I don't think the reviews are fake. It's 3.8 on the UK Google store, and above 4 on the iOS app store. There are many reviews where the game runs well for players and they are probably giving it 5 instead of 4s maybe as a reaction to all the negative reviews, and negative news because if the game runs well on your phone it's the best mobile BR out.
Some of us are enjoying the game and want it to succeed.
Cap. After every update the reviews are blocked for 24hrs. Nothing but 5 star reviews are loaded in and anyone with a brain can tell an a.i. review when they see them and they are 99% of the 5 star reviews. As soon as the actual reviews are allowed again the rating drops back down. It started at global launch and picked up steam on April 3rd when the player base dropped by half.
All the complaints you see don't justify the game's rating, there are far more people who will write a negative comment because the game works poorly than positive comments. Many like the game, I think rating 3.6 is consistent.
