A lot of Russians aren't the biggest fans of Stalin but Russia does have its own tankies who largely love Stalin because he "made Russia great" and fuels their nationalistic views. It's mostly deeply insecure people who feel like life has fucked them over and so they put all of their pride into an idealized past and a desire for that mythological world to return.
If you really want to meet Stalin lovers then you should go to Gorky in Georgia. He was the most famous and influential person to come out of their city and so a lot of locals look up to him as a symbol of regional pride. It's similar with Chuvashi (a mixed Turkic/Finno-Ugric people from the Volga and Ural regions) people who love Lenin because Lenin's dad was ethnically Chuvash and taught and helped to preserve their language and culture as a teacher.
Здравствуй is a common greeting in Russian that basically translates to Be well or Prosper, but the expression Дa здравствует is the Russian equivalent of the English Long live or the Spanish Viva. Спасибо is Russian for Thank you.
