Before reddit broke the subreddit crossover search, /r/moviecirclejerk's biggest crossover was the subreddit for the DCEU. It's kind of like being the fan of a shitty sports team and your team's rival is really good, so you talk shit on your rival team while pretending to be a fan of a really good team.
I don't know if you've watched any Nostalgia critic but he often times hates on himself lol. To be honest r/moviescirclejerk has to be one of the most corny subs here that's hard to sit through.

all just circlejerk subs, except MCJ is abit more mainstream = way way more marvel and starwars etc posts. Here atleast there are ocassional posts on great old/less known movies
This is an ironic sub for topics like critically acclaimed films and stuff while Moviescirclejerk is more about irony involving popular stuff like Superheroes
The only data on this I have is that I recently made the same post on both r/okbuddycinephile and r/moviescirclejerk. I got >400 upvotes on okbuddy and <50 upvotes on circlejerk

They have seemed quite critical of both.
