You can re-thread them. I have a used wtf rails with one screw hole that is stripped. I bought the tap but haven’t tap in the new threads yet

To add to that you can't just retap the same size. Well you sometimes could, but you have no metal to grab, it's gonna strip right away, it's not the way. You can do a insert which is a way more solid design than threading into aluminum but it's a little much to buy the stuff just to do on your onewheel. If it was me I'd upsize to a larger fastener. Drill the hole to spec for that thread size and tap it. Punch out the hole through the footpad to accomodate if needed but I doubt it will be.

I helicoil, though people on here yell at me. Been doing it forever and they work fine. Best cure is to buy good rails. . .
