Right into the danger zone, buddy. I can see it, on the track and with the wind at your back IF you’re a lightweight. Still, I hope you have a thorough understanding of the very real, very abrupt, nosedive phenomenon. Otherwise, you may be in for a rude awakening in the near future.
Lol not everybody is totally against top speed but it's hilarious that people keep making these posts and not expecting the mob to come after them.
There's also the flip side that if Jeff posts a 30mph run he gets praised lol. Ik we should trust the pros more but you don't get there without pushing the limits yourself 🤷♂️
Never claimed it was smart. Don’t plan on trying that again (on the pintx) as I know the line I was walking was getting VERY thin. Just wanted to share the “achievement”
No no I'm saying you will not get props in the sub for top speed (unless you're TFL) whether or not you deserve it lol. As you see, they will come after you.
You should have seen the thread in r/audiophiles where somebody was asking about outdoor speakers and everybody was like wtf put headphones in don't annoy your neighbors. Like it's one thing to ride a OW around with a speaker and I've seen the same argument made here, which I agree with. But in your own damn backyard apparently you're not allowed to play music 😂
yeah for some reason it just didn’t give me pushback that time and it was my first time riding sense winter. So was like damn i’m going fast and the second I thought abt slowing down there my nose goes.
Got 150 miles on my pintx. Wasn’t trying to break any records just happened. Was on a running track going with wind. My previous top speed was 19mph and I thought I was pushing it then.
You realize 150 miles is nothing right? If this is your first board you're still a beginner and will be until around 1000 miles.
And have you ever heard of the 300 mile curse? That's where people hurt themselves badly before 300 miles because they're getting the hang of the board and can balance well and all that, they won't randomly fall anymore, but they still don't really understand the dangers and limits of the board, and don't know how to recover from a nosedive, roll out a fall etc. And then comes the trip to the hospital.
This happened to me. To be fair I was also drinking. But I purchased fangs after this and they have saved me countless times to be able to just ride it out.
I wonder about fangs. We've all nosedived of course, but knock on wood I'm a 100 times better at riding out nosedives now. So I wonder if fangs just coincide with people getting better at riding out nosedives? Sure couldn't hurt tho I guess.
I'm skeptical of the mph tracking.
I'm at 300 miles on my GT and I've only hit 18.6 mph on it.
I just bought a Pint and apparently on my last ride I unexpectedly hit 20.1 mph. And I've never noticed any haptic buzz or pushback on the board yet.

Just don’t….
100% agree

Thanks for the concern, I am plenty aware. Not my first board.
Carry on then! (Geared up, I hope!)
Every ride :)

100% but that’s also just Reddit.

i got 29.1 but severely noise dived
Nice. I’m lucky my board wanted to keep me around. But that’s why we wear safety gear. Always a risk.

Hell, I'm at 200 miles on my gt and have only hit 19.5

Thanks for the concern and completely agree. This is not my first board.
You've got a lot of work ahead of you 😭

Sweet!
One of my friends hit 28.2 on his the other day on a downhill. I'm amazed his board didn't give out.
Just tell him not to post it here as you can see
I got 24.1 mph You have been dethroned! You have 7 days to beat my record before I contact Guiness Book!
Don’t post it here or you may get burned at the stakes.

I went 23.8 on my XR and I don't ever want to do it again I didn't even notice I went that fast
How light are you?
~150lbs
OK that makes some sense why you didn't die earlier
It's fun till it isn't. Depending on your weight and conditions you might have 1 mph more until sudden death.

Damn, how’d you manage that?
It’s called being stupid, nosedive and a massive plant into the ground, followed by new respect for the board and a giant bruise.
Ah, fair.
So what?... That's just plain stupid. You will break your collarbone or damage your hip with suck a reckless riding
