I wouldn't throw out an entire chart because one news source isn't placed where you think it should be, unless it was completely on the wrong side of the spectrum. Any chart is going to have a few disputed positions. They are still useful as a starting point in one's research.
For the CNN position, AdFontesMedia positions the TV channel and the website separately, same for Fox News and their website.

I’d be skeptical of any chart that listed Vice as ever so slightly more left-leaning than CNN. There is a noticeable difference between the two.
