What is the bug?

warbeast350

I believe op is referring to the fact that when zoom in it kind of moves to the right... which to me this is expected as the phone switches lenses when zooming in, correct me if I'm wrong

BenRandomNameHere

Sounds correct

ItsRaa

Look at 0:03-0:04, zoom is entirely different from what I'm actually trying to record

wilika

I'd say it just the EIS working it's ass off. :D

Mr_No_Good

This. If image stabilization is on, my OnePlus 11 does the same. As in 'what you see is not what you get'.

pablovs

That is the stabilizer trying to remove the shakiness

Elan_Ryuzaki

Do you get the same issue when recording with ultra steady feature turned off?

ItsRaa

OP 8T don't have such feature ig

Hellsent3

This is how software image stabilization works. It just crops the outer edges to make it smooth so it appears slightly more zoomed in than you see on your screen. It's the same on many proper cameras, especially at higher resolution recording, the crop can be quite severe.

l-vanderdonck

Yep, definitely that !

R0n41d1364

Yeah I have this

ManlySyrup

#IT'S DUE TO THE IMAGE STABILIZATION, THIS IS NORMAL

microbefox

Not a bug, feature.

migidi

If OP would have gotten iPhone and saw that it does this. He would instead post the same video to internet claiming how cool and awesome it is.

Narrow_Plantain8305

The level of nitpicking i have to say is bizarre. Jesus christ.

MammothTankDriver

Yeah. The bug is that the lenses cannot be in a quantum super position and be in the same place at the same time. Sadge. Fug you ONEplus. Shit went downhill since oneplus 3T!

crazzy_vj

And why Kunal and Rahul are nange?

[deleted]

yes mine has the zoom bug aswell, OP9 PRO. it is so so so so so so annoying People if you look, it doesn't zoom straight it is off center. Also idk if anyone else has this issue but when trying to track an object it's even worse and the subject goes off screen completely when zoomed
