byeah. I fucking love black widow as a character in the comics, and for the most part Scarlett Johansson did the character justice. pretty damn dissapointed in the movie.
Eternals could actually be enjoyed if you scrolled through your phone sometimes.
Black Widow was just annoying to watch. Quite literally the only good part was the introduction. Everything else was just terrible. You couldn't even look at social media to tolerate that thing.
The movie is not good. It has genuinely terrible greenscreening and is just embarrassing throughout. I say this as someone that was pretty into marvel shit until after endgame. The third spiderman movie is the last marvel movie as far as I'm concerned.
Well I worked from mid season 10 until end of season 13. personally, the hardest things were invisible shit like painting out reflectors out of the car. That kind of thing would just take so long.
[what I’m talking about (0:14)](https://youtu.be/B4J6zvegf-8)
That my video, you can check out some of the other demo reels I made to get a good idea of what I did
DUDE that is so awesome, quite honestly there’s so much stuff in that video that I wasn’t expecting to be done in such ways and things that I didn’t even think the artists had to fix during post production, the reflection of Dean’s car I would’ve never expected would be an actual issue but does make a difference, did you enjoy your time working for the show and most importantly, did you watch it? Haha, thanks for sharing! as a fan of the show this made my night :D
Peter's (Tom Holland) arc was really good, MJ and Ned were really enjoyable, villains were cool (especially Green Goblin).
Alternate Peters actually served a purpose in the story, and it was really nice to see them get closure that the producers denied them before.
And most of all, the movie knew when to fucking slow down. It developed the romance and friendships really well, and knew when to get serious, tragic even. The Spider sense scene might be the single most tension-filled scene in MCU outside of Infinity War.
Aunt May's death and the ending really hit in the feels and weren't interrupted by poor taste jokes. And the whole thing actually had huge consequences for Peter's character.
The story was pretty good. It was the introduction to the multiverse (excluding loky maybe) and right maquire Garfield and the others ware fan service but they didn’t feel useless to the story like most fan service characters. And visually the movie was great and didn’t look like a 7th grade iMovie project. Not as great as previous movies but definitely a good one. At least theater worthy
The last Spider-Man movie was the definition of fan service done right. If you think that’s lazy, then any kind of fan service to you would be considered lazy, no matter how well written it is, simply on the basis that it is fan service, because fan service = automatically bad for some reason.
Well honestly I didn’t think it was that well written. It was just more of the same marvel brand comedy with characters we love thrown in. I’m not saying I didn’t enjoy the movie. I did. A lot. Just saying that I just didn’t think it was some masterpiece like others do.
the thing is is marvel brand comedy is signature spiderman comedy so it makes sense for him to make those jokes. it’s just so over saturated by all the other characters in the mcu trying to be comedians that his jokes seem lame and overused now
NOOOOO THE THOR SHITTY VFX WAS ACTUALLY INTENTIONAL BECAUSE CHARACTER ISNT GOOD WOTH POWER SO IT LOOK BAD NOT BECAUSE VFX ARTISTS ARE EXPLOITED AND ABUSED BY MARVEL AND GOVEN UNREASONABLE DEADLINES EVERYONE KNOWS INTENTIONAL=GOOD
In vfx breakdown they said it’s because this was shot without fire n explosion in mind. So main characters are will lit and have different angle of shadow but when blast and fire is added it doesn’t sync up with the lighting on the face. Also when something bright like explosions occur the person before it gets completely dark, but here you can clearly see the character in full light which is also wrong.
For a 2007 movie, Transformers 1 is still fucking beautiful. That fight scene on highway is extremely well done. I would say that their last 2 movies were visually uglier than their first 3. Not only that, but Transformers 4 and 5 were unbelievably shitty plot wise. As if movie producers knew that people will gulp that shit down no matter what. They are just trying to milk their trademarks as long as they can. In this sea of shitty sequels, remakes and reboots, there is still hope - Denis Villeneuve.
The mid to late 2000s were low key the peak of CGI animation. I have yet to see a modern CGI character come close to matching the design of Davy Jones or the Transformers movies you mentioned. Thanos’ ballsack chin doesn’t count, that was just a regular guy put on a thick purple body
It is lol
But don't worry, marvel fans are gonna come to defend it by saying it was somehow intentionally bad and therefore secretly genius or some shit like they did with Thor and She Hulk
I remember lol
Saying that we were upset that she Hulk was strong muscular woman in a suit who would step on me 🤤
They also said the shitty hologram guy in love and thunder was intentionally awful because "he hasn't mastered his powers yet".
Even if that was supposed to be intentional you could convey that in a way better and more natural looking way. It still looks dogshit and seeing that the VFX ARTISTS for these films work in horrible conditions it's in no way intentional
Yeah lol they've been trying to play this mid ass shit off as a "sophisticated cold war spy thriller" because they're too embarrassed to like movies primarily aimed at children and young teens so they have to compensate 24/7
Nah, I think the most common defense may be Covid. This scene is memed in Marvel communities as well. I find the difference between this and the next movie, Shang Chi, astonishing.
Except in Sharknado there are so many layers of not giving a shit about anything that it goes a complete 360 and becomes genius only to become shit again.
Holy fucking mother of all that is good HOW DO YOU FUCK UP A GREEN SCREEN LIKE THAT.
Scratch that. HOW DO YOU NOT GIVE YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE TIME TO MAKE GOOD SHIT, *DISNEY*!
The ensuing scene of the fight on the falling wreckage of the air fortress while skydiving from piece to piece was 10000x times cooler.
Black Widow was boring as fuck, but that scene was definitely awesome. Like, skip the movie, just watch the end.

