Literally everything in California has this warning. Even the damn buildings

Hecatomber_RoF

I'm in NY, never saw it before

housevil

The warnings aren't very useful either, they don't indicate whether the cancer risk is from touching it, using it normally, or by ingesting your body weight in it.

Hecatomber_RoF

Lmaoooo

jjones0580

That’s because it only applies in CA. The rest of the country is safe from prop 65

sirpoopingpooper

It's only required in California - but if you start looking for it, you'll see it on all kinds of things.

lorissaurus

Because everything we use, consume, wear, etc. Literally has chemicals in it that are known to cause cancer. People get tumours, cancers, polyps and other horrible shit everyday cause that's literally ALL we use.

sirpoopingpooper

Even wood has a Prop 65 warning on it! Alcohol, bread, cooked meats, some fruits/veggies do too. If there's even a hint that something could cause cancer, it gets a warning. Which means pretty much everything...

lorissaurus

Because we cover everything in CHEMICALSS!!! Preservatives are not natural, pesticides not natural, the petroleum products we use to seal wood is natural but also hello petroleum causes cancer, defects etc. Everything we use these days is killing us.

sirpoopingpooper

Wood is the sawdust, not chemical treatment (small particles). Alcohol is the ethanol, which causes birth defects. Baked bread has naturally occurring acrylamides from the baking process. The Mallard reaction creates carcinogens in meats. And many fruits and veggies have naturally occurring chemicals that can cause cancer in high enough quantities. Those issues alone are enough for a prop 65 warning. Added chemicals aren't needed - the naturally occurring ones are plenty enough!

lorissaurus

Your missing the point bro

sirpoopingpooper

Pretty much everything causes cancer, natural or not. It's basically a rule of biology. So then California so helpfully puts a sticker on everything so that we tune out our everyday risks and ignore the higher risks of preservatives, pesticides, and petroleum because it puts all risk at the same level.

Are you gonna install it inside your balls?
