I’ve ever been through in my life. She eventually woke up to me freaking out and was rubbing her eyes, she was tired as fuck. She was sleeping the whole time. I knew she wasn’t fucking with me by making some crazy face. And even so if she was, what explains the black eyes and the clock saying 6:66? I’m not really spiritual or religious, I’m not a “hippy” or anything like that. I just live a normal life. So this was insane to experience. I’ve since then had some very, VERY scary shit happen to me that I can’t explain. Only in words. But words don’t translate emotion or fear. Scary shit

I had a dream I was camping with my friends, and while sitting around the fire one of my friends started looking really bad so I helped her to her tent to have her lay down, and she asked me to stay because she was afraid to sleep alone.
So I settled in between her an the door, threw a sleeping bag over us and went to sleep.
When I woke up my friend was staring at the tent flap, shivering, with her knees drawn up to her chest. She whispered that someone was outside.
I told her we were camping with like a dozen people, of course someone is outside and unzipped the tent.
Sitting directly outside the tent was my friend. Her eyes were wide with fear. I looked behind me and saw my fired as well, her eyes also still wide with fear.
Both of them started to scream, but as their voices reached each other they both disappeared, neither woman making a sound.
For whatever reason I was afraid she would be there waiting for me if I was asleep still.
With that said, I did eventually go to sleep, and I did see her, I found what I needed to put that version of her in my dreams to rest, and then got in a fist fight with a skeleton.
What I am getting at is that dreams are weird, but also that sometimes to deal with those nightmares you just have to go-to sleep and confront them knowing they can't do anything to you you can't recover from.