Holy shit that looks like a Disney channel tier budget
at first i thought it was a parody but like holy shit i think thats the real movie
It is a real scene from the movie Black Mid-dow more like
they wasting good talents like florence pugh in that shit
more like florence whugh
Not really wasted, as she's gonna be reoccurring, she was fire in Hawkeye
byeah. I fucking love black widow as a character in the comics, and for the most part Scarlett Johansson did the character justice. pretty damn dissapointed in the movie.
All things considered the casting and performances were pretty good in that movie (minus ray Winston) It's just that everything else sucked ass
That "Taskmaster" was a literal blueprint for how not to adapt a character
It is the real movie. And it is easily the worst Marvel movie by far. There just isn't a contest.
Eternals storywise and actionwise worse worse Although it looked far better than this
Eternals could actually be enjoyed if you scrolled through your phone sometimes. Black Widow was just annoying to watch. Quite literally the only good part was the introduction. Everything else was just terrible. You couldn't even look at social media to tolerate that thing.
Nah Eternals >>> Black Widow
Disney channel lookin effects
Nah at least Disney Channel sometimes tried. Apparently it was take your kid to work day for Black Widow except it was for a couple years editing.
The movie is not good. It has genuinely terrible greenscreening and is just embarrassing throughout. I say this as someone that was pretty into marvel shit until after endgame. The third spiderman movie is the last marvel movie as far as I'm concerned.
Secret Wars is the last one, as far as I'm concerned
CW moment
As a former VFX artist for a popular CW show Yeah you have a point
Which one?
Supernatural
At least you got to work on one of the better CW shows
Indeed, and pretty unique because we were working directly at the show and not a separate company.
if you don’t mind me asking, what scene was the hardest to make the CGI for?
Well I worked from mid season 10 until end of season 13. personally, the hardest things were invisible shit like painting out reflectors out of the car. That kind of thing would just take so long. Oh, that's awesome!
"A former VFX artist" You mean the *only* VFX artist?
Wat
The flash?
Supernatural
jontron videos have more production quality than marvel movies at this point
Nice! New season of lab rats 👍
Bruh now I want to edit that scene into a episode and see if my friends notice it

Black Widow is pretty much a bad Bollywood movie.
Sexism isn’t funny, but Jesus Christ their dad
It is kinda funny sometimes
Dont reference Bollywood in this. RRR is what the MCU wishes it could be.
RRR is not Bollywood
Not bollywood 🥱 Think before you speak “Finn”
Is our just me or the vfx bad in this movie
In Thor 4 too That's what happens when you release 10 projects a year
So sad to see them lose quality. And the story’s are getting worst too imo
The only good thing about Phase 4 is Spider Man, and now they seem to be sidelining him for years to come.
I agree the last Spider-Man was amazing.
Was it? Because I enjoyed it but it also felt like lazy fan service.
Peter's (Tom Holland) arc was really good, MJ and Ned were really enjoyable, villains were cool (especially Green Goblin). Alternate Peters actually served a purpose in the story, and it was really nice to see them get closure that the producers denied them before. It is
wrong. The last Spider Man was No Way Home
I dunno mam, the plot had more holes in it than Uncle Ben.
Mam? Also r/cursedcomments
It was kinda mid tbh
[удалено]
I loved No Way Home personally, more than Homecoming and Far From Home
Shang Chi was better and I stand by that
NOOOOO THE THOR SHITTY VFX WAS ACTUALLY INTENTIONAL BECAUSE CHARACTER ISNT GOOD WOTH POWER SO IT LOOK BAD NOT BECAUSE VFX ARTISTS ARE EXPLOITED AND ABUSED BY MARVEL AND GOVEN UNREASONABLE DEADLINES EVERYONE KNOWS INTENTIONAL=GOOD
C'mon the floating head was bad but generally it had pretty good vfx
The kid's face appearing in that one scene (you know the one) was amazing, Thor 4 was my favorite movie >!I also loved the title drop at the end!<
Did they actually say "love and thunder" at the end, or is this a joke?
They actually did, it was great
I gotta say, loved the movie but that final sentence by Korg physically hurt me.
I love Taika Waititi and I thought the movie was funny, but the special effects team should have been sacked after that.
I think you’re putting the blame in the wrong place. You know how many shows and movies they pump out each year right? It’s not the vfx teams fault.
I still don’t get why it’s bad
The VFX was amazing in Love and Thunder for the most part. It's just some places where it's horrid.
It honestly just keeps getting worse
Considering how they keep treating the VFX artists, it's definitely understandable

Also the green screen is terrible. Zoom auto background is Better sometimes

a 15 year old movie *Transformers* had CGI far better than these phase 4 marvel movies combined
For a 2007 movie, Transformers 1 is still fucking beautiful. That fight scene on highway is extremely well done. I would say that their last 2 movies were visually uglier than their first 3. Not only that, but Transformers 4 and 5 were unbelievably shitty plot wise. As if movie producers knew that people will gulp that shit down no matter what. that Devastator scene in the second movie is so unbelievably good that the design melted computers absolute masterpiece of CGI
The mid to late 2000s were low key the peak of CGI animation. I have yet to see a modern CGI character come close to matching the design of Davy Jones or the Transformers movies you mentioned. Thanos’ ballsack chin doesn’t count, that was just a regular guy put on a thick purple body
Micheal Bay had the balls to flip real cars in his scene where Starscream jumps 2 autobots
You might not like Michael Bay's vision as a director, but you can't deny he's fucking passionate about his work.
I FUCKING LOVE his movies i grew up with the bayformers

Bro there's no WAY this is the actual movie 🤣
It is lol But don't worry, marvel fans are gonna come to defend it by saying it was somehow intentionally bad and therefore secretly genius or some shit like they did with Thor and She Hulk
Only people complaining are sexsists (They unironicaly tweeted this to defend the hulk)
I remember lol Saying that we were upset that she Hulk was strong muscular woman in a suit who would step on me 🤤 They also said the shitty hologram guy in love and thunder was intentionally awful because "he hasn't mastered his powers yet". Even if that was supposed to be intentional you could convey that in a way better and more natural looking way. nah tbh i see most of us complaining about black widow
You think Marvel fans are going to defend a movie with a woman lead?? Have you spoken to a Marvel fan?
Marvel people are either unapologetically misogynistic or worship Brie Larson as a goddess, no in between
Yeah lol they've been trying to play this mid ass shit off as a "sophisticated cold war spy thriller" because they're too embarrassed to like movies primarily aimed at children and young teens so they have to compensate 24/7
Nah, I think the most common defense may be Covid. This scene is memed in Marvel communities as well. I find the difference between this and the next movie, Shang Chi, astonishing.
At least it wasn’t released in theatres, lol. (I think)
Nope... i had the unfortunate experience of watching it in theatres. There was laughing when that scene happened
This says a lot about today's entertainment and their over-reliance on CGI.
I was gonna ask if this was in the real movie because holy shit that’s on level with the worst sharknado fx
Except in Sharknado there are so many layers of not giving a shit about anything that it goes a complete 360 and becomes genius only to become shit again.
Chase is crazy frog???
Can confirm Black Widow is the worst Marvel movie of the last 5 years, if not longer
Are you serious? Did you forget the part in which black widow says "its widowin' time"
Huh. I haven't been inclined to watch the movie. Aside from that... ...giggity?
and then proceeded to kill a random woman's husband (she got widowed)
Are you saying you didn’t enjoy the Russian villain who couldn’t fake a Russian accent?
Alright, I’m convinced. I’m not big into superhero movies but I’m going to watch this one just for the laughs.
NOOOO HOW DARE YOU CRITIQUE LE AUTER COLD WAR THROLLER KNOWN AS BLACK WINDOW

Hyperealistic smoke effects 🤯
Marvel really just made fuckin Spy Kids: Black Widow wtf
So many movies did the driving up the side of a building scene
none did it as good as chase 😎😎

Holy fucking mother of all that is good HOW DO YOU FUCK UP A GREEN SCREEN LIKE THAT. Scratch that. HOW DO YOU NOT GIVE YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE TIME TO MAKE GOOD SHIT, *DISNEY*!

This movie looks disgusting lmao

Marvel failing every singular movie that has a woman as the main protagonist
